It's been super hot in the valley so I made my way up to East Canyon Reservoir to do some Smallmouth Bass Fly Fishing. There were a lot of small fish up shallow, but I found a few bigger ones mixed in.

On Deer Creek one year with my boys, those "Big" size Smalls were what we were catching for Large.

Yeah, kind of a weird time of year here where all the moving waters are in run off, the mid elevation lakes are getting too warm for trout, and the high mountain stuff is still just opening up.
