I revisit one of my favourite camps and condense the footage into an epic adventure where Blue and I have to endure the elements on a mountain. We relaxed in the safety of the tent knowing it was the best option for our well being due to the storm dumping snow constantly with high winds.

This is one of my favourites. If anyone was wondering where Blue was while the tent was being dug out, he was warm and cozy in his own homemade bivvy bag. 👍

One of my favourites, that one. Bluey dog just loves the snow as well as kipping in his bivvy bag and foil blanket. You can't beat a good quality tunnel tent in snow. My other fav is one of the Ben Nevis ones.

Loved this video way back Alan, definitely one of my personal favourites but the one that I still come back to watch regularly was the one in what was hurricane force winds when the tent pole gave way but thankfully the tent kept you & Blue safe,that is without doubt the best camping video ANYWHERE let alone here on TH-cam,I've never seen any video's that come close when it comes to 'wild camping'.

Love it. My hound also thoroughly enjoys it - he wears a full a full windproof waterproof outfit and has thermals to sleep in. I use my Hilleberg dome in the snow or my DCF Midus Bonfus 2P which feels even more secure. I carry a lightweight snow shovel as well.

That looks like so much fun. I love stormy weather. Every time I see you holding a hot pot over your sleeping bag I fear you will touch the pot to the fabric and the fabric will melt. Have you considered making a reflectix pot cozy? They work wonders for keeping food warm and no more worrying about a hot pot touching the fabric of an expensive sleeping bag.
I’m not worried about that as it’s never that hot. Direct flame from the gas can is what I’m carful with. A pot cosy would be good👍

That was some wild stuff. Couple minor observations; while you had good crampons and an ice axe, I didn’t see a hiking pole or a snow shovel. I guess with a dog like him, you don’t need much 🤷♂️. Great video.

It never ceases to amaze me how chill blue is.
One thing that is irritating is the warning notice permanently in your tent. Thankfully I was able to cut them off in my tents.
