Agreed. The underlying body (once you get him out) is outstanding. It’s the clothes (specifically the pants) that are way too restrictive. Also, the neck covering and forearm gauntlets need to be modified to enable better head articulation and improve the hand / wrist pegs.
Nope. According to 5k the company (JMToys) is going to issue replacements in 1-2 months. If that comes in and is worth it, I will absolutely make a follow up and push it for a Scorpion (and others)
I was so tempted to get this. Really sucks they didnt bother to fix the issues and i assume just decided that the brand would carry sales. Hope if they do more characters they do better.

Greetings from Fuquay Varina: Have you used Kiki's fix loose joints? It works very well in the joints of figures that lose posture over time. I know you shouldn't do it in a new figure but if this is the only problem I think it's okay. The figure looks very good, it just needs to fix the joints. LOL 🤘😹🤘🎸
I don't think I've ever watched a youtube video with as many ads as this one has had. I swear there been atleast 5 ads breaks each containing muitple ads so far and I'm just in abit over 8 minutes.

Back when I broke my arm when I was 12, the doctor told me I needed to regularly move my fingers or I'd end up with hot dog fingers. Maybe that's what happened to poor Sub Zero here? 🤷♂️
I wonder if youre supposed to pull the head off another figure and put it on that spinal chord? I think they mistakenly made the Ko and forgot to release the non KO.
Hey at least you got some cool weapons for the McFarlane Sub-Zero, but $85 for that should be a crime and the team behind it should really reflect on it.

When I received this steaming pile of turd i couldn’t believe how crappy it was and couldn’t even move his legs for Heaven’s sakes lol!
Mortal Kombat X and injustice 2 subzero versions were the best due to being fast in combos and fun especially in tournament plays also i remember i used to have Mk 9 Scorpion and Sub-Zero big figs and the Klassic ones version Sub-Zero, Scorpion,Sektor,Cyrax,Cyber smoke but too bad i sold them all back in 2018 to pay some bills 😢😢😢.
It sucks because MKX is my favorite MK game and this my favorite Sub-Zero design, as well as him being my favorite with Scorpion. I'm a big MK fan and I always welcome more figures so I was excited for this release. I actually really like the sculpt, and I feel like the articulation could be great, but the decision made with the pants as well as the problems with putting in his hands and head is honestly so lame. I think this company has potential considering they made an amazing sculpt, but it's clear they need to improve on some things if they make a new release.

Agreed. The underlying body (once you get him out) is outstanding. It’s the clothes (specifically the pants) that are way too restrictive. Also, the neck covering and forearm gauntlets need to be modified to enable better head articulation and improve the hand / wrist pegs.
I got this for customizing, and was hoping this would lead to a scorpion being made next but i dont have high hopes that will happen anymore
Nope. According to 5k the company (JMToys) is going to issue replacements in 1-2 months. If that comes in and is worth it, I will absolutely make a follow up and push it for a Scorpion (and others)
This actually makes me sad. I love mortal kombat and wanted an awesome 6 inch subzero.
Me too!!
Are there links to show custom fixes 😅
i don't know
I was so tempted to get this. Really sucks they didnt bother to fix the issues and i assume just decided that the brand would carry sales. Hope if they do more characters they do better.
5k (the site I got it from) told me the company (JMToys) will be issuing replacements in 1-2 months. We shall see. I will absolutely make a follow up if I get a replacement.
Greetings from Fuquay Varina:
Have you used Kiki's fix loose joints? It works very well in the joints of figures that lose posture over time. I know you shouldn't do it in a new figure but if this is the only problem I think it's okay. The figure looks very good, it just needs to fix the joints. LOL
🤘😹🤘🎸
Hello. The joints aren’t the problem at all. They are actually fantastic. You’ll see in the video
Hey, look on the bright side you have a sub-zero oufit that you can use on any of the more Superior 1/12 bodies to make your very own figure.😅
lol
Time to donate his clothes to the dollie Goodwill (accessories bin) for better toys to enjoy! lmao
Hahah yeah
A fatality to be sure
Yeah lol
I don't think I've ever watched a youtube video with as many ads as this one has had. I swear there been atleast 5 ads breaks each containing muitple ads so far and I'm just in abit over 8 minutes.
Now 6 ad breaks at 10 minutes. This is straight up weird now.
I don't know what to say. The length of the ad breaks and the quantity of breaks is all dependent on YOUR youtube history,
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Right, I wasn't talking negative about your review just so you know. I was just amazed lol
Maybe some other company that’s better at this stuff will give it a try. I should learn how to make toys. 🤔
@@EpykkDyzastur we need it
It arrived to me a few days ago and my reaction instantly was “this is the worst thing I have ever bought”
I really feel scammed with it
@@CIasslc totally sucks
I’ve heard so many mixed things about what 5K toys puts out and I’ve stayed away from them just in case I didn’t want to deal with potentially sub par product. I guess I’m glad I did 💀
5ktoys is just a store. No different than buying a bad figure from Target. If you haven’t seen many of my videos you’ll learn that I cover a LOT of 5k stuff and this is the first time I’ve experienced this kind of figure.
9:50 he can barely even t pose lmao
It’s bad
What is that jubilee figure in the background?

me in sub zero cosplay lolno kickin here lol
lol!
This is most def an in-box collector only purchase. Don't open the box unless you're into hotdog fingers and sausage thumbs.
Hahaha
Back when I broke my arm when I was 12, the doctor told me I needed to regularly move my fingers or I'd end up with hot dog fingers. Maybe that's what happened to poor Sub Zero here? 🤷♂️
"Here is Subzero! Now Plain Zero!" This saddens me.
Haha it sucks
I wonder if youre supposed to pull the head off another figure and put it on that spinal chord?
I think they mistakenly made the Ko and forgot to release the non KO.
lol!
"hehehehe so stupid" 😂
😂
Glad you review it. I'm safe :D Thanks
Haha
Hey at least you got some cool weapons for the McFarlane Sub-Zero, but $85 for that should be a crime and the team behind it should really reflect on it.
totally
is there a scorpian
@@AmirkhanJaximbetov no
A master at his craft, thank you fine sir.
Haha thank you
Man i wanted this soooo badly.. hahaha. This just popped up in my feed and I'm glad I didn't just buy it all those 50 times I looked at it, drooling over it. You've saved me a bunch of times with figures like this that I think I want. Hahaha good ole nostalgia for the save
It sucks, but glad I could help
Bro I am so happy you made this video 😂!!! I am a huge fan and supporter of the awesome 3rd party action figure companies on 5ktoys and Toyzmetaverse and usually for good reason! When I received this steaming pile of turd i couldn’t believe how crappy it was and couldn’t even move his legs for Heaven’s sakes lol!
It's definitely an upsetting way to spend 85
Never got a 5k toys fig, is it 50+$
@@Gazz-BaaZnitch 5ktoys is a store that sells many brands of items
Mortal Kombat X and injustice 2 subzero versions were the best due to being fast in combos and fun especially in tournament plays also i remember i used to have Mk 9 Scorpion and Sub-Zero big figs and the Klassic ones version Sub-Zero, Scorpion,Sektor,Cyrax,Cyber smoke but too bad i sold them all back in 2018 to pay some bills 😢😢😢.
@@AshWilliams-v3e oh dang!
cheesy fries. and a johnny video 🗿
Yummy
You may don't like it, but I would make a great upgrade work on this bad boy. ^^
go for it
It sucks because MKX is my favorite MK game and this my favorite Sub-Zero design, as well as him being my favorite with Scorpion.
To go so hard on certain parts of this is the most confusing part to me
@NostalgiaUnboxed It's kinda depressing because Mortal Kombat needs more figures that aren't just the pallette swap costumes so I always welcome more modern designs, and I really wanted this figure to be good
@@JustinJohnson-vc1gr same 💔
Jeez, and we thought the fox was bad from super 7. Thanks for taking that hit and showing us. Hope the wolverine has better chance 🤔🫡
Luckily that’s a different studio
I ALMOST ordered this just to have it but for the price I can't justify it with how terrible it is. It really is a shame
Totally
I was tempted to get this and review it but couldn't bring myself to buy it.
Save the money
it kinda hurts case I wanted a sub zero from mkx badly as a figure
Absolutely
How come u never reviewed the sentinel spider man noir
Because I don’t have it
Then what's that at the back
@@thedarkestknight2009 Miles
Dang... I was hoping this company would eventually pick up where Storm left off and make some of the missing characters Storm never got to.
Same
Crap...I bought it as well, I won't even take it out of the package now. it looked so cool too, thanks for the review, you had this madhatter had that dumb krang Android body thing😄 I hope the end of the year brings us some better figures
@@anthonybianchi3726 haha two bad figs for 12 months isn’t too bad. Hopefully it stays that way. I told 5k about the broken wrist and they said the company is making replacements (whatever that will really mean) in 1-2 months
Im old enough to remember that subzero origin game. Loved it
So hard!
This needs a version 2.0 maybe it will raise the price but
Fix the hands
Paint them better
And sort out the ability to kick
Otherwise it looks great
So close
I had hopes for this
I nearly died from laughter
Within 5 minutes
Head sculpts get a meh
The soft goods looked pretty good
Hand pegs were sad
My heart goes to you

horrible figure
Thank you for the review!
A beautiful poem
@@NostalgiaUnboxed thank you again kind sir!
Bro no way I see this after I just ask my make-a-wish for it 😭
@@T-Brandknight wrong wish
Is there any Mk figures that are any good, like maybe McFarlane toys? And I have been looking for specifically cheap but good looking doom statues of like the slayer or a demon, idk though.
Best bet are the Storm Collectibles for now
Is the alternate head hole smaller so you can attach the spine part on it? That way you can display it as a ripped head fatality - which might be only thing this figure is good for. A dead Sub-Zero.
That being said, wow, this figure sucks.
Unfortunately it won’t work. Other reviewers had different inserts in the alternate head or missing altogether
@@NostalgiaUnboxed That somehow makes a bad figure even worse! Thanks for the reply!
I literally had this in my cart to pre-order but another figure caught my eye so I waited... glad I did.
Glad you did too
I wish to do content like you some day, great quality man.
That's very kind, but wish to do content like YOU some day (start now)
This sub zero figure design is from mortal Kombat 9 game also called mortal Kombat it's a reboot of the series
That is incorrect. This is from X

ok
Sub-Zero was always my favorite as well. I remember finally finding the Hasbro figure at Kaybees. It stinks that this figure doesn't deliver.
Yeah 💔
The same company will make comic version of The Dark Knight Return, Batman and Joker set. I would have pre-order this set if they were coming from a different brand.
I know. And the Captain America *looks* really good
I remember watching the announcement of this figure on Instagram and it really got me hyped, after watching this video i really don't know what to say
We all feel the pain of a broken heart now haha
I would love to see a TH-cam short of him barely in any poses 😂. His trying to kick but can’t kick kick
Maybe I should have. It's so time consuming to do that stuff for other videos and I was just to made at this with the hands
Oohhh I almost got this one, thanks man this is a huge warning for me 😂
Glad I could help
Oh man. I almost bought it. The cloth pants stopped me. Cloth pants for figure that is going to be played with is a no no for me.
I have had several with cloth pants that work incredibly well. This is the exception
everyone burns out on the IP before they make a Sindel. it bums me out lol
Maybe one day
I ordered JM002 Western Gunman Cowboy (Not Woody from Toy Story), and then watched this. Well... yeah.
They should have never made that one either lol
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Is it that bad too?
@@Christopher_Vose oh. I don’t know. I just thought it looked awful and had some poor choices for it, but who knows? Haha. I hope it’s good.
@@NostalgiaUnboxed I mostly got it because I wanted a more realistic complimentary Woody for my S.H. Figuarts Alpha Suit Buzz Lightyear.

Just subbed I create content myself looking forward too watching. It’s a good sign because you look like a Spider-Man variant and I’m all for it bro
hahaha, yeah, I have been told since the first Tobey Spiderman that I looked like him lol
Looking at the pic on 5k the weapons look better the paint on everything looks better. They really hooked up the promo shots.
the weapons just don't have the front on them in the photos. To me, that makes them look like water and not ice
it's like the coolest figure that they messed up so bad too! mkx is popsicle's coolest design ever and i was so hyped about it :[ it makes sense though, they showed pretty much no progress on him besides the pre-order thumbnail popping up until release.
everybody say, "thank you mr. jonathan unboxed!"
Super7 only shows renders, so at least these people had real items 😂
