At 1:00 Ace doesn’t necessarily forgive them, I can’t explain it very well but when he’s saying “it’s alright” it’s meant in a way that he have had enough of everything (Them getting in trouble) Because unlike last time (winter holiday incident) they don’t know about their whereabouts and they couldn’t try helping them… All they could do is sit around hoping that they’re safe. They’re worried, but it’s probably also the feeling of uselessness when they couldn’t do anything about their close friends being missing.
Aaaah… ummm sorry for another the long comment… I really hope it doesn’t come out as negatively. It wasn’t meant as a correction but actually to show how worried Ace and Deuce actually are about them^^ Like seriously they traveled back to school with public transportation (the mirror gate was closed) in the middle of a holiday just to rescue them!!
Their friendship is so underrated and under-appreciated… ;;;;

Ace said something like “It’s still okay when it’s during the winter holiday incident (meaning he did forgive us during the winter holiday), but this time you’re really making us worry, so please give us a break.” I’m not really good at explaining things, so I’m so sorry for my misleading explanation in the video. I think everyone in the fandom just thinks of them as dumb 1 and 2 and nothing beyond there, or how toxic their friendship with Yuu actually is
But what everyone doesn’t realize is that both of them are far beyond that initial toxicity
Sure, they may at first had seen Yuu as a liability or a strange curiosity because of their magiclessness, but they soon started to see Yuu as an actual friend and not their errand kid
I mean, in chapter 4, they literally broke their backs and traveled half a continent just to see if Yuu was alright when they sent them that text. Something that not even Crowley bothered to do
Sure, it may had been played off as a comedic moment. But you don’t travel half a world, on a holiday in the middle of winter no less, to your school located on a remote island with nothing other than basic transportation to get you there just to see if your friend was fine
You have no idea what happened, why they sent you that text, why don’t they answer you back
You are just left with that incredibly vague text that can very well be a prank but you still commit to travel all that distance just to see if your friend was fine
That’s something not many people would do, not unless they truly care about Yuu and wish for their wellbeing
That’s what I call true friends

Yes. If you choose the first choice, you’ll get Ace’s reaction. If you choose the second choice, you’ll get Deuce’s reaction.

When I learned that grin was snatched up my only goal for book 6 was to get him back (i would’ve left everyone else-I was only here for grim) grim will always be my favorite character and seeing the lovable lil chaos cat cry pulled at my heart strings 🥹
