As far as I remember, I've listened to O'Donnell's work for 10000 times. But I am very impressed about Kazuma. He did a perfect job to combine old and new halo music (and he probably even made the songs more exciting). I am a Halo fan since the first one came out and even a greater fan of the music. Yeah, you get a code if you played Halo MCC or Halo 5, or you can just win it in a timed event. The whole Halo cross-promotion thing is a little weird... not that I'm complaining!
Lol it makes driving so much more epic in Forza. Especially because I didn't realize it was Halo until it picked up in the middle and by then I was on my final lap in a race and it was getting really intense.
Coming back a decade later, I feel like Halo 5 was almost exactly what this piece symbolized right here. Pays tribute to the original but adds something new and different. Some loved it, some hated it. Me personally I thought Halo 5 was an overall great game and I'm a bigger Halo fan than 99% of the bandwagoners calling the story lame.
How about: The Trials of Fireteam Osiris So the story goes that Osiris, a guardian from the future has replaced Locke in Fireteam, coincidentally, Osiris and have completed many missions but after Buck dies, he becomes anti-social and goes back to the future where he starts an event called Trials of Osiris where he wants others to feel the pain of losing something so close to them
When I heard this battling through all the forerunner soldiers and the warden eternal I seriously got goosebumps. Best halo theme second to the original!
Xcwaterboy Well it was just that part of the game. Up until that point I felt like "eh, they seem to be trying to make me feel like i'm playing Halo still ... I'm not but, hey...." But then I heard this piece as I was like "HOLY FUCKING SHIT IM PLAYING FUCKING HALO FUCKING FIVE HOLY SHIT!!!! OMG FUCK!!!!" So yeah Kazuma Jinnouchi is awesome and made the game for me.
No disrespect to Neil Davidge, but Kazuma should have been the composer from the beginning of the new Reclaimer series. This guy nails it. Perfect successor to Marty O'Donnell.
I actually liked his rendition on "Forerunner Themes" because it sounded strange, weird, and new. His composition on the Human and Covenant was missing the classical motifs for me however.

High school graduation music right here!!! I lost my shit when that song played towards the end of the game. Amazing halo game, one of the best in a very long time
I love how the snuck this into Forza, when I heard it I lost my shit because I saw they had a warthog and halo horns so I hoped they had a halo radio station but this was just as good, ya feel me?
+thedarKnight2008 Well the term "Guardians" has been in halo for a long time. For example in Halo 2 or 3 if you fell off the map in multiplayer it would say "INSERT NAME HERE has been killed by the Guardians" or if you went out of bounds in Halo reach for example and either the soft-kill/Hard-kill zone marker kills you it would say it as well.
Kryin Hydraxis Ooh ya that is true. Just the other day I went too far out in Snowbound and I got killed by Guardians. Any idea what are they actually in the story? If not, guess I just have to wait until I play Halo 5.
none of his songs are memomrable though like they were in halo 4, like hum me ONE song that stuck in your head from halo 5, you simply can't. he did worse in this game than in halo 4.
Final part of the Halo Movie: "The Trials" playing: 0:00 Master Chief comes throw a last door in High Charity. The next room is pure darkness. 0:08 The door closes. Darkness is seen. 0:15 a sequence of lights start showing on the floor, and mark a path of about 100 meters long to the front. At the end a round plataform is iluminated from the ground. 0:30 Master Chief starts walking carefully trough it, holding his Carbine. 0:39 The whole place starts being iluminated. 0:46 The place takes form and a huge crowd, that start shouting, is shown arround a floating arena, which is in the middle. 0:54 Truth is sitting at the very end, right in front of Master Chief. 1:01 The crowd is shouting, there is a lot of joy, like when a huge event is about to start. 1:08 Master Chief finally arrives to the circled platform. Everybody keeps shouting of joy. 1:16 Truth: There he stands... (Shouting Crowd) 1:21 Truth: The "Demon" Everybody shouts louder. 1:24 Truth: You have been brave, and have come to me... 1:29 Truth: "To die" 1:31 There is a tense atmosphere, everybody is shouting at Master Chief, insulting him. Chief is looking around, silent. 1:39 A face appears; looks angry. Tartarus comes from behind the Prophet. 1:46 The Lord Brute comes down to the arena. 1:49 Grabs his Fist of Ruckt and smash it to the ground. Everybody shouts of joy. 1:54 Truth: Let the fight 1:58 The screen then divides on 3 parts, the first is showing Master Chief and Tartarus facing each other on the platform. The second one shows the Captain's face, who is thinking what to do with the Battle that they are loosing on the ground and how to save Master Chief. The 3rd screen shows a crying Dare inside the crashed airplain hidding from the Inquisitor. 2:00 Truth: Begin! 2:02 "HALO" on the screen. Credits - Ending and "The Trials" playing. If you liked it please give it a thumbs up. If you want to understand the story better please visit the "Blue Team" video and read my comment, which is also the previous scene of this.
You can find answers in that one I think. Wait nvmd that’s in an Osiris mission after you ride the scorpion and find a crashed pelican with that and other useful things to help
Now if only they'll find a true successor to Joe Staten's writing skills. Seriously though, Kazuma has done an insanely good job, especially considering what he had to live up to!
Both of them could actually work on Halo again at this point. Marty is a free agent and Joe actually works at Microsoft. Only issue is that Marty has been working on Golem for 100 years and Joe has been working on Crackdown for 100 years. Luckily, Halo Infinite still seems like it's a ways off so maybe there's hope.
I think the first mission has this incredible cinematic feeling to it, as the epicly composed music kicks in and (with H5 being my first halo game) running into these bad-ass-lookimg super-sci-fi crawlers. Such a vivid memory.
Dear Humanity, we regret being alien bastards, we regret coming to earth, and we most definitely regret that the corps just blew up our raggedy ass fleet! Ooh-ra

I'm glad they brought back a lot of the classic Halo themes.
They only brought back 1.
Two at least. The original theme song and ghost or reach/arbys/covenant theme on the song scavengers
Slade Wilson the Mercenary dont forget the odst too since buck is in there its basically a theme for arby chief locke and buck as they all have history
You can also hear pieces of Covenant Dance from Halo 1 in the intro.

Halo is like the Star Wars of video games. The story is good, the visual effects are astounding. And the music is nostalgic as fuck. Haha
and they both also have a second trilogy that sucks ass but at least the music is still good
+Joshua Guerrero Ain't that the truth.
+divius98 lets hope they pull a star wars where the 7th part of the series ends up bringing back the series to its greatness
+Joshua Guerrero Yeah, and in Halo 7 they kill Chief, like Han
And like Star Wars, a second trilogy has been started on which is a little shitty (Story and canon wise) but it's Halo so we love it

343 made a lot of mistakes but this rendition of Halo’s theme is certainly not one of them.

I've never played any Halo, just saw Halo 5 Angry Review and came here! Amazing soundtrack!
If there was a Halo movie in theaters, this theme would honestly be great for the end credits.
2:17 to 3:52...... gosh i felt so nostalgic hearing this, gave me chills
High school graduation music right here!!! I lost my shit when that song played towards the end of the game. Amazing halo game, one of the best in a very long time
ehhh, i thought the campaign was alright. this was definitely my favorite part. best multiplayer halo though
Reach wasn't a very long time before H5.
Thank you very much just what i needed. The Trials. Halo 5 Soundtrack. Damn i love it.
I love how the snuck this into Forza, when I heard it I lost my shit because I saw they had a warthog and halo horns so I hoped they had a halo radio station but this was just as good, ya feel me?
*Halo isn't dead, its just MISSING in action*
This goes INSANE
The Trials? Fireteam Osiris? Destiny-Halo crossover confirmed.
+Hydra Tommy Are you forgetting GUARDIANS? :p
+Kryin Hydraxis Which has been replaced by the Architects in Destiny.
Gaden Kerensky Good to know, I haven't played destiny so, yeah XD
NEW YEARS EVE 2020
0:00 - 1:00 "So glad this year is finally over!"
1:01 *"TUTORIAL COMPLETE" appears in the sky*
Kazuma, Marty O'Donnel's successor
+Master Chief Petty Officer Spartan John-117 That's totaly true
No one will ever touch what Marty did but this guys pretty good...
+Justin Gill Yep Marty was the greatest
He was. A true legend
none of his songs are memomrable though like they were in halo 4, like hum me ONE song that stuck in your head from halo 5, you simply can't. he did worse in this game than in halo 4.
Modern HALO my friends!! This is going to be the best ever...19 more days!!
In 100 years this is going to be considered classical music along side Beethoven and Chopin
Sure as hell hope so
I was so happy when this played in FH4. The nostalgia. You can find this song in the classics radio.
An orgy of all the soundtracks from halo CE to 4 and some new stuff great job 343.
This made me happy because they brought back classic themes for this ALONG WITH 117, which was honestly the best song from Halo 4.
ive hit replay 117 times!
+Michael Edwards , i hit it 343 times, lets see who will be the first to hit it 2015 times
+diego Helmy How about 2552 times?
My most recent counter was hit 2558 times
Why don't we all hit it over 9000 times
Why don't we all hit it over 9000 times
Damn BOI is the encounter of the Past and Future Themes its amazing!
Final part of the Halo Movie:
"The Trials" playing:
0:00 Master Chief comes throw a last door in High Charity.
(Shouting Crowd)
1:21 Truth: The "Demon"
Everybody shouts louder.
1:24 Truth: You have been brave, and have come to me...
1:29 Truth: "To die"
1:31 There is a tense atmosphere, everybody is shouting at Master Chief, insulting him.
1:54 Truth: Let the fight
1:58 The screen then divides on 3 parts, the first is showing Master Chief and Tartarus facing each other on the platform.
The three wardens eternals at the end of the second last level disliked this video :l
*warden -3- thanks autocorrect.
And now, truth, mercy, and regret disliked this video :c
And now the people who couldn't find the Silent Cartographer in Horizon Australia.
you mean the ones i ran past when i played legendary?
You can find answers in that one I think. Wait nvmd that’s in an Osiris mission after you ride the scorpion and find a crashed pelican with that and other useful things to help
Don’t care what anyone says about halo 5s story and gameplay, this track is an absolute banger
5 SUCKS ITS AWFUL I CAN NOT PLAY WITH MY 19 YEAR OLD BROTHER ITS SUCKS THE STORY IS GARBAGE AND THE6 *F'ED UP* THE *ENTIRE LEGACY OF HALO*
@@monroemomma6573 ok buddy go take your hate boner somewhere else and wank it
Yeah it’s a great soundtrack but the soundtracks from the old halo games are far better
This should be the Halo Infinite Main Theme
+Torlava YES!!!
True
NO EVEN BETTER FIGHT WITH CORTANA!!!!
Well it kinda is the Halo 5 theme too (at least for Chief's missions)
but yet you play as Locke when this first comes on, [first mission]
It's so crazy to think that the song is in Forza Horizon 4 on Timeless.
It's such an amazing touch.
I'm pretty sure it was also in FH3.
@@iamportalmasterYes, i found this song through FH3
my hero master chif
master chef 117
no sangheli, though, that stuffs tastes like moldy squid.
*says under helmet* This, this is fucking raw.
Yes, my hero is master *chif* too
This is a banger
I love this they have the theme from practically every other halo game beautifully remade into one awesome music score
When I hear this music, I remember why I love so much Halo 5
Kazuma Jinnouchi = Marty's True Successor
Now if only they'll find a true successor to Joe Staten's writing skills.
Seriously though, Kazuma has done an insanely good job, especially considering what he had to live up to!
Well 343's new writing director worked on the story for the Batman Arkham trilogy sooo
Justus Campbell soo.... Halo is back to roots... Bud sad news.. Kazuma left 343... Rumours are becz Marty the god himself is back!!
Listen to the rest of Jinnouchi's Halo 5 tracks, and say that to me again lol.
This is almost like every halo theme tied together... amazing!!!
I never knew I could get so hyped up on music, but god damn, the classic theme is back!
2:01
"Blue team fall out"
This track would be perfect for the TV show
Check out Brute Force Entry. They have a rendition of Halo theme.
Halo 5 was my first halo game and I have to say It's incredible game. Unique music, wonderful graphic and fun gameplay !
Halo 1 its my first halo and yes best its halo 5 I love but I dont know what its best halo 5 or 4
Halo Infinite was my first time playing a fresh new game of Halo. All I can say is awesome! I sent hours straight without stopping.
1:54 "the unggoy are resisting"
"Hnng, throw the unggoy out the airlock"
2:59 this single part fills me we so much emotions
I think the first mission has this incredible cinematic feeling to it, as the epicly composed music kicks in and (with H5 being my first halo game) running into these bad-ass-lookimg super-sci-fi crawlers. Such a vivid memory.
The Halo TV show needs to take notes from this. Why couldn’t it have music this memorable?
Sean Callery did make some cool tracks, but he was limited. Check out Duty Bound, Stretegic Retreat, Shared Vision, and Brute Force Entry.
Pov: your test is due today and its 3am
Halo 5’s story might be, (lets not talk about it) but any halo games OST is good, including this one.
This track was a lifesaver for my heroic playthrough
YOU KNOW ITS HALO WHEN THE SOUNDTRACK IS THIS GOOD! Seriously though this is AMAZING
Halo 5 is not my favorite Halo, but i still enjoyed it. The story stunk, but I did enjoy the fast paced gameplay and this amazing soundtrack.
Racing a Warthog in Horizon 4 has never been more epic
Just amazing can't wait now 😃👌
I can't stop myself from playing this on loop!
Halo is honestly one of the top greatest gaming series ever
Dear Humanity, we regret being alien bastards, we regret coming to earth, and we most definitely regret that the corps just blew up our raggedy ass fleet! Ooh-ra
When chief enters smash
1:46
You may hate this game but you can’t lie that the custom games were fun as fuck
its a huge mixed bag. the multiplayer is overall great imo, very fun
Always been one of my favorite tracks on the Halo 5 soundtrack for OBVIOUS reasons
4 minutes of pure legend
