I hope you know how much joy/happiness/excitement your videos bring to people! It seems like so much work to post sooo many videos but it’s truly (for some) SOOOO appreciated and needed 🥹
That view of international gateway of France and the water in the background (pre-skyliner) is where my husband proposed to me in a Tim Tracker tee-shirt. ❤
Jackson has gotten to where he is good for making me belly laugh at least 3 times per video. “It looks like a popcorn” and “they have little tiny feet” had me rolling! 😂
Lucy is the elephant. She is a national historic landmark. Built in 1881, she has served as a tavern in the past, and a real estate office at another time. She has been in many states of disrepair over the years, but most recently was completely restored to all of her glory and sits along the boardwalk in Margate New Jersey, close to Atlantic City. I saw her for the first time in 1970 and have visited her many times over the years. I love visiting her now when she is standing tall and beautiful. Your room is a replica of all of the old boardwalk hotels in Atlantic City prior to it becoming all about gambling.
We have vacationed in Ocean City, NJ for over 50 years. I always loved traveling up to Margate and visiting Lucy The Elephant, when I was a kid. This Disney Resort Hotel really captures that East Coast NJ Boardwalk vibe. Love it!
So funny how at the same time you guys finished off your list Chris from Provost Park Pass is just starting to speedrun all of them in 20 days! Love the video.
8:58 That elephant is Lucy! She's 142 years old, and now a historic site in Margate NJ! I grew up going "down the shore", and it's so awesome to see Disney bring that nostalgic feeling of the Jersey Shore to life
Love the Boardwalk Inn! My husband and I were married there at Sea Breeze Point ☺️. And Jackson helping Tim with the room tour was awesome! He’s a natural!
I know what the rides were on the cabinet. One is definitely an old roller coaster, another is the classic moving floor, a classic maypole, and a classic side coaster. They don’t make most of them anymore except the roller coaster. The moving floor was stopped in the 1950s as it was a balancing act trying to stand on one. The side coaster was replaced by the steeplechase. Maypoles were common but it didn’t do much. The last maypole was Disney at the empty space in Disneyland.
That elephant in the lobby also reminds me of Lucy the Elephant, which is a historic landmark down the Jersey Shore. (In Margate to be exact, which is just south of Atlantic City.) 🐘💚
Happy belated Mother’s Day Jenn! You are such a great mom to Jackson & Oliver. I was just rewatching the pregnancy announcement and it’s crazy to see how far you have come!
We are so excited the Quick Service Plan is back. We have always used that plan. Even if it doesn't save us any money per say, we just love the ease and convenience of using it. Our next trip down there will be Christmas next year and staying at AOA again - which is where we always stay.
Oh my goodness I am so excited for this video! What a fun stay. There's nothing like being right there at the International Gateway. ❤ Boardwalk lobby is one of my favorite smells. 😊
Love it! We stayed at the Boardwalk inn side for our honeymoon and we had the same problem. we would have to go up steps and then back down by the bar just to get out to the boardwalk. And our room was close to espn zone at the time so we wished we couldve just had an exit over there without having to back track
The Cake Bake Shop does serve afternoon tea. The food and cakes are amazing. I can't wait for you guys to try it. I'm fortunate to have one close by in Carmel, Indiana. It's delightful. ❤
We went there for the character breakfast and ride the bicycles. The resort is modeled after boardwalk towns like Cape May, NJ, named one of Americas best beach towns. We just got back from Cape May, and it was neat to see how well some of the details were done at the resort versus the real thing.
Such a beautiful part of Disney property. I love walking on the Boardwalk. Such a pretty place to just sit or stroll. I'd love to do a staycation at one of the resorts....hopefully one day😊. Looks like it was a great time! Thank you for bringing us along! Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
The Boardwalk has the most useful feature in WDW--location, location, location. A short walk to EPCOT and a slightly longer walk to Hollywood Studios, so many options all around you.
I definitely agree with you Jenn on the skyliner stopping. On my most recent trip to WDW, on a very windy day, I found out that not only do the gondolas sway from side to side and back and forth, they also move up and down a little. Not exactly what you want to feel when up in the air.
Tim is the best at doing room and resort tours, but after this vlog I would love to see Jackson attempt a review. His comments throughout were so cute and funny!! Oh, and Oliver's outfit with the hat was beyond cute!!! I love staycation vlogs!!
Hi!! I haven’t been to all the resorts because from the time I wast a (NJ Disney Store) cast member and stayed at the Boardwalk Inn when it just opened (for cast), I have been in love with all things Boardwalk!! The old rooms were beautiful with lots of character. It deeply saddens me that they took that away to make it this new generic look. Especially since the beds (with storage) are too high for my 5 foot disabled frame to get onto! The alcove with the outlet is for scooters to charge. We charged mine in the hallway previously. If I can find a room picture I’ll send it to you. Enjoying my favorite resort again through you guys. Love yall!
Love this video!! I highly recommend the DVC rooms at Boardwalk if you ever get the chance. They are beautiful and so homey. Grew up with Boardwalk as one of my family’s home resorts and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
The school made Mother’s Day gifts are always the best. I always looked forward to them. I miss those days! My son is promoting junior high this year😮😢
@@bridgetclement2968 i have some from eagle and amazon. Get to hotel, toss in drawers, suit case under bed! I use one for meds, camera stuff and cords etc. i can get more into suitcase!
I was staying at the boardwalk same time! I saw you guys this weekend, I was In the elevator with Jenn I was in a wheelchair. I didn’t say anything but they are such a cute family!! ❤
Of the three Skyliner lines, the one that connects Caribbean Beach Resort, Riviera, and EPCOT International Gateway is the one that stops/slows most often because the Riviera stop has no dedicated wheelchair on/off point. This means that the whole continuous line must stop whenever someone using a wheelchair gets on or off the Skyliner at the Riviera station.
We LOVE The Boardwalk; in our top 3 favorite Disney resorts! That little Goody cutout is to take a selfie with and then you show the picture to a cast member and you get a button. They move the location of the cutout character daily and if you take a daily selfie and show it to a CM, you get additional stickers on the pin to culminate in a larger prize at the end. They do this at all of the resorts with different characters and themed pins!
We're just focusing on the quick service options because we have the quick service dining plan, but we'll have to try it sometime. It sounds really good!
Hey guys Your boys are getting big, each video I see a change in Jackson. Love how he was helping his dad, show us around the room and his reaction to the hotel that was fun. Love the look of this hotel, totally me, and my fave compared to all I have seen. Not stayed in Disney property yet, but hopefully soon. All best and thanks for another great video to watch. 😊
We have stayed at most resorts - need to stay at grand Floridian, poly, riviera- and fort wilderness. I know most do not care for the Saratoga springs but we have enjoyed our last couple of stays there. My husband’s favorite is the boardwalk.
We love the Boardwalk Inn! I do think I preferred the old design of the rooms to this remodel. The rooms look colder, less comfortable. I know hotels are going with the no carpet look now, but I like carpeting.
What are the odds?!! I was looking at rooms at The Boardwalk for my upcoming visit to Disney at the end of May! I mean, I have been to Boardwalk so many times but only for the food and entertainment, so I thought about staying here next time 😍 I appreciate how you pronounced Ricotta, Jenn.
We haven't stayed there yet. We got moved to Beach Club, dvc side, a few years ago for my birthday, during covid times. Awesome that you have now stayed at all of them. Boardwalk would be an awesome finisher resort to do. Surrey bikes on the list to do as well. Happy late mother's day.
Tim: "Primo...Patio" 😂 It means "first plate". Its the first course of an Italian meal, usually pasta, after the appetizers (antipasti) and before the entrees (secondi)
Tim and Jenn!!!! That is Lucy the Elephant from the South Jersey Shore!!!! Please look in to it, you can still visit inside. Lucy is very popular in this area!!!! 🐘
The dance hall was putting together a zero proof menu of drinks a couple of months ago that might be available now. I wish Flying Fish would bring back the Chocolate Breach dessert that pairs nicely with the new york strip steak.
I asked my brother, who is a fireman in the Orlando area. He said you can get a tour there. You'll just have to ring the doorbell and be like hey can I have a tour. Sometimes there is someone there, but you also have to work around them because they could be on call, but thats the same with all firehouses. It's like russian roulette.
Jenn you are always so pretty but I just had to say that your skin looks a-mazing! Another awesome video from y'all. :) I had no idea this resort existed!
We were upgraded to a Cars Suite at Art of Animation in 2021. It was pretty fantastic. The only negative is the location of the Cars building is the farthest away. Just a long walk.
I remember thinking that everyone was raised the same as me. It was a shock to learn about other families/cultures. Imagine what Jackson is going to think when he finds out other kids don't go to Disney resorts or cruises every other month.
I hope you know how much joy/happiness/excitement your videos bring to people! It seems like so much work to post sooo many videos but it’s truly (for some) SOOOO appreciated and needed 🥹
Loved that little mini me Tim and Jackson moment when Jen said she was “So excited!” And both of them at the same time said “Me too!”
Oliver’s outfit is so cute 🥰. Jackson’s review of the room, oh it’s so nice ❤😂
That view of international gateway of France and the water in the background (pre-skyliner) is where my husband proposed to me in a Tim Tracker tee-shirt. ❤
Hey guys thanks for the.......vlog! Elephant in the Lobby is Lucy. Still in Atlantic City NJ. By the .....Boardwalk! 😊
Margate!
She is actually in Margate. But it's close to Atlantic City :)
Yup, actually in Margate on Atlantic and Decatur Aves on the beach - We live 2 blocks down from her!
Lucy just got renovated recently too i believe
Jenn may have forgotten about those chairs, but I did not... they live rent free in my mind every day
Boardwalk is my favorite. We stay there as often as we can.
I love this so much! I worked at the Boardwalk in housekeeping and it holds such a special place in my heart.
Jackson has gotten to where he is good for making me belly laugh at least 3 times per video. “It looks like a popcorn” and “they have little tiny feet” had me rolling! 😂

Thank you for sharing this hotel with us. It is in a fantastic location. My favorite vlogs are when you are all together as a family ❤

Maybe that room used to be DVC? The empty space was for a table or kitchen and the empty cupboard in the bathroom was for the washer and dryer?
That elephant in the lobby also reminds me of Lucy the Elephant, which is a historic landmark down the Jersey Shore. (In Margate to be exact, which is just south of Atlantic City.) 🐘💚
thats what its depicting.
That beautiful view of France in the international gateway is where my husband proposed to me in a Tim Tracker shirt before the skyliner was there.
Jackson’s excited about everything, because being a kid is exciting 😂👍
I've been thinking of staying at Boardwalk on our next trip so this video is just perfect! I love when you'all stay at Disney Hotels.
Happy belated Mother’s Day Jenn! You are such a great mom to Jackson & Oliver. I was just rewatching the pregnancy announcement and it’s crazy to see how far you have come!
Disney Dining Plan is like a point system. That's the best way to think of it and track it!!
Great vlog Trackers!!! Thanks for sharing!
We love staying at the Boardwalk. Location, location, location!
Love Lucky the Elephant! An icon of my childhood growing up in South Jersey.

I wonder if that little alcove in the bathroom (at 14:50) was for a washer and dryer?

The Cake Bake Shop does serve afternoon tea.
The food and cakes are amazing. I can't wait for you guys to try it.
I'm fortunate to have one close by in Carmel, Indiana. It's delightful. ❤
JENN'S HAIR LOOKS GOOD!
We LOVE the boardwalk! Make sure y’all catch some of the boardwalk entertainment (magicians, circus acts, comedians, etc) in the evening!!!
haha y’all already did! Glad you’re enjoying all the boardwalk has to offer:))
We went there for the character breakfast and ride the bicycles. The resort is modeled after boardwalk towns like Cape May, NJ, named one of Americas best beach towns. We just got back from Cape May, and it was neat to see how well some of the details were done at the resort versus the real thing.

This is my favorite hotel so far. Great pools entertainment and overall beautiful to walk around

Love your video!
We've just made a reservation to stay in the Boardwalk Inn in August 25. Was wondering which room you've booked?
I definitely agree with you Jenn on the skyliner stopping. On my most recent trip to WDW, on a very windy day, I found out that not only do the gondolas sway from side to side and back and forth, they also move up and down a little. Not exactly what you want to feel when up in the air.

did those rooms used to have washer / dryers? that's what that empty not-the-loo space looks like in the bathroom. these rooms look very nice.
That elephant was just refurbished. It's in Margate NJ about an hour from where I live!
Me, too.
29:35 - 😂 The most beautiful view in all of Disney.

Jenn, we love that view too. That’s where we met Tim Tracker that time on October 14, 2019.
Love this video!! I highly recommend the DVC rooms at Boardwalk if you ever get the chance. They are beautiful and so homey. Grew up with Boardwalk as one of my family’s home resorts and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Ahhh I’m so excited. It will be my first time staying at Boardwalk in September! I rented DVC points
The Boardwalk was one of our best stays. Really love the Epcot resorts!
I hope you had a great Mother's Day Jenn and I love the stay cations y'all do and thanks for bringing us along with y'all
The small case might be what is called a train case. Kind of like a carryon for trains from days of old when trains were the thing to use for travel.
Can you please tell me where you found the “Theme Park Pigeon” shirt that was folded in the kids suitcase? We’d love one!
Tip. Packing cubes, Game changer!
Beat me to it!!! I have the travel Vacuum seal bags.

Where is your table fan from that you used at dinner on check in day. Thank you
Have you ever thought of doing one of the other Disney property resort tours, such as the one at Hilton head Island?
I love the skyliner too it’s so fun
Highly recommend packing cubes, they will make your life soooo much easier when traveling!!!
We did do a fire department tour back in 2009. Not sure if they still do it now, but I'm the kids loved it. They were great.

We’ve stayed in the Disney bubble once and I loved it!
Just curious why you didn't show Tratoria Al Forno? That's the best breakfast for foodies. Their poached eggs over polenta is amazing.
We're just focusing on the quick service options because we have the quick service dining plan, but we'll have to try it sometime. It sounds really good!
That elephant hotel is Lucy in Margate on the Jersey shore. It’s still there but no longer a hotel. My dad lives down the street from it
I can’t wait to see the boys on the bike.
Hey guys

All best and thanks for another great video to watch. 😊
what kind of luggage do you all use? they look very deep and have so many pockets!
So happy you are doing quick service as I’ve got two days in September! Jackson face on the skyliner is magical
We have stayed at most resorts - need to stay at grand Floridian, poly, riviera- and fort wilderness. I know most do not care for the Saratoga springs but we have enjoyed our last couple of stays there. My husband’s favorite is the boardwalk.
I always ask for an extra blanket for the bed. That’s the only thing I don’t like about Disney resorts is that there’s no comforter.
lkve that there are three disney hotels with northeast beach themeing. loving the representation

When were yall there? We checked in last Wednesday and checked out this past Saturday.
I'm guessing Fri-Sun cause Jenn said Mothers day event at school.
I think it may be for a scotter ?

IT LOOKS LIKE POPCORN!
Also you can just take the boat from BW to EPCOT to cut the walk out to the skyliner
I always wanted to stay there but too expensive for me. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
The magician has Tim's old mustache😂 I wonder what Jackson thinks of that mustache since I don't know if he knows about dad's.
They have swans at the swolphin
