When fighting these fish it is important to fight them hard! If you battle them for an hour then you risk killing the fish. My advise to anyone who plans on doing this is to fight them like you're not afraid of losing them. The total fight time for this fish was 20 minutes on the dot, then about 1 minute worth of pictures and video, and then a nice revival. That was done using 20lb invisibraid and 80lb florocarbon leader.

Sweet video man. I notice you threw out your anchor when you hooked up. I do the opposite and pull anchor on hook up so the tarpon doesn't wrap around my line. Nice job on keeping him in front of you.

Not really an issue with the paddle board because it's so light that the fish just keeps pulling you away from your anchor. I've never gotten wrapped on it.
