Tbh it could be an easy fix by popping the figure apart like my guy and just getting new pants but the dealbreaker for me is that hard torso piece that limits the ab crunch tbh very cool figure I’m still tempted
i like your review brother and love the choice of background music as well! I received mine yesterday and looks great but your negatives about the figure are spot on
Thanks for watching! I’ve considered a new pair of pants and trying to mod the hands a little, but the wrist gauntlet things might not allow for much movement either way. I wanna give this figure some hope though haha
Same issues here man, how did you get the hands on better? Mine such he can’t even have his wrists bent the slightest without falling off, once I touch them they just fall off
@@RazzyBark I would think so, but I haven’t gotten that far yet. When I took it apart I only disassembled what I could do right at the table. But they’re swivels at the calf so I would think they could be just heated and popped off
Great review. Thank you. Does anybody think the fingers look like twinkies or a stack of Krispy Kreme donuts or am I just hungry? Also, I think his scale is a bit small. Disappointed after paying almost $100
Wassup cap, i remember someone did a pants (change/mod) for the Mix max studios stab of hades (3rd party deathstroke) had the same issue of limited articulation on the legs. I think that video still has the link for the stretchy pants for the figure
The stiff pants limiting articulation sucks, but even Mezco has made figures with soft goods that limit articulation. Being first part or third party has nothing to with it. I am more often more satisfied with my third party figures, than the first party ones. A new pair of pants is relatively easy fix for this figure. Probably wouldn't even be hard to buy blac, elastic fabric and make one yourself. At the least, you can take the figure apart and change the pants. If that wasn't the case, I would probably cancel pre-order. I was warned about the hands being difficult and advised to heat them up swapping. Yours may be falling out easily due the peg not being fully inserted.
@@jrivv2239 the only Mezco figure I have with non-spandex style pants is Joker, and he’s able to kick pretty freely. I’ve definitely considered buying a different pair of pants since the figure can be popped apart and reassembled without too much hassle, so that’s definitely something I’m gonna look into.
If the pants were the only issue then this would be salvageable, you can get 1/12 scale pants what work for articulation on Amazon or ebay relatively easy. However, the hands not being easy to change and pose makes it a deal breaker for me. I was considering grabbing this guy, but I'm glad I didn't. Thanks for the review Cap!
Yeah I’ve been considering doing something about the pants, but I’m still not sure exactly what to do with the hands and the pegs not quite being right. Sucks that it’s such a problem
@@benjiman092 gotcha. Now that someone else told me that the other head is slightly less angry, I can see the difference between them and can use them both haha. Thanks for the insight!
Great review. But I think ima pass on this figure . I don't like how the hand pegs r short and the pants are just bad but the figure looks good over all .
If this was a mezco figure I gurantee you it would still be in a warehouse or not delivered yet to the retailer. Lol
@@thegunslinger8806 haha I’d have two more years to wait
@@CaptainMcKayRandom right, I got two and I'm guessing I'll find a new job before they ever get here.
The limited leg articulation is a deal breaker for me. Damn, I really wanted to get this figure too! Great review!

"And here is Vader". 🤣Great review! I'm not huge into figures anymore, but seeing how good the articulation is on the figure is quite impressive.
Any similarities to any other character are purely coincidental! 😆 You're the best, Cap!

Anyone got a recommendation on.whatbpants to use?

do you have issues with the hands keep falling off? I can barely get the hands to stay in

I took the armor off and the wrist work fine, so I’m going to dremel the armor.
I love how Gorro kicked him down 😂😂😂

14:35 ok but that figure is actually oversized since in mkx, goro was reduced in size to fit the screen and be playable

ive been wanting soft goods MK figures but its lame to see these aint it. have you handled the storm 1/6 sub zero.
No! Those 1/6 figures look gorgeous but I couldn’t swing the space or budget for those. Still love how they looked though!
Ok thank God you used the good Goro
BTW WHAT KILLED THE DINOSAURS
AHHHHHHHHH
The Ice Age
I didn’t get the clear head with mine, doesn’t even look like there’s anywhere it would be placed in the packaging
Mine was in a tiny plastic bag, I wonder if it was a different version or something? Not too sure!
Figure seems to be a bit of a mess. Maybe worth it for Vader to drop him on his head.
Haha yeah man. Sucks when you wanna really like something and it doesn’t live up to expectations
