Next, they will close.
So now criminals just have to make an appointment.
Yup, no more than 2 people are allow.
Oh be real..its all because of the crime
and only from one demographic. If the city cannot recognize that they have no hope of even beginning to address it. They’re just going to pretend that’s not a problem.
The whole bay area is starting to look like a corrections facility. You are either a criminal or a corrections officer.👮👍😈👍
The mainstream media just cannot report the truth. Change in consumer behavior? Go to safe cities run by REPUBLICANS and you'll see plenty of shoppers in the stores. That's a fact.
….Keep out the “smash and grab” riff-raff!!
Demographics are destiny folks.
The sooner everyone realizes this truth we can actually make the world a better place.
Not before.
I just look online and a summer dress is $1,200 on sale. I can't shop a Saks.
Yep saks is only for the rich
Genius, by making appointment, they need your name and phone number, with that, background checks secretly, no criminal record, come on down, criminal record , no appointment for you. 😂😂😂
They will just wait for customers to exit...will not change much
This is not going to stop bull dosing stampeders from going in there and taking stuff
I support them play safe
Why would tourist visit a saks 5th?
Why would people visit Californication?
Bad reporting. Napa and Palo Alto are Saks Clubs, not full line stores. These stand alone stores are modeled after the personal shopping, appointment only suites housed in full line stores.
How exactly does this prevent criminals from just breaking into the front door and grabbing whatever they can....?
That woman just knows blah blah everything lol
All normal stuff in a first world country nothing to see here😂😂😂😂
I don’t blame them .
It will be a much nicer place to shop. I hate crowds. I'll feel much safer. Much more of a luxury experience, less like going to Walmart.
What's next, a credit check for the fitting room?
People don’t understand sacks is not a place too look you have to purchase something that’s why they doing appointments only they need money not window shoppers
@@3DbeautyLove lol
Appt only to return or exchange items after ordering them online. Makes sense business wise.
I can’t believe they left comments on. We all know why your appointment only. People love shopping in person but now and days democrat ran cities are shit….literally in San Fran.
that means we are closing, besides i do not care because going into these stores and if you look a certain way the security guards, loss prevention and salespeople just watch and follow you even if you are not diabolically homeless but have a certain look. i just do all my shopping online and it works and i feel mega comfortable browsing the merchandise from the comforts of my computer
🤣🤣🤣 San Francisco is going down and down and down‼️ 😒😒😒
@qake... Insufferable trolls like you can't afford shop Saks anyway but spew your toxic BS.
Insufferable trolls like you can't afford Saks anyway but spew your toxic garbage.
All you have to do is thank the politicians.
great job for what the governor has done, clear out business, tourist ,job & leave a good smell on on the street. The world can see how proud this Sf city is ,new way of mass-shopping /not shopping, like no other countries .Much thanks to Great leaders & top down, corruption.
Disappointing to see this Fox affiliate drink the KoolAid and not report more on why we all know this is happening in this area
Just say no to certain people!
This is such a racist policy. And effective!
Good their dollars will go elsewhere
Definitely not racist. Theft will cut down and appropriate buyers will continue to patronize
Saks has not been there since the 50s check your facts!
What they said was that Saks has called Union Square its home since the 50's, which is true. Saks opened its first San Francisco store in the Union Square shopping district in 1952 on Grant and Maiden Lane. The building than now houses Hermès. The store relocated to its current location, on Union Square proper in 1981. The stand alone men's store opened in 1997 and closed in 2016.
Let’s ask ourselves what would it take to make utopia now? At this very second? Not some delusional abstract time once we’ve figured out the root causes of a 100 different things. Right now, how can our people be happy, safe and enjoy their lives in peace?
How will this affect black and brown people?
less opportunities to steal
This will suck. No more mass pre-arranged mob shoplifting! How are they going to steal these Louis Vuitton to feed their family as AOC say.
No more free shit from Saks. Sorry!
Or do you just mean how it’ll affect thieves
Let met guess. Next time, shoplifting in SF will be by appointment only as well? Thats why i'm still voting for BIDEN! "WE FINALLY BEAT MEDICARE!" KEEP VOTING BLUE!
Voting blue will NOT result in a better future. I am going to WRITE-IN CONDOLEEZZA RICE for President.
