Re: the ice cream maker, it will only make it like soft serve. Tips - freeze the drum 24hrs, don't add extras until it's almost soft serve. Should only take about half an hour to freeze to soft serve. I recommend the Cuisinart or Kitchen Aide drum you can use with the stand mixer.

When I lived at home we had water that came from a well and it was very hard water. Once I moved out and have town water supply I noticed a drastic difference with my hair and skin. I think you’ll really love it!

I’ve been a silent subscriber but I live in Florida too and boy do we have hard water the chlorine can be smelled a mile away. A water softer and purifier is the way to go we have one it’s been a game changer. You guys are going to love it ! The kids are so big already it’s unbelievable . 🩷
The little cars discussion reminded me of the cars in Richard Scarry....particularly that of Lowly Worm. I wonder how many cylinders it had. I absolutely loved the Grand Adventures of the Great and Wonderful Bolt. You need to write a book. I would buy it. The older three Trackers would be listed as authors. Oliver would get credit on the Audible book...maybe as the Bolts evil twin with that laugh. Heh heh heh heh.

There is a product called CLR which is a chemical that will clean calcium lime and rust right off of those faucets for you. You use it and then you just use bath temperature water (bath temperature for a 5 to 7-year-old) and a throwaway sponge after you use it to scrub clean and it will be clean and clear and safe to drink out of.(I personally have used it and done it that way and drink straight from the faucet afterwards and everything was fine.
When making homemade ice cream put the ingredients on the stove let it steam while you stir. Then let it sit on the counter at room temperature for an hour. Then refrigerator for 8-24 hours. We use our kitchenaid ice cream maker it takes about 25-30 minutes to turn into ice cream.

lol Keith and I are neat freaks and Keith has a place for everything in our garage , all his tools are organised on the wall ! He has cupboards to store things in ! We don’t like clutter so everything is put away ! A lot harder with children lol
I recommend the Cuisinart ice cream maker and prefreeze my clean bucket 48 hours prior to use. It takes less than 20 mins to set and u need to get the ice cream out and into a container STAT, or it will hard freeze to the walls. I reduce amount of sugar in every recipe, or use bananas or dates puree to sweeten ice cream.
Water- Nova Scotia, we dont have the britta whole house system but do have a salt based water softener for 20 yrs. Until u get a good idea of suds really reduce ur laundry soap. I use 1/8 of the amount of liquid laundry detergent -HE. Or I have to rinse and spin after wash to remove the suds from wash. FLA H2O is bad but I have seen worse...water with sour gas in the well system in rural Alberta Canada (I wonder with the oil connection if Texas water is like that).
I live in NJ and my hubby bought the house water filtration system and was told all that positive stuff. I never noticed any difference in my hair or skin. Our water always tasted fine so that was never an issue. Good luck with yours!!
Here is a book that Jackson might like, “My Dad Had That Car” by Tad Burness. It has 1300 pages and 12500 illustrations, which I guess we’re drawn by the author, who’s a famous auto artist.
We had to get a water filtration and softening system (live in NJ) bc our water was poisoned and we had a baby. It was so nice to just use water from our house rather than bottled jugs! You’ll love the way your skin feels ❤
Trackers, a couple years ago we got a water softener and carbon filter (to take the chlorine out as we are also in FL) and it was money well spent. Taking a shower and washing your hands does feel slippery but you will get used to it. The benefits are really good. Jen mentioned hair and one more thing is you probably wont need to use fabric softener in your laundry anymore.
Last home vlog you showed us the picture Jackson was afraid of and it triggered my fear of small holes or small clusters lol and I was going to mention this when Tim said he was afraid of a dial on his play pen when he was young.

The water here in Southwest Louisiana is very hard as well. I clean houses and buy some cleaners that help dissolve minerals.
