For those who don’t know: mother deer will leave their fawns alone for a few hours or up to a day. They leave their fawns in a spot they feel is safe. So if you find a fawn alone, calling out for their mom, don’t move them, the mother will almost always come back and retrieve her fawn.
Now if you find a fawn with curled ears it's a sign of dehydration and most likely hasn't seen it's mom for a while to nurse but the fawn here looks healthy and should be left alone.

Fish and Game have issued a depredation permit, which we only sought after trying every single deterrent possible, including a 20' tall tube man on a motion sensor and tagging problem deer with a paintball gun. They are so, so cute when they are little. Not so much when they are a fully-grown buck, and they will be especially dangerous come rut.

Don't worry Yall mom isn't to far away from the fawn, She usually is out feeding when she leaves her Fawns alone, So If you see a baby fawn alone do not interact because mom is normally around and not too far away!

I love fawns and thier way of calling to mom also it's a reality every baby of animal and pet can speak , eat, and walk except human baby so, it's difficult to nourish both for parents and child that's why thes sacrifices in survival of life human called Superior creature in all creatures.
My dad found a fawn in his garden one time. Crying for mom. Dad left it alone, kept the dogs away, kept an eye on it throughout the day and mom came back that evening for it.
