Absolutely beautiful. With your music for SPV3 and now Installation 01... You guys are boldly going places in the Halo universe where Bungie and 343 wish they could. It fits right in with Martin O Donnell's work yet somehow... It feels like it's in its own complete universe, where it can be both a standalone and a companion to the Halo universe.
Simply Garza bungie made the halo universe nothing can beat old halo but this is really good but I bugs me that people are making a side game for Halo where halo 6 might come out soon I don't know I think we are all tearing halo apart now days I think halo 6 might be the last official halo title I hope installation 01 is good but it even being made freaks me out #savehalo

Spartan assault's entire ost and Halo 5's "The Trials" sound very halo like.
I have to put this out there. This music is easily some of the best of heard in a pretty long time. That's saying something. I listen to hardcore composers often, and I've heard some of the best out there. This music easily outmatches most of it in my honest opinion. Even Two Steps From Hell has a hard time comparing (one of my favorite artists ever by the way). Yet your music has given me such inspiration (and goosebumps to boot). It's hard to compete with something like this, and I find myself playing this music alongside my scifi games often just to give it extra omf. Keep up the good work. I love your music and I wanna hear more. Expect me to tell all my friends about you.

It’s amazing how you were able to capture the struggle, the desperation and the tenacity of the human race as they hold on to their existence. This is beginning to sound like an actual Halo soundtrack that holds onto the true Halo spirit.

It's odd- it's so natural and orchestral but also manages to have a weird techno and digital side to it. It blends so well, and honestly it would work so well in a city environment much like ODST. The picture for the video represents it perfectly. Another great job from Jafet.

This captures the wistful imminence of death in the ODST saga perfectly, like i can feel how they've resigned themselves to demise on the battlefield- they know they cannot come back from it. Instant subbed.
Why why WHY can't we support Installation 01's development through donations? Scummy move, Microsoft, banning Soon Studios from making ANY revenue from this. Very disappointed.

I just couldn't stand having the loud af version along the other nicely mixed and mastered tracks. Ofc the first version was all my fault and had nothing to do with seamus master. Now guys please give a chance to my non Halo content cuz remember that after we finish the I01 Soundtrack there wont be more Halo content.

This is amazing, its bringing back old memories in new ways. This is what the games need, they dont need to repeat the same things, make something new that matches the feel, dont bribe us with nostalgia, give us something that will be nostalgic

Jafet Meza Wait, you like Halo 4's soundtrack? It's good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it hit it's mark. With the old soundtracks, I can vividly picture each track paired with each encounter. Halo 4 didn't offer many standout tracks. The gameplay didn't help lol
What are your thoughts on it?
I love it and its what we needed. Halo Music was always about evolution and blending of different techniques and Marty and Neil nailed that. The problem with Neil's music is that it based around the new 343 Lore and is composed around all the character development you dont get to see ingame causing the player to be unable to relate to what he's listening and viewing. However Marty always was like fuck it it sounds cool I'll probable shove it somewhere. H4 has amazing tracks and amazing sounds they just can't shine within the game like the Og trilogy did but that's because OG trilogy didnt give a fuck about the meanings of the tracks and how the motifs would relate until H3 and the Sacred Icon suite of H2.
Jafet Meza Well, Halo CE didn't have the room to use motifs for it's tracks. It was the first game in the series (keep in mind that Halo CE had the simplest story of the trilogy too).
Halo 2 and 3 did it well though, establishing certain riffs and instruments for certain characters/factions, even using tracks like Heavy Price Paid and Respite to convey the more nuanced themes of the story.
I wouldn't say that Halo 2 didn't care for the underlying purpose of each track, it was purposeful, like Halo 3. CE still has a great soundtrack too.
Halo 4's was certainly underutilized, but because the character arcs were rushed and the gameplay sucked, it didn't have a chance to shine.
However, keep in mind that Halo 4's style was so drastically different, that it didn't sound like Halo for the most part. Halo 3: ODST and Reach sounded much more like Halo, yet they still were their own flavors.

Jafet Meza It was this movie made on location on a major city on Harvest by Scott Riley about a galactic law enforcer who hunts down rogue mechanical soldiers who've stopped obeying commands. Wasn't very well received upon its first release, but it gained a strong following for its astounding visual effects and themes of questioning one's own identity. And its soundtrack by Is van Gell is one of the greatest things ever created. It stars Harry Fordson, Shan Yang and Ruth Gere Howard in the main roles, some of their finest performances, might I add. It eventually gave rise to a sequel, "Fore Runner 2559" which was unanimously praised but didn't do too well at the box office.

yes FL studio and kontakt libraries. I don't use any kind of loops tho I like to arrange everything myself

It...it's good and all...but it doesn't feel like Halo. It doesn't give that feeling of Halo. It's a great soundtrack don't get me wrong, but it's not Halo.
That's kinda the intention tho. I01 Soundtrack is designed to be it's own thing and to experiment with the Halo formula :p

Ah, I see how you like to experiment with this music, and give it a special flair. I admire you for that.
But...
I think you're taking it too far. When I play a Halo game, I want to hear the music that makes me feel like a legendary android mowing down hundreds of enemies, alien or machine, on a world like a ring with no end. The music that makes me feel like the world is crumbling down around me. The music that tells me three words: Finish the Fight.
But this music...this doesn't give me that feeling. It gives me the feeling of an endless expanse. It makes me feel like I am floating in this expanse. A nebula here, an asteroid there...surrounded by many the intimidating gaze of billions of stars. No allies...no friends....no family...just emptiness. This piece of music also tells me three words: You Are Alone.
This doesn't feel like Halo. It doesn't fit into Halo. This is not the music I want to be greeted by when I boot up Installation 1. I don't want a fan-made, Multiplayer-only, First person shooter to tell me I am alone.
