Thank you 🙏 I wish my English was better to describe how’s to drive the N30 and the emotions it gives you. Can’t wait to take the car on track and make a video😊
The nice thing about the i30N is that its very versatile. Especially the Hot Hatch variant. I personally use my i30N in Normal mode each day for normal driving and as I call it Friday Bang Night where its N mode only. But I do on special occasions use the Eco mode on Highway's since you don't need to blast it in N mode on a Highway. I honestly don't drive it that fast since I want to enjoy the car for as long as it can drive. Especially in right conditions (No Rain,No Wet Road,No Snow) I do push it's limits to see how it can handle. From the Video I see just a 3600 km that isnt much compared to my 44000 km in my 2020 Hyundai i30N You do want to go easy on it and not floor it each day, unless you rarely drive it then go ahead. Personally I peak it each day to around 9.9L/100km going uphill and downhill 2 times, rest is flat. Overall the Hyundai is a phenomenal car choice compared to the rest of the SUVs that dont want they precious Gem getting Dirty driving up a mountain road.
Hi Nero, thanks for sharing your experience. Hyundai Made a car for petrol heads. I have just small complaints. The infotainment system for example has a dated design ,wish we had the i20N new version. Since Hyundai claims it’s a track oriented car they could have integrated the Hyundai N app(only available in Korea) directly in the infotainment. The car doesn’t handle city traffic so well, DCT clutch too clunky and fuel consumption sky high.
@jonathansciacca7033 Well that's a Performance car for you. I didn't got the DCT as its cheaper to have a manual. Driving it each day with a DCT can be bit boring and pricy. Engine works very balanced but again the DCT as well as the Clutch itself wears quickly. Not to mention the Maintenance cost of one,but I am sure you knew what to expect from choosing a DCT. As for the infotainment system in not sure, mine works fine and I barely have issues. Maybe since mine is a 2020 model.
@hacimcim9946 As long as the engine is warmed up. Floor it like you mean it. I barely can floor it with the traffic around as well as the roads been converted to full lane instead of dotted.
You get better fuel milage from the DCT. I took my 2022 i30n on a track day for Hyundai N cars and the MT cars could not keep up with me, so I would say the DCT is better. But I understand why some people prefer MT.
maybe the MT should have a little bit better consumption...i'm very undecided for MT or DCT gearbox!!!!!! is a very analogic car...and to complete this setup you need MT!!!! but but..... i saw a lot of on board video and the MT is fantastic, precise and very short linkage....and sincerily sounds better .....i want to come back to driving MT before it desappears from the market in a few years....What do you think about?? on monday i have to go to the dealer for the contract....i'm in deep crisis....for the colour i chose Phantom Black and i want to put on the car all black emblemas....
Giorgio you are a pro driver so you Have to go for the manual! You will have more fun. 😜 I’m just a car enthusiast, more of a gentleman driver… and using the car in the city I don’t want the stress of the clutch. But in any case if you ever go on the track let me know, you could teach me some proper driving😉
@@jsmotorcafe you are welcome....so do you think MT??? My heart is for manual my brain fot DCT!!! but nornally i follow my heart!!! 😍 I raced this year in Italian GT Cup driving a Ferrari Challenge Evo in Gt configuration back to racing after 14 years of stop...and i can tell you that racing with semi automatic F1 Ferrari gearbox was little bit boring and i miss as in the past, the shift down phase doing the toe hell....Nostalgic???
@@goombek1861 i did this morning...MT !!!! I want a totally analogic car .... I love toe hell ... And the sound between the gears ... I'm also think six Gear has a better usability torque than 8 one ... But I know DCT is a very good gear ...there is a little return to the MT before arrive to the next boring cars .....
@@mrskate1495 i did my decision two days ago....I want a total analogic car before the end of the real cars....so I ordered MT!!! In Shadow Gray !!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Nice video, cool to see quiet ski fields and the i30n carving up the road. Cheers from Melbourne Aust
