Personally I REALLY like when you go off the wall with crazy habitats. I prefer it over normal zoo ones because IMO they are a lot more entertaining to watch.
The greatest philosophy
First off, I love how this is basically the most high-budget newt habitat to ever exist. It's so epic and dramatic (and SO MANY ROCKS) especially with the lighting and the music...
I really like how you re-did the entrance area of the zoo! And even included a playground, a restaurant, a gift shop... So very much like a zoo! But then of course you had to add in some cryptids and craziness, because this wouldn't be BiS if it was just a normal zoo. I would definitely be confused and wondering what happened to you if you managed to make a whole exhibit without some big theme.

“Searching the ice cave for the ancient fire drake!” Sounds like an awesome zoo experience
This is so fun, I love it~ Spooky stories and lovely, very cool exhibits! The newts better appreciate their home!

The tunnel isn't nearly as unrealistic as you'd think!
The volcanic tunnel in zoo Leipzig (Germany) is very similar! And to a lesser extent, the Desert tunnel in Burgers' zoo (Netherlands)!
Same goes for the mythology. Pairi Daiza (Belgium) does a lot of storytelling. And WILDLANDS (Netherlands) even has a whole myth and show about a giant bird in Rimbula (their tropical greenhouse)
I feel like this zoo could be the one that you add all the new pack animals to, and maybe you could even add stuff in between pack releases like a small Australian section, an African section, a north America section, an Asia section, arctic, etc. And I'm also looking forward to new videos on this zoo, it's looking really good! Keep up the great work bestinslot!😀
One thing I admire about BIS is that he gives just as much attention to the, lets be honest, worst animals in any dlc, as he does to the others. Like he's just built a whole-ass haunted cave for this tiny frog-lizard that barely moves.
After rewatching (yay, lunch break watching with friend!) I still can't get over that awesome rockwork, but also, kuddos to your patience; I totally would have rage quit and lose every little bit of sanity that is left with me.
Come for the themed builds, stay for the rocks.
Would I say I’m surprised that we’re returning to an old park? Yes, but I’m glad.
Would I say I’m surprised the new builds are Cryptid themed and our guests might die? Not in the slightest, but I’m very excited for it considering how much fun the JWE Cryptid park was!
I kid you not I'm addicted to your videos, it's like having a best friend miles away that has the same interests and such! Also I grew up on Destination truth!!! Literally cryptids/paranormal have been my thing since I could even remember. Now Dinosaurs are first and foremost my #1 passion though. Also maybe some fog effects in the rake cave if that's possible will give it an eeriness feel to it or even the newt exhibit. Also for your haunted jurassic world maybe use some broken gyrospheres in spots in an area of the park, Maybe even add some dilophosaurs as well! Also What about a camp cretaceous reference where you have to cross over the water of a mosasaur or other aquatic like the campers did but you don't realize it's an enclosure like the troodons
I did try to include fog in the build but unfortunately fog in the game is weird with lighting, in that it doesn't really get affected by it - so at night time, it just disappears into this barely visible black mist stuff unfortunately!
WOW!!! that might be my favorite PZ built of all time! the added music really is the cherry on top! I love everything in this built!
Awesome build. Glad to have you back in Planet Zoo and to see that you have found a good balance between Zoo-ish stuff and the classic BestInSlot over the top themed horror stuff. I'm beyond excited to see what more this zoo has to offer, with these amazing new animals!
Czech Republic has it's own "wet cryptid", sort of. He's called Jožin z Bažin and in the original tale he's captured and sold to a Zoo 😆

Ya know, this type of really creative and immersive exhibit is much more likely to draw the public, especially kids, in and have them be engaged and interested. Your type of “vibes not realism” could actually be argued to be an incredibly effective zoo in terms of educating the public and getting them invested in the mission of conservation etc. Long comment but mostly to say that this IS a zoo and it’s awesome. Keep it up
Animals as cryptids has always been a neat concept and will always be so :)
Here’s to suggest something: Red-crowned cranes are native to Japan and so are the countless kinds of supernatural beings called yōkai. I bet you can look up a swamp-dwelling yōkai that the crane can kinda fit with.

I actually had the opportunity to meet Josh Gates at an archeology convention thing here in downtown San Diego a few years ago. It was such a cool experience!

Love you work man i like that your continuing this zoo but after this zoo you should make a normal zoo split into each continents eg Oceana , Europe etc with each area being themed from that region.

FYI there are ONLY 7 continents. N and S A,erica is 2, Africa and Asia, makes 4, Europe and Australia make 6 plus Antarcitica makes 7.

I say 7 too, but it depends on geological or political boundaries etc. Some people say 6, some 9
