Got busted for growing last year for the first time in 42 years of growing, they took my 5 plants,(2 weeks off harvest) slashed my tent to bits, took all my lights fan filter etc & stomped 3 of the pots compost content into my landing carpet just out of badness, wtf are they so frightened of a plant for? to do such childish shit. They sent a drone to check the bedroom i was using too this summer while I was in the garden. Spare a though for us british underground breeders & growers. I was growing to treat my cancer & prevent it returning too. Spent 12 hours in the cells & was released with a caution . No charge. What a waste of police time & our money.
Nothing quite like some hours on concrete while your home is trashed and your shits gone. Bummer.
As a grower in Germany I hope we will legalize Homegrowing 2024 properly. Waiting for Recharge Dudes.😊

I have to point out that 2 separate Fed Judges ruled smell can not be used. Also, they will not go after you unless You are transporting many lbs of wees. Scoty is so right about "Just Doing my Job".
I mean yes they may have ruled that. But in practice out in the real world in a Prohibition state do you really think that's going to be adhere to? Personally I bet no you are still going to jail. We were at a sticker shop in Washington county raids VA last week.. there to get a few souvenir and art gifts for friends on the way to visit. My girl loves the swag and art and bam... cops were all over! Rec legal state and no where to buy legal without paying for it thru the nose, many shared there.. not I right...😮 seriously tho they let us grow and share but they don't really want to let the people have their freedom. It's a plant man... "just doing my job" didn't help in the Nuremberg trials...

4:14 it's the whole spectroscopic fingerprinting. USGS has a library of bunch of plant species with their corresponding spectrographs. To the human eye, both artificial and real grass look the same/similar. To an hyperspectral sensor they're vastly different. Not only artificial ones, an entire forest is full of "color" variations in the spectrum that is not visible the human eye. (remember PAR spectrum? Anything outside of that is also outside of human vision). It's as easy as fingerprint matching for the law enforcement.
I was sooo paranoid back in 89, boy I have good stories to tell. Legal now and able to sleep much better.

Uk smokers used to mostly get "rocky" soap bar hash ( so bad you'd have to heat it with a lighter to crumble it ) this was mixed with tobacco to make a spliff. I think that's where the mixing weed with tobacco comes from .

This happened in my front yard! 2 helicopters at least 10 regular trucks & cars came up the driveway that has a gate & no trespassing signs everywhere. ,A man with a sherif vest popped out & said , dont worry about us , were just looking for Marijuana! My mother thought they were going to run into the house! That day has created PTSD & puts neighbor against neighbor! The Nazis were just doing there job!
I live in northern Michigan and I grow what they allow us to.theres so much cheap and good green around that I haven't thought about getting plants took in along time....

It takes me almost an hour to trim an ounce, so for one of my 4x4 tents I can look forward to 16 hours of trim jail..
I worked to hard, for too long to use a auto trimmer/shaker bag.

We're with Scotty. Hang and dry. We will pre trim most of the fan leaves however and leave the rest to cocoon the bud and slow the dry/cure. fine tune when they start to get almost crispy so not so sticky yet not too dry to damage/knock off trichromes

Trichomes off, I harvest Trichomes. After , drying before curing I will trim off any sugar leaves that envelope the bud for other use.
Keep up the good info you guys. I can't wait for next year, overnite basically, this years rotted on me, 85% of it or so. Many pounds just ugly brown rot, mold etc. Good thing theres no powdery mildew this year for some reason.
Could the new real buckets be made square? Benefits would be better grommet seal and could pack them closer togethher maybe feed four buckets from one reservoir for us Canadian four plant limit.i bet that would fit my 5x5' grow tent ,keep up the good work.its been a great learning experience watching all your shows,I think I started around ep 100.
Originally, Scotty was just showing how simple they were to make yourself, from what I remember. And they worked so well, more started to buy them built by Scotty. The one's he made to demonstrate the simple build, were then sold, and maybe even given away to at least one member of the community..?! Since then, he's made them available after much demand for "plug and play", ready to use Real Buckets.
If you go back to some older DGC shows, within the last year, he gives simple directions to make these in an option of buckets. The 5 gallon buckets, 3 gallon buckets are highly available, so he uses them.
You may be able to make a square one, if you can find the right pieces of squares to fit inside the other..?!
IDK if Scotty could make a custom one, like that..?! It would probably be hard to find the squares, and cost much more..?!🤔👍💯🙏✌️

Tape plastic flowers and or fruit to your out door plants. I.e. red Christmas tree balls make nice tomatoes

One thing I gotta comment on, cameras and signs.. don't do it.
Don't go to heavy on the signs. If you must, put it out of sight of the street but in sight of anyone entering your home.
Thieves love people who have a lot to protect. And they will try your security if they decide you're worth it.
By the way, with this being said. Your best defence is your mind.

Trimming sucks. But processing it, you still have to trim it, freeze it, wash it and then press it
When i was a kid in the 70s a grower told me of chopping off pine trees and putting horizontal plywood over them to make places for your plants the eyes in the sky cant see.

@Scotty. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis. Trimming is painful and difficult for me. I live in probation land. I keep my grow secret. Don’t have trim party participants available. Trim aids are sometimes needed. Your rant against trimming aids, more specifically the attitude towards those who do use them was a bit demeaning. Sometimes you forget to fully consider others circumstances. There are more reasons than laziness these products are available.

Industrial trimmers, and even the half sphere, hand cranked trimmers with the rubber fingers..?!
Big difference in results with round, dense, buds(okay!), but not so well for Sativas with looser, spread out buds, especially if any foxtailing. They'll be trimmed apart, literally.
I've been growing some Fems that use the original Animal Cookies cut from 2009 as the Fem pollen donor.
"Texas Toasted". Texas Shoreline cut(82') x AC. Also grew Tahoe OG, Motorbreath #15, Gorilla Glue #4 crossed with the AC Fem pollen.
Tall, stretchy, OG style internode space. Flowers are now getting huge, donkey dick colas, with Trichomes starting to turn creamy, yet all white pistils are still bright white.
Beautiful buds now, and very, very little leaf to bud ratio. If fan leaves are taken off, there's not much left to trim.

I miss BMX so bad. Now I'm on my 3rd bike being stolen. I guess it's partly my fault, but Dude always reminds me of being out on the bike. I bought a mountain bike last summer, but I hurt my neck pretty bad and with work and my other excuses, I haven't had a lot of time to get back on it. I still need to be consistent in my workout because after years of not riding bikes, I've gotten out of shape. Never knew how much muscle it takes to ride a bike until I stopped riding. We have a lot of nice trails in my area. No mountains, but we have bluffs and live in a pretty big valley.

I use to run those machines and bags. But stick to the wooden spoon. If you run fresh frozen live bubble with just nugs, you will get full melt bubble that will stretch like laffy taffy.

Growing and using would be allowed. But processing it into concentrates, extracts, etc, or possession of anything other than bud would be illegal, just like moonshine.
Their useing thermal camera and pot puts off more heat than any other plants. The thermal camera can be on white hot , black hot, rainbow, green hot, and couple more. But pot is going to light up what ever they have it on.
I got a trim bowl and it makes things faster and easier and know I am knocking off some trichomes but they land in the bowl where my edibles come from. but I have enough weed that I give it away. so it like I could save all my cans and take them in and get 5cents for it or I could throw them away and save myself the trouble of saving them and loading them and driving into town to cash in 5.00 of cash. just how I think

There is a whole process for washing your vaped organic matter to separate and reclaim any "good" organic matter.
The law is set to take effect on Dec. 7, 2023. Under the proposal's language, once it becomes legal, Ohioans can start growing six marijuana plants each, or up to 12 plants per household all without a license. Dispensaries will not be able to sell recreational marijuana until late 2024.

Anyone denied safe access should be able to sue the city you live in. 215 should still be relevant in my opinion. Recreational shouldn't have even impacted the medical side

Long story short, the town came to bulldoze the jumps, the builders fought it, they were allowed to keep them as long as they hold insurance and everyone follows the rules. One of the sickest sets of jumps in the world, awesome people and always fun.

Had the gas company at my house the other day. Tried making excuses to not have them in. Finally told the guy I got a medical grow. He was like "I don't care if it is legal or illegal, I'm here to make sure your appliances work correctly and you are safe once we turn the gas back on." It does cost over 1000 an hour to have a helicopter in the air.

Ive had the helicopter flir my place. They couldn't see anything because it was all in the basement. They then used the fact that they looked, they never stated they seen anything on the affidavit and still were able to get a warrant. Total BS

I use a trim bag, i have also hand trimmed. You remove just about as many trichomes by holding the buds while hand trimming as you do light tumbling and a quick clean up.
Don’t hold the buds when you trim. Leave some stem to grab
When I would hangout in the grow yard because someone had to always be there because there are thieves that will jump that big 5th and steal the buds I would see the helicopter fly over the neighborhood there was more than one grow on that street one day they came and took down every single grow.... My friend didn't get a ticket I think they kept that weed it was really good outdoor Cookies

I do the the vape edibles and figure they are worth 1/4 of what I would use so 1 oz of weed to 1 lb of butter. Or 8 grams of vaped weed would count as 2 grams as regular weed
If you have 1lb of weed butter they charge you for the whole pound. They can't take the weed out.

I was stopped regularly starting at 12 y\o buy cops, using the classic vague excuse of; “we got reports of a suspicious individual in the area; or, “we have reports of auto burglaries in the area and you match the description, at (12-13 y/o). I’ve started getting slammed against cop cars at 13. They never had anything on me, & they stopped me weekly. 😒😂
