    Why Indian women's don't go to gym ?
    Ans - kyunki Ghar se permission nahi milti🙂🙂,, ...
    Edit: I have seen lot of people commenting bad things about me and making different assumptions according to their pov about my comment .. so I just wanna tell one one thing for those people who are saying why I'm not allowed to go to gym am I child or what and tried to make fun of me then lemme tell you guys not every family is as progressive as yours , not everyone is as supportive as yours , not every city/village people have the mindset to let the woman of their family live their life as per their choice ..
    Secondly , those who are saying I should start gyming at home -- then lemme tell you "you doesn't know about my family condition, you don't know how many family members I have , is there enough space at my home to do workouts , you guys know right that there should be an enough space to do workouts right ?
    Thirdly , for those who are saying money problem so lemme tell you one more time that I'm not an unemployed, and I can bear my expenses..
    I think I have cleared all the doubts of you guys , so stop commenting about me here , stop giving me your advices , focus on your life , I just commented here about my life , I don't know about you guys ,.. so stop commenting and comparing your situation with mine not everyone lives the same life .. and about what I had commented in the above, cos I have seen here in my town how women has treated by their family about gyming, working out late at night , about there dresses etc . That's why I had commented that ...
    That's all.

      This different time slot is such a 2 edge sword. On one hand, it's difficult for women to manage time according to those slots and on the other hand, no time slots means women who aren't comfortable moving freely around men.

    I have PCOS problems. Few days back I visited a gynac for my PCOS problems. She told me according to recent guidelines women with PCOS are being prescribed to do weight training/ swimming for atleast 3 days a week (45 mins). My mother was hesitant and asked the doctor for alternatives(just Asian mother's things). She said free hands and running won't create much impact but even doing limited weight training also can keep the body fit. A college friend of mine also told me how the she reversed her PCOS with weight training. From next month, after my semester exams, I will be joining a gym. Wish me luck😊

    There is absolutely not 1 but many reasons why women don’t gym .
    I myself have encountered many situations in which men are mostly always dominating the whole gym , making women uncomfortable by constant stares for months, no equality on rules & some of those married father men hit on some females! Like it’s a total place for a women to don’t go . I feel in every city a separate women’s gym must be opened with strict rules that should be followed!

      As far as house hold chores are considered , men do all the heavy-duty tasks inside and outside the house and if you are a working woman then hire a maid contribute to the family.

    I'm a powerlifter and what you mentioned is so accurate!
    When I started working out, I had no idea how to go about it, how to even pick up a barbell but it was a journey, a journey that I did consistently and required hardwork. I went from repping a barbell with no weights to now deadlifting 140 kilos, getting a gold at state level and now prepping for nationals!
    Powerlifting has become my passion!
    And I loved every bit of it! Don't get intimidated by going to the gym and don't compare your body to anyone else's, you're all unique!
    Whatever your reason is for joining the gym, never ever give up on it, trust me, there would be days where you feel like crap and your body is sore and cheating on your meals or quitting sounds like heaven but it isn't worth it.
    All you have is just this one life, don't spend it by just "wishing" things to be different, go out there, make it happen!
    You'll be super proud of yourself and it will instill confidence in you!❤

    I'm weight training since 2019 and it has improved my life sooo much. From menstrual health to sleep quality to appetite. I used to be really under weight at around 41kgs. Today I'm 52kgs with more lean muscle and less body fat percentage comparatively and so much stronger
    And I don't look bulky in any way. But definitely toned
    Most women in our society either doesn't have time or 'permission' or they not comfortable moving freely around guys. Even though I can't relate personally, I definitely understand where they're coming from, after interacting with them for years. In my 5yrs, so many have joined and quit. And if they're young student, the pressure is too much to manage, but thankfully more college girls are joining.
    And only our gym is truly unisex in our area. Rest all have separate time slots for men and women and that makes it more difficult for women to manage in that exact slot of time. But that too is necessary as otherwise women aren't comfortable. One of the reason I'm liking this gym is our trainer is a really good man and he doesn't promote anabolics. Otherwise going to a gym with anabolic steroid users with rage issues ain't my cup of tea tbh

      so many American women who do heavy gym in 20s suffer from various joint issues in 30s because they tortured the body too much, didn't focus on mobility. Gym is overrated in short. Again, talking about grown up women with families.

You can start doing wall push ups anywhere u see a strong vertical wall, u can do incline chest push ups and skipping to lose weight. I don't go out to eat fast-food chain foods or gravitate towards ultra processed/packaged foods, working out goes hand-in-hand with the food you eat. Avoiding sugar is also important. Muscle loss can start after 30+, so strnength training is important for everyone, irrespective of PCOS. And yeah, you don't need a GYM even for strength training. Motivation is all. Also, mahilae lives longer than men despite not going to gym. First create a creepless environment for ladies in gym.

      Pcos can come with or without insulin resistance. You have to check your HbA1c for that. If it's with insulin resistance cardio doesn't help much ; diet and strength training is very important

    • @sh3984-t9e
      @sh3984-t9e หลายเดือนก่อน

      I check HbA1C every 3 months. I am prediabetic with 6+ HbA1C for past 3 years. Recently it's been 5.4. All I did was walk and cardio. And of course, healthy diet is a big part. The experience could be different for everyone. Overall it's very hard to lose weight with PCOS. We need more research on this topics. However, building more muscle to fight PCOS seems like a very absurd correlation. To prevent muscle loss we need strength training, and muscle loss can happen for many reason, including age.

      @@sh3984-t9e building muscle is never absurd . If there an increased muscle mass the overall metabolic rate increases. It's is basic science. If you don't know something don't call it" absurd" It's just ridiculous

    • @sh3984-t9e
      @sh3984-t9e หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@IronMan-ng1nk I said for fighting PCOS it is absurd to say strength training is the preferred way. I said multiple times muscle building is important for everyone. MEN DON'T GET PCOS. Forget PCOS, you yourself mentioned insuline resistance. Sometimes it's better to go beyond basic science. There was a 2020 study published in the Journal of Diabetes Research, that didn't find any correlation between strength training and insuline resistance in U.S. women, but they did find good results in men. Aerobic exercise was not considered. All exercises will help with weight loss, but to say cardio is not preferred is wrong. Insuline resistance is directly proportional to central obesity and increase of visceral fat. For gym gurus, an obese guy coming to gym, do you tell him straight to build muscle or reduce weight with cardio?Why aren't gyms filled with uncles with type 2 diabetes then? Why doctors tell them to reduce weight and walk instead? Yes, when someone old has knee pain, they are recommended weight training. AND PCOS is more pronounced in women under 40, when muscle loss is negligible. Misinformation can cause years of health to people. Also, please read correctly and research from some proper journal studies before saying anything is 'ridiculous'. For PCOS, even it's origin is not yet properly known , because researchers worry so much about women health! No offense, I definitely don't want some men spreading misinformation on such topics just to promote gyms. There are plenty other reasons to promote the same.

    I started pilates to start with strength training, I have abdominal fat. I was indirectly shamed for this so many times by my own trainer, pointing out how I should "eat less" to lose weight, how I'm slow, how I'm not adapting to working out fast, and that it took a toll on my mental health and I had to leave the training eventually. Even thinking about it had started to impact my already fragile self-esteem. Our country is NOT willing to see people, especially women, lead fulfilled lives.

    When I was 17 years old and my big brother was 19 years old, he started to go to the gym regularly as we have many gyms near our home. Simultaneously he was also im that phase of life where the kid is in his/her rebel mode against their respective parents. One day after argument that occurred between my brother and parents they "This is happening all because you are going to the gym, this wouldn't have occurred if you would just do yoga and meditation as we advised you" and then they just continued to be stuck with that conclusion the whole say. No one really talked much about it but ever since then for me trying to do any type of yoga,meditation or exercise insise the home feels weird until I am mostly alone at my home. Trying to even think about approaching parents about going to the gym just makes me go "Agar bada bhai hone ke bhaavajud mere bhai ko ghar me bhevaje ke taane sunne pade, toh choti behen mere baare kya kya ajeeb lagega?".
    I'd appreciate sone advice on this.

    Me and my sister love fitness. I really enjoy the sun outside so I like to run and she loves to do bodyweight exercises. While she's been meaning to get out and I have been trying to learn to strength train to prevent injuries in marathon, both of us recieve equal critique from our extended family. We women are supposed to be toned and fit but without moving around in any way while eating like horses. How is it going to be possible?

    It is not necessary to go to gym unless you dont have space in your house or there is no park nearby. TH-cam has made it accessible to workout at home for free. I began my fitness journey at home during my late teens. I still dont go to gym but have incorporated hybrid workouts indoor and outdoor to keep it fun. I love moving my body and exercise depending on how I feel that day. Working out shouldnt be a chore ladies. Make it fun and keep it slow and steady so as to not lose consistency. Also be aware that results dont show right away so please remain patient
