BUT, when listening again with my Beyerdynamic studio headphones, I better liked the Focurite recording the best! The way you listen makes a HUGE difference on the result of this test, which is cool to realize :) Keep making great videos ;)

Scarlett still great in 2021. If you trying to go bigger apollo twin ...solid state logic ssl is really great interface as well but they cost more money.
This was really interesting! I think the Mackie was the clear winner, with the features, neat included stuff, and obviously the superior sound quality! The runner up to that is difficult. I think, just talking about sound quality, it was between the M-Audio (which surprised me) and the Focusrite. However, I think I would go with the Focusrite, just for the all software included!
I did NOT like the 1st recording, but 2 and 3 were immediately my favorites. The 4th I really did not like, 5 - the Beringer for my surprise - sounded ok for me. I am glad about the fact, you and me prefer the PreSonus Bundle. Your opinion is a benchmark for what I buy! Not the final mark, but a big one! Did you know: I use Studio One and with version five you can perform with clips like in Live. That is very new! The PreSonus HD7 are my open headphones right next to my Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm. OK, the Beyerdynamics help me more, but you really can work with the HD7 by PreSonus! Is the PreSonus ATOM SQ on your radar? It is conceived for Studio One AND Ableton Live. Maybe you ´ll check it out and make a video of it? Anyway! PROPS AND LOVE FOR YOUR WORK!!!

The blind test was veryyy difficult but I settled on mic 2. Lo and behold mic 2 was the presonus mic which is the mic I bought a few years ago. I also agree that with the music involved, the mackie mic was the best and sounded most professional. If I knew about this mic I would’ve definitely paid a little more for it over the presonus. The guitar recordings for the presonus was actually very interesting, very quiet. I’d love to update my AI because I find the presonus can be a hit or miss when adjusting the knobs to affect the input sounds but it gets the job down and the mic has flattered me and it truly does come flat which makes it fun to work with in Logic. I’m glad I made a decent decision back then but I definitely would’ve bought the mackie set. Thank you ! ❤️🙏🏾
Question though: Were the microphones tested as shown in your video? All together at the same time? If so, I would say the test might not be conclusive. Even some very expensive microphones are very sensitive regarding slight off-axis positioning and proximity effect. 5-10 cm difference in mouth distance can have a huge impact on low end response. Therefore the whole spectral dynamics response can be altered.
I can truly recommend the Mackie condenser microphone if you're on a budget, I think it's the best decision you can make. I've used it with a audiobox itwo and a clarett 2 pre.
Honestly, Studio One may not be as popular as other DAWs but it has the best workflow and plugins are top class for mixing. You can find great tutorials by Joe Gilder. By the way, amazing video. Focusrite is great this is why its bestselling. Go for it. However if ur dedicated to mixing and recording get a good mic like MXL or AKG and headphones Audio Technica M40X.

I think for my vocals it sat well in the mix, but if you record other voices or other types of songs, you may really miss the fullness of the lower frequencies.

I think the Focusrite sound best, next Mackie and M Audio, next Presonus, and last Behringer, but i think is because the microphone. But i think the difference is very little. All Audio interfaces seems equal good.

I recorded an album with a U-Phoria UMC22 - it did an excellent job
I use UMC 1820 and ADA8 for 16 inputs - and its a great low budget solution, these Midas preamps are great.
The interface is good, but the mic and headphones....I didn't like too much.

Great video, personally I have an Komplete Audio 2 interface from Native Instruments, works just fine, and I recently got an AT2020 Mic to go along with (I already have AT headphones), now I just got to do the work !

To me Beringer mic sounded very nicely sparkly and detailed. I'm listening with sennheiser hd560s.

I think the Focusrite sound best, next Mackie and M Audio, next Presonus, and last Behringer, but i think is because the microphone. But i think the difference is very little. All Audio interfaces seems equal good.
True, especially when you add effects to the vocals, its very difficult to hear the difference.
