Option 2…at around act 8, start hoarding all the rares you find but have no use for. Use the chaos recipe. As soon as you kill Kitava in Act 10, use the chaos you’ve made and hit the trade web site. Anywhere fro 10 to 20 chaos will buy you enough gear to get resistance capped and into white maps. Continue to buy gear for the remainder of the league. Craft an occasional stat on your bench in your hideout and your done.
I usually do all the heists before killing Kitava and end up with 50-60 chaos at the end of the campaign. And that is enough to buy decent gear to start mapping. Last 2 leagues I even got lucky to get 1-2 divs during the campaign.
Man it's wild how an essence crafted 2h axe is considered kinda entry tier when even hitting T4+ %Phys is 1/100 and T3+ is 1/200. 1 in 100 Deafenings to hit 2 mods + craft. I wish GGG would make it so crafting Phys weapons wasn't horrible... ;_:
Ah yea you need to settle a bit for entry level. I normally just get a few screaming contempt until attack speed and craft the phys/impale hybrid mod. It is a bit wild they didn't make the weightings a bit better for us in the melee league LOL
I followed a subtractem guide like 5 leagues ago for boneshatter and he showed him hitting a good phys axe and said it should take 5-10d to land phys and attack speed, I plugged that shit into craft of exile before I spent my first 10d and craft of exile said it would be 30d for t3+ phys and attack speed. I waited till I had 50d and didn’t hit it and then just farmed more bought one for 50d that was probably better than what I would have made anyway. Now I know to wait until I’m ready to really invest in a weapon to craft a phys weapon.
trying to get an axe like this last year killed crafting for me, it's like playing slots but everytime you lose you go back to grinding currency/essences and spamming messages to people, auction house may solve a part of this but it still doesn't look too good
Yeah the simplex amulet crafting costs a lot of divines but, if you get a simplex amulet you probably already have hundreds of divs lying around, I think simplex amulet and other experimental bases will be the same or even more expensive than last league, because of the kalandra reflexion stuff. But good video bear man, lookin fresh.
