Aeathetic wise, 11th gen looks more mature and "euro"-ish inspired. 10th gen makes you look younger and it is definitely sportier looking.
I still like the old of previous gen civic especially the back. Interior for the 2022 model since it is more modern and updated.
So, if you can do without the extra gimmicks/tricks, the 'S' variant is moreorless as good as the 'V' or 'RS' variants, from a mechanical perspective, bar the paddles. 1.3M is considerably less than a near 1.7M, while performance is virtually identical ! It's extremely thoughtful for Honda to also offer an 'S' variant with such a powerful turbo charged engine, at such an affordable price as realised.🙂

subjective ang exterior looks pero I prefer the 10th gen, interior, 2022 syempre, not bad din ang price sa RS variant, malaki price difference sa other variants compared sa previous price… anyways you can’t go wrong with a civic [H] 😎👌

I dont know why Honda Listens to critics that it is overly aggressive and subdued the 11th gen in terms of styling

I will never understand why they didn't include the manual variant here in the PH. Meron sa US 6-speed MT SI variant pero mas madami naman maalam magdrive ng stickshift sa Pinas kesa sa America. I hope Honda changes their tune and releases a stickshift variant. It's a Civic and it deserves to have a stickshift option.
Realtalk pre, gusto ko tlga manual na civic kaso wala e. Yung type r lng option mo e sobrang mahal namn.
marami nagsasabi na gusto nila ng stick option but at the end of the day, hindi naman bumebenta mga ganung units kaya nawala na sa lineup.

@@PolarBimbi That is true. A sad reality for those of us who love driving stick. Pero sa tingin ko mas malaki pa din market dito ng manual. May mga kilala ako na bibili lang ng specific models na may MT variant (me being one of them). Kaya sana for the Civic, naconsider ng Honda yun. Lalo na it has a large following here in the country that includes race enthusiasts.

Great car, love the new design! Except for the grill, I'd rather have the Si grill on the US market. Speaking of which I'm also disappointed on the new 'RS'... I was really hoping for the legendary Si to finally come here in the Philippines I even commented a picture of the Si on Honda Philippines' fb page lol.
Also having looked at the Honda PH website, I think you'd be better off with the S or V variant rather than paying extra 200k on the RS which have the same power output as all variants, and you can even use that 200k on let's say power or nice looking wheels and boom it's much better.
Overall I love it, not the RS but I still love the Civic with it clean designs and no more fake vents and overstyling like the 10th gen had.
Waiting for the civic hatchback :)

Yown!! Noong unang labas ng Civic 11th gen, mixed feelings kasi parang watered down yung design as opposed to the Civic X. Bumawi lang sa interior. Personally yung 11th is like a more natural design evolution ng Civic 9th. Also Civic X is like an angry college rich kid and Civic XI is like a subdued but sporty young professional. After months of viewing the online videos the 11th, i must say that the design grows on you. Pero siempre personal preference yon..

Pogi ng new RS, simple lang design mas timeless . Less chrome + mature look. Well pogi parin naman yung last gen, Lalo na Type R.

I there for conclude that mas maganda talaga ang exterior design ng mga Honda Civic na even numbered (except for gen 5 na maganda din at kakaibang ang dating during the early 90's) generations gen 6 gen 8 and gen 10.

rs model is only for asia. in europe its only the 5 door hatchback for sale. here in US, there are lx, ex, ex-l, sport, sport touring and hatchback variants and soon to be released by december the si model. the type r is to be released next year.
In the US, the manual option is not available in lower trim right? Just the ST, hatch and SI?

Around same price ng top of the line ng mazda 3 ngaun kaso hybrid na ang mazda 3 so better fuel economy pero tipid nrin ang civic to begin with alam ko so d magkakalayo sa long drives.
Pero same magnda ang interior saka 12 piece bose speaker setup. Daym, kung sa exterior ano mas trip mo? Sa totoo lang sobrang dalang ko mkakita ng 2019 and up na mazda 3 sa daan haha.
