Like always great film, with beautiful landscapes and a lot of practical knowledge! Thank you for that! one of my two favorite channels :) The second channel is recorded by a Pole -> Globus fishing. Because of You I'll probably go back to Norway x-D
Bad luck with ya supper Billy, but sometimes the scenery compensates for a hungry belly,, although, like mine, it doesn't look to be goin short on sustenance 😂😂 Crackin video as usual pal,, 🎣🎣👍👍👍
Hi Billy I'm glad to see you safe and well brother.. I see that you have produced yet another stunning video .full of information and as always very enjoyable to watch. My only hope is that people who are thinking of fishing inside the artic circle . take note of the sound advice that you have given in many of your videos . about tackle and lures.that are suitable to use in these water's. Anyway billy keep making your videos ..if only one person has been saved from spending hundreds of pounds on tackle that is completely useless inside the artic circle. Then everything You have shown and said had been worth your efforts.. Anyway billy as always keep safe and well brother.
Thanks for the video Billy, that first mark that you fished with all that bracken looked like prime mosquito country and there’s you with your legs out. Thought you would get bitten to buggery. I was hoping you’d get a decent fish or two. Have to wait until next week 🐟🇳🇴
You are making me want to try fishing surf like this. Not so normal here. Got some equipment and know-how already. If you ever are further north like Tromsø and need a local, just let me know. Happy fishing!
There's not much you can do about that, but I have been inside the Mark 2. And the engineering is quite good. Can't speak for build quality though 🤣 thanks Brother 😁👌
Liking the shorts Billy, my mrs is ginger (kiwi of Irish descent) so my eyes are accustomed to glare. 👩🏻🦰 Note - this in no way means I fancy you. 🤣 Norway looks beautiful in the sunlight. Those marks are the kind I like to fish.
One more nice video from beautiful Norway, thanks for sharing! How come you are consistently using a stronger leader than main? Given you use the BF knot, which I hear carries 100% of the line's strength, is it not so that by using a stronger leader you risk breaking the main line at any random place if you have an ugly snag? I get the abrasion bit and how the leader needs to be tolerant to some rock running etc, but you lose the predictability of where your line would snap, no?
Hi. 30 lbs, is the lowest I will go! And even then sometimes the cod to chew there way through through it. Also if a fish gets caught in a snag, the back and forth battle to free it, will also eat its way through the leader. So I would rather lose the fishing line, than fish! Thanks Brother 😁👌
Hi billy was it you that was talking to some halv American kid that was trying to catch some coalfish in Harstad a year ago and you gave him some tips to catch them. If that was you i am the kid you where talking too.😄
I do like the original 525 slidey mags but they never seem to like me . I might have to get back into multipliers as I have become so lazy fixed spool and braid.
@@Billyfishing_watchAn hour is longer than I thought you would say. That's a fair few casts for sure. Also, if nothing hits the light jig you don't throw the paddle tail for a couple just to see if that's the lure for the day??
Well atleast you didnt blank and finished with a nice run of codling. Another good video Billy you the man 😁
Thanks Adrian. Plenty more fish in the sea, at least up here anyway 😁👌
Great video! From Kentucky, USA

Anytime brother, glad you liked it 😁👌
I hate that the best weather to be outside is the worst for fishing 😢
Great job finding fish either way!
Ideally what you need is, a couple of days of low pressure! And then one with high, so you can break out the barbecue 😋 thanks Brother 😁 👌
BILLY!!! 🙂 Such beautiful locations with or without fish!
Yes it is! Thanks brother 😁👌

Great video billy i use the usa made mk1 525 mags too wont use the newer ones especially the mk4s too much plastic bits inside them
There's not much you can do about that, but I have been inside the Mark 2. And the engineering is quite good. Can't speak for build quality though 🤣 thanks Brother 😁👌
A catfish hook here in the US resembles a large safety pin with a twin barbed hook on the end and you use the pin to fasten a stinky chicken liver.
Thanks for the info William! Tight lines brother 😁👌

Nice location, shame about the fish Billy. He's to the next adventure.👍👍
Thanks Graham, you can't win 'em all brother 😁👌
How many casts will you generally give it before you move on to the next area?
If I don't know the mark! I will generally fish for about an hour and a half. I don't know how many casts that is. Thanks Brother 😁👌
