Same way with classical guitar and stuff. Comparing an unknown great to an unknown great to the general public just kinda ruins the point of the whole analogy. That was a bit of an exageration, but you get the idea.
Hifijohn - you couldn’t be more right about that, but Bucky nailed it. Watch “Dragon” for an exploration of what the instrument is capable of in the hands of a true virtuoso not constrained by any sense of boundaries as to its potential. I’ve seen more than a few of Jake’s videos in the past several years, and his full Boh Rhap is great, but Dragon is on another level entirely. Jumping Flea, indeed.
