Bro I just want to say thank you for this video. I followed your steps and was able to get the whole part of the stuck boot out thank you for this!!!!!
Great video. This just had this happen to me on a 2012 Grand Caravan. Of course it is a rear plug boot that is stuck. Top of the coil came off. I was figuring this is trhe way to get it out, but always nice to see how someone else has handled it.
The lubricant is very effective after the pick creates a hole to go under the rubber boot and stops the boot from getting suctioned/stuck back down. The lubricant gets between the boot and spark plug to make lifting easier. I should have tried Uncle Mark's method first, lol.
So I had this same thing happen. I removed the debris from around the plug and then was able to remove the old spark plug. It squeaked a few times as it turned but it came out nicely. I’ve been trying to put a new spark plug in but I can’t seem to get it to grab the threads. Any idea why this is happening ?
Hello sir, i HAVE A LEXUS RX300 2001, I may want to ask you, the spark plug boot wore out but the problem is , the boot got cut almost in the middle where I can't get it out no matter what. the part where the hardest part of the plastic siezed inside. I lubricated it , tap it with long screw driver, I drilled it . but it won't even moved. I'm stucked. What is your suggestion to solve this? Please help. your Avid fan Joe. I'm not a mechanic but I was able to remove the the plenum , and etc. I don't eve know the names. and the problem is the # 3 spark plug . Please help. Thank you in Advance.

Thank for watching. I would to look into it.
It want come out
What kinda spray lube are you using?
Penetrating oil or WD-40 would work.
So if you liked my comment, wouldn't that possibly mean that you have something to say about it ?
Is easy to talk to talk to talk when you don't show it literally how it's done.
Cant You Just Remove The Spark Pllug To Pull It OFf
There’s a rubber piece that broke off from the ignition coil. He can’t put a socket in there without taking the rubber out
Thanks so much you are a lifesaver
