Menuphobic. Great way to go put this game... They have made this game mass effect(dragon age edition) they took blood magic out of this shite fir gods sake lol.. A game for everyone is one for no one
@@MaiitsohZ what exactly is a real gamer? Romamcing characters and playing virtual movies. If so just go watch a movie or platinum actually tough games like fromsoft games for example. You used to get "real" gaming out of dragon age and decisions mattered. Now you get a game where you get bland characters that you can have sex with as the main selling point. Did this person hurt your feelings somehow calling out this generic game with geberic tropes that no one would look at twice. Only because they slap dragon age on it. I can put lipstick on a pig too but it's still a pig
@@SM-oc4rcof course that’s how it works. It’s the same as giving scripts to “game journalists” where they can only say positive things. Everyone watching will love the game!!
@@jlb9577 It's the same as giving an influencer a free product in exchange for a shoutout. That's guaranteed sales from all of their followers, right? Right?
Couldnt agree more about the point on representation. No one cared that BG3 did it because it was organic and the devs didnt throw it in our faces. The Veilguard devs are compelled to tell us because theyre virtue signalling, pandering, undermining, condescending idiots. It's so uninteresting and lazy to say it's canon that all characters are pansexual. Having characters that were sexually exclusive made for an interesting party dynamic. Straight, bi, gay and even the characters that weren't romanceable/abstinent was a better choice than to have sexual homogeneity across all companions. If everyone's the same they all collectively lose value and meaning.
I have had multiple dude bros complain about Aylin and Isobel, saying they hate how much the gay was thrown in their face. I asked them why they were complaining about the Gnomes in Act 1. They didn't even notice the gnomes despite saving them and directly calling each other husband. They didn't notice that the bard is dating one of the other female tiefs (though, admittedly can be missed if the tiefs don't completely survive and you don't go to the roof of the elf song tavern in act 3). Everyone did that Wilburn and Barchus are gay 'cause they come off sus. Nope, dude bros didn't pick up on that.
Woke SJWeirdos: "You can roll a trans character, complete with top surgery scars." Us: "How about rolling a gender you 'identify' as. No matter how much you identify as the beautiful swan, aren't the scars a reminder that you were the ugly duckling?"
How is this any kind of representation either? My mom had breast cancer and had one breast removed, can I make a character like that? No, only trans man top surgery scars? They're only offering representation to one favoured group.
It's really sad how brain dead part of the Dragon Age fan base has become. "Oooh look at the pretty hair physics, look at all the bright flashing colours, oh my god I can pet the griffon and cats and dogs in the game!" So disappointing.
Also, I think little details such as this should be kept a secret and left for the player to find out. Imagine an epic story, a detail-rich world. Oh, and suddenly you discover you can pet the doggo! But, no, instead they use these things to try and trick us into overlooking what a mess the game is (based on everything that we've seen so far).
@@docmacabre The animal petting should be a feature, not a gameplay mechanic. They just throw us some crumps and hope we won't go feral on their asses. I say, eat the rich.
You mean the fact there is nutidy and sex scenes? Attractive woman with thic thighs? And straight relationships? Yeah, sooooo woke. You're so clever Mrday.
Finally, a commentator not afraid to be pissed off whilst calling out the stupidity of gaming aimed at "modern" audiences. Excellent stuff , subscribed. Keep raging on
They think any game is queer if you can have same sex relationships and a character creator, which in some ways it can be For that person Role Playing, but it's not like the game itself IS queer, or it is made for them, it is open for everyone, simple as that. That's the magic of good RPGs, but as always they miss the point thinking this is the most important thing in the game.
No, it's because now the only meaningful characteristics of companions is the fact that they swing both ways and have racially diverse features. Woke through and through to the core. No personality, no identity, no principles, (remember Sten?) Now companions are ugly, boring and forgettable.
This is Neo Bioware, not Bioware any more. I am almost sure that this Neo Bioware even hates Dragon Age Origins. By the way, the moment I heard Corrine the Gendermancer speak I had the same reaction as you.
The Funny thing is the literally added nothing to the game by making everyone biosexual. You can still romance Alistair as a man in origins, you just need to play a girl and its vise verse for Morrigan. All they did was take away believability from the game.
If they were listening to fans most of these changes in the game wouldn't exist. Demons don't look like demons. And dark spawn are more generic looking then they've ever looked for example.
@@Kross415 anyone can say they have a council of fans. I don't know em and they could just be a slew of sjw or feminists people who played inquisition as they're first game.
They were in too deep. Probably tried to change it after BG3 gained GOTY and they realized CRPGs are actually popular, but the game was far too butchered by then.
This game looks like a poor version of dragon age 3 with even worst graphics aside from some light effects. Poor dialogue choices, just like DA3, probably even worst, but even worst character designs and style. At least DA3 and Inquisition had a coherent style and didnt look like a generic MMO/mobile game.
This is one of those rare cases of making a character with an absolutely massive unit of a dingaling and a big fat set of watermelon balls could've actually save us all some of the cringe but there we go
I think it's even worse. You have only 3 abilities/spells. The other on the left and right are the abilities of your companions. You can't even fully control them anymore. You can just pause the game and give them order to use specific ability. I would rather pay twice for Baldur's Gate 3 and support it's developers rather than spend a single coin on this game.
@MsPrasatko It's a boring game. Plain and simple. It can't choose between being a live rpg or a turn based rpg so it's caught in this limbo of cutting off in the middle of the action and just ruining the flow of the gameplay.
I mean..if you managed to properly tune the companion AI in Origins then you didn't even have to pause gameplay during combat. I hear some people calling Origins a CRPG,which it wasn't,it wasn't turn based at all! It's like they removed all player agency by implementing Mass Effect mechanics into Dragon Age.I have no hate towards ME mechanics, but it was designed for a completely different type of RPG. Then the aestethics of this game look terrible.I hate beeing blinded by neon lights everywhere on my screen, thank fuck i'm not an epilepsy patiënt or i would have seizure after seizure playing this shit. Morrigan was HOT,sultry voice acting, sultry looks about her. But now it's like she let herself go completely over the years and looks like she is standing in the middle of a feminist rally. Qunari look gay AF compared to the likes of the Arishok,he looked absolutely terrifying and BADASS. But hey, anything and everything that looks male and badass is just toxic anyway right? They won't get a penny out of me,and as proof of insult,i'm not even interested in pirating this piece of garbage. DEI is like a penis. It's all fine and dandy untill you start waving it in my face. But sure, these companies are hell bent on burning themselves to the ground. GOOD RIDDANCE
This is one thing that annoys me so much about the marketing for Failguard. Origins already offered gay relationship options. So, why are they making such a massive fuss about it? As if this were groundbreaking... I'm so tired of companies using LGBT and inclusion to market their products. And it frustrates me even more that people do not see that it's only about money. They do not care about you or representation. They care about making profit. Is Busche an activist? Don't know, don't care. EA is the one responsible for the marketing. EA spends hundreds of millions on marketing alone each year. _None_ of this was done by accident. They might just use her being trans to further their own agenda: virtue signalling for profit. They did not do this type of marketing with Inquisition or DA2, despite the latter already having an all-bi cast and the former featuring a trans character. All of this only ends up alienating people bc it makes them feel excluded. And I'm saying this as a lesbian. Dragon Age is fantasy, not a fcking dating sim. When I first played Origins back then, I fell in love with the story and setting. The fact that I, playing a female character, could romance another female character was a bonus. An epic one, I'll admit. But if the story wouldn't have been what it was, then the romance part wouldn't have mattered either.
It's what I've been fucking saying. They are acting like they are inventing the wheel when LGBTQ+ representation was apparent in the first DAO and that game came out 15 YEARS AGO. So yes, they can shove their fucking "queer game" up their ass, because as I said, by trying to please everyone, they please fucking no one. They are standing in the middle, not fully committing to one thing or the other and the end product is reflecting that. This game is coming apart at the seams and it hasn't even been released yet. Everyone with fucking eyeballs and an IQ number of over 50 can see that this is a marketing plot to try to get a younger audience to buy this title and any other shit Bioware will put out in the future. The problem is, the younger audience they want to please so much is made of kids and broke young adults. The actual audience with enough money to pay for this shit is people over the age of 25 that have been fans of this games since DAO and are fucking pissed at them for doing this shit. They've basically shot themselves on the foot and are blaming us for it.
@@nuhre Also, I think it's really patronizing towards the younger audience. When Origins came out, I was part of the young audience. They assume that everyone in that age bracket is a mental case such as you run into on Twitter or TikTok, and thus cannot handle anything a little grittier or more complex. Another TH-camr made an excellent point about this recently (Legendary Drops). He said that these devs and companies made the mistake of believing social media would be reflecting reality. But you only ever hear or see the most extreme people of the spectrum. Most people in real life aren't like that. It is possible to reach both audiences. BG3 is the perfect example here. Effing BG3, with its full-on turn-based combat!!!, managed to pull in people all across the bank (love that game, made me feel so nostalgic)! Dragon Age was one of my fav IPs. Now I'm not even interested anymore in finding out how the story ends. They dropped too many major spoilers, starting with the very first gameplay reveal which pretty much destroyed everything the Trespasser DLC set up by failing at physics and using outdated, shxtty tropes that belong in a museum.
Dragon age origin uses an old formula for an epic fantasy setting. Its the trinity of having Good vs lesser evil vs pure evil. for example in dragon age origin the good guys we the warden must fight the lesser evil which is thane Logan in order to unite the realm against a pure evil which is the blight/the archdemon. Its the same system with Mass effect and books like a song of ice and fire. its very effective way of portraying the human nature of good, redemption, absolute evil, and man struggle against the natural elements.
Didn't play BG3 but in that game I know you can play as a super evil bastard. This is good. Player freedom matters. Transgon Age: ReeGuard is just... Meh.
I remember how I was utterly disappointed by da2, but the game grew on me. Hawke was a compelling character with a story that was being told from the perspective of another compelling character - that made this game stand out. Then, I hated Inquisition for being a single player mmo, but again, it grew on me, Trespasser in particular was just right amount of storytelling and gameplay. This? Does this have any potential at all? They are butchering your favorite IP in front of your eyes and gaslight you into believing it's the best decision ever made.
This shitty dialogue system is why these developers were complaining about how good buldurs gates dialogue system was. I think bioware is truly dead now.
Dragon Age: The Dustborn 😁😁 This game has so many red flags I cant wait for the feedback 🤣🤣 After what they pulled when they killed Mass Effect for that Anthem shit show I have no respect for Bioware and hope this is their last game, shame really as the original devs made some of the best games of all time but as we have seen recently gamers dont want this dumbed down nonsense Thanks for saying what needed saying, I'll be back for the updates and gameplay 😎😎 What is a 'gendermancer' anyway? is it a. someone who changes sex at the drop of a hat b. someone who uses their gender to attack people like a pyromancer or c. just a narcissistic asshole? or d. all of the above 😍😍
Cons: Looks like a 360 game, Shallow combat, Boring companions, No tactician mode..still 🤡😝💩 Only one choice in conversations, Shallow conversation trees Pros: (none) This isn't Dragon Age. Its an imposter Media Conclusion: RACISM!!!
I'm gonna go off a bit but I am a gaymer and a huge dragon age fan, ever since they let my trevelyan bang zevran back in the day. Corinne was not the original director of this game, there have been like three or four and they have all left the studio, and she was the last one to take over. So I am not going to blame all of the problems on her because that would not be fair. But I have a huge problem with corinne because its obvious she is not thinking about what is good for the _game_ and instead on what is good for _her_ personal beliefs about society. That is OK if you're making an original game, but dragon age has an established universe and legacy, and your job as director is to honor that legacy moving forward. Clearly she has injected her own personal world view into this game to some degree, and this interview really gave off major "I wanna be the main character" energy and I think that diminishes the contributions of designers, engineers, and everyone else that has worked on this game.
@eb1900 The problem with Corinne is that she made Sims 3 and 4 expansion packs. Objectively the worst Sims out there. And for that, the Devil shall have her soul.
The thing is that a new IP is a huge gamble for the game companies to do because they'll get less investors giving them money to make the game. That's why they take over established properties because fans will blindly buy the product that has their favourite IP's name on it.
Oooh all of this is exactly my sentiment. I'm queer AF and LOVE seeing representation in games, just like I adore seeing disabled and fat rep in my games... But representation is not and should NEVER be the heart of the story. Kaidan wasn't the whole plot because he had migraines. Dorian wasn't the whole plot because he was gay. Astarion wasn't the whole plot because he had trauma. I don't want to play someone else's mary-sue. I want to ROLE PLAY my own characters, and MY CHARACTER should absolutely be in charge of the group/party. Some of those characters might be straight, some queer, some different races or genders, and NONE of that should be the main plot. It's why I loved Origins and BG3. It was a nice surprise that my own life could subtly bleed into the story, but it was just that... a NICE SURPRISE... not the crux of the ENTIRE WORLD. If that's the entire plot and the horrific, world ending, gods driven contagion (oh, uh... sorry the "Blight debuff"...) is pushed that far into the background, what's even the point. I could read a queer romance novel and find it WAY more compelling because it wouldn't be full of crap character skins, shitty combat mechanics and migraine inducing bloom effects. Things like who you can romance, what pets you can pat, and what hair you can have should be a distant 3rd place to great story, solid combat and believable art/physics animation. Long story short, tokenism helps nobody, and ramming ideology down people's throats makes for a TERRIBLE 2 dimensional game plot.
Oh, boy, another good franchise got Sweet Baby Inc.'d (or Black Gamer Girl'd or whatever other shitty Blackrock mandated DEI consultancy bullshit they enforced onto the devs to fund this)
What can i do about it? i can make a comment about it 😝. Seriously though girl you really don't hold back but its not like i don't understand why, can't believe a word of these 'game journalist' cause they are neither journalist nor are they gamers so 1: they don't know what they are even talking about and 2: they can't play the game properly to know what they are even talking about. I myself am gonna try out the game to see if it is indeed just another virtue signaling DEI crap or if they will surprise me with some decent writing.
They're making the game like we're tranquil. They really have no idea how to make a game and its sadd. Varric would be disappointed on the writing on this. Honestly I really dislike that they're making everyone pan. I understand they did that in the first two, but inquisition gave the characters depth and made them feel real. Not everyone you meet is pan they have different identities. Dorian is my absolute favorite character and finding out about his past with his father makes you feel for him more. The fact he goes to Iron Bull if you don't romance him is awesome because now Bull an actual pan character he is romanceable by anyyy type of inquisitor. Also Solas only being able to be romanced by a female elf makes senseee, he wants to bring back the elves soo honestly why wouldn't that be the only race he wants. AND KREMMM an actual trans person and well done because no trans person is gonna flat out say they're trans. I can go on a tangent on this game. One thing I pray they do well is the interaction between Solas and the Inquisitor especially if they're romanced, if not I got enough fanfic to keep me content
I love your take on this so much I immediately subscribed to you. You hit every point with a hammer that Dragon Age fans have been frustrated about since this monstrous travesty began its demos. The "message' over decent gameplay, character design (what the fuck happened to the Qunari and the dark spawns faces?) The Qunari used to look intimidating not laughable. The blight...this game doesnt even respect it's own roots. Keep up the great content. I fucking love your honesty.
what you noticed at about the 30:00 mark means that the cutscenes for character quests will play I guess even without the character present? meaning you don't even need to ever travel with them? omfg. I was right with you this entire video, this is such a spit in the face of the original. Origins was a fantastic game, this is dumbed down, fake, performative, and just pretending to be inclusive. "blighted" LMAO
Look up Everquest Next it was supposed to be the 3rd Everquest but Sony cancelled it in 2012 the graphics of this game are very very close to EQ Next this game looks like absolute ASS for a 2024 game its embarassing i was hyped for it cause i actually really enjoyed inquisition im not gonna buy this game even on sale... its really really frustrating what DEI has done to gaming
@@nuhre I commented before finishing the video, you actually said that it looks like a mobile game haha. Seriously tho, Bioware churning out this regurgitated slop makes me quite worried about the next Mass Effect. Fukin grifters in charge of video game production nowadays. 😤
and if you bothered to follow gameplay videos that are being released almost daily instead of just watching hate videos, you would know they already said almost all of it can be toggled off and UI is completely customizable in accessibility options. the newest Dragon fight video on official DA channel from yesterday even showcased that with most of UI turned off with minimal particle effects and completely clear screen. but you champs love to whine about things while being completely ignorant
I am so happy I am not the only one who feel like they have watered down the elven race, and change the qunari so much that a qunari Rook looks like an 8 year old boy with that baby face! Where is the intimidating factor of the Qun from prior titles??
Before any other Dragon age title came out, I use to fantasize about my grey warden locating a single remaining Gryphon in some future DA game. How disappointing that it's in this version of Dragon age and we as the player aren't the one to find this little gryphon. Just another reason I won't be buying this crap.
Queerness, if I'm correct started to be showed in our throats by BioWere only with DA: Inquisition. True, in DA:Origins one could choose to have a homosexual romance with binary Zevran or Leliana, but I don't recall any NPC (companion or otherwise) shouting about his or her queerness on the streets or in the Inn, as started to happen in Inquisition. Hell, you didn't even talk about bisexuality in conversations with either Zevran or Leliana, it just happened. It felt seamless and natural, just two people developing affection for each other. It certainly didn't feel like a determined effort to make the in game world a queer one. Queer options, like those mentioned above were just there, for interest players to explore, but nothing else. Player was not limited in any shape of form in pursuing other romantic interests which were straight and were many more. It was a normal world (as much as world with Dragons, Magic and Blight can be normal), with normal people and tiny addition of queerness. As was normal society back than and even now, excluding current California circus. So no, that WOKE woman who is made chief creator of this last (and it will be last if nothing changes) iteration of DA is completely wrong. DA universe was never queer, not until BioWere started to show the queerness, WOKE and inclusivity shit, back in Inquisition. Don’t believe me? Try this for a size. Remember gorgeous Wardens on could create in Origins? Remember trying to make a good looking female character in Inquisition's CC? Yup. Indeed, this crappy-by-design CC is nothing new. BioWere learned nothing.
Let´s say that the game was good just stay with me and let´s say it´s a really good game 10/10 . Why will i buy it ? I mean they just spoil everything in there presentation . It´s like Cyberpunk that they have told us that Jackie will die before the game even release . Dev´s DEV´S STOP SPOILING THE GAME IF I WILL BUY IT I DON´T WANT TO KNOW THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN F...... IDIOTS
“You can headcanon in your head all you want” This. People used to have IMAGINATION in fantasy, or self-insert. It’s called having fun and ROLE PLAYING, whether than role is a fictional story you invent or putting yourself into the world Games like this remove all imagination and role-playing, and TELL YOU what you should be playing as. The sheer IRONY of a game that shoehorns me, a straight white man, into being able to pretend i’m trans 😂 …
"Dragon Age was always gay/queer!" I really want to know what this means, like I have a feeling about how surface level the statement is. But I really want someone to explain to me what that means. Because to me it's the same as "Star Trek was always woke", no it was progressive but not woke. And even then it was progressive for the times, but now something like it would just be among the average. The existence of gay, black, queer, trans or whatever else characters doesn't make something inherently that thing. Like hell in retrospect racism is a very big thing in the dragon age world but it's mainly between human and human, and having characters with sexual preferences allows for their sexual identity to be part of them. Instead you are now left with pansexual npc #51479 that you can romance as well.
That's their only argument. You complain that something doesn't make sense lore wise? Bigot. You ask them for an explanation? Bigot. They can't comprehend than most of us wouldn't give a fuck about queer companions, if only the game and the writing was any good. It is quite ironic that a company that claims to be all about inclusivity only offers pansexual romances, erasing inclusion of any kind.
Too much unexplainable attention to third roles characters (like Harding for example) in crooked scenario of this game series... also game spectacularly offer to us insane BLM & LGBT propaganda. Is it too ridiculous be normal man or normal woman? In game at least?... Especially illusion of choice make me extremely happy)) as developers planned of course...
I miss the times when elves look like elves, like Thranduil, Galadriel and Legolas. The old times when elves looks so magical and foreign (idk how do I put it). I love Baldur's Gate 3, I'm all for 'you can romance every character without even starting a new gameplay with a different character (gender to be specific)' not shoving agendas on player's face.
"If you don't like it, don't buy it" - An exec who needs to make over a whole silly billy (200 silly millies invested in development, 200 to not be a loss, 200 to return on investment, 800 to not justify shutting down bioware forever)
It just seems like most if not all of the talent that made the series great before is gone. The game has been through an endless storm of changes and setbacks and now at this point someone looked at the project with enough confidence for the first time to say: "okay guys, i think we can get this ready by x time." So they are going forward with this, and the game is... what can be expected. The core idea being basically "okay, i guess that's good enough to get us through the finish line, it's gonna wobble, and parts might fall off but we can definitely get it over the finish line". The dev team is clearly a mixed bag and they are working with scraps but, certainly, something will definitely be released come october. But perhaps i'm wrong. Maybe it will turn out to be an okay game and i'll get it from a sale, or free from EPIC in a year and enjoy it. Who knows? I rest knowing that the three games were entertaining and nothing will take that away from us. Right now i'm playing Origins again and i'm just loving it and Dragon Age Keep is amazing. And here is also a special thought. I know devs and publishers are a bit dence and don't seem to realize a lot of pretty simple and obvious things. But even if Veilguard releases and bombs, it doesn't really mean jack shit to the series at large, not really. Cause at that point the players aren't really flipping a finger to Dragon Age. They are flipping a finger to a bad game made by untalented people who lack the proper visions. Years forward a new team might still grab the bull by the horns and make a better sequel that might even go with the wild premise "Okay, Veilguard sucked and it isn't canon, here's the next real Dragon Age game". Cause the fact of the matter is this: You make a good, entertaining game and people ARE going to buy it. And really nobody will think twice about the Veilguard fuckup. Why would they? Would you say no to an amazing game just cause the previous one was done by clowns? Especially when the series is close to your heart?
People think I hate Dragon Age. No, I love it. And that is why I am so mad. At this point, everyone that made Bioware and its game what they were has either been fired or they have quit because they knew the ship was sinking. And to be honest, who can blame them? This is how Dragon Age dies, with thunderous applause by people that don't know what good writing is if it hit them in the face.
@@nuhre Yeah, bad writing is the worst, the curb stomp for fantasy games like these. Mod support helps in fixing some parts of a game that isn't as enjoyable as it could be. You can fix stupid npc faces, darkspawn visuals, UI, even tweak the gameplay. But if the core story is bad... whats the point? Why polish a turd? And the game shouldn't really need mods. Everything should work out of the box. Like, i heard there are a bunch of mods for Origins, but i'm in the middle of a new playthrough after 9 years of taking a break from the series and nothing is *that* bad really. The story is as good as it has always been, and there is a bunch of stuff that i just didn't know to appreciate when i first played the game. I didn't quite realize just how good it all really is. The characters for example are all really nice. Kind of... iconic actually. 🧐
@Mietin Dragon Age Origins is a masterpiece. They should've remastered it instead of doing... whatever this is. And Dragon Age 2 was saved by the characters and their interactions. You could point a gun to my face and I couldn't tell you anything about the companions of Veilguard. They have left no impression at all.
Im soooo sad ..... I did not mean to... but I MUST agree with you. kkk I wish you were wrong. so badly.. but you`re not!!! They tried so hard.. and they made it!!!! kkk The game I loved the most in my life.. that made me want to buy a console for the first time in my life back in 2009... the storytelling was so compelling.. the sense of dread so involving... I started writing my own stories due to that first approach this world had shown with it`s first entry.... and now... I don`t know how to react to it.. It`s over... and not even in it`s peak... It`s beyond reparable. There will be cool things for gamers (Many people like this kind of game.. and it`s fine) However... FLASHES AND BUTTOM pressing and companions who are combo side kicks that are seemingly impossible to get killed simply because they don`t engane in combat by themselves is not RPG at all. not Dragon Age of al things.... NPC conversations which are simply pre made lines kkkkk that`s sooooo bad kkkkk it ends up being ridiculous... there are only slight references to what it once was supposed to be.... :/
Dam you have been a spark of joy once all this shit came out about DAV. Since you are a streamer you will play it, dont forget about EA subbscription, aperently you can play DAV with it and not give those fuckers 60 bucks.
"if you make [thing] for everyone, you make it for no one". indeed, you can distill the idea to this. the problem is, the people the point is meant for, wouldn't watch this video. they're stuck in their bubble, and dismiss any criticism of [thing] with the most uncharitable interpretation of the critic's intention. I'm afraid you're wasting your time. the best you can do right now, is to support good [thing], and ignore the terrible ones. because even if you outspokenly denounce the bad [thing], they still get publicity. just imho.
you know rook now can be queer, because i invented water, you know what even funnier, you can't be bad or do bloodmagic, because rook have trauma, you know what, you can't have a bad ending final or e villain arc in the game, because rook have to save the world. They want us to feel represented, but rook is just a pre-made character with a custom skin made by the player, we will not have any freedom in terms of choice like baldurs, not even like origins, but yeah, the girl invented gays in games(that are just the same as the str8 characters but with mlm or wlw content).
Rook is the least customizable character of all the DA games. They are just a vessel to whom the story happens to. This ain't an RPG. Choices and consequences died with Origins.
@@s00_uth Oh, definetly. This is my favorite franchise of all time. First ever RPG I played as a teen. Hate to see it go down in flames, but I would rather they kill it already.
omg your answers to woke babies are hilarious xD wish i had the same quick thinking to answer them like this also this game has some of the ugliest women i have ever seen in a video game and i dont expect them to do anything good with the story
1:30. Very well said. If you make a game political from day 1, it's going to flop and be Concord Jr. Going to be a beautiful failure again for normal people to laugh at.
30:40 & close: Oh yes indeed.. That feature in 'every' Dragon Age games is El Bueno 👌 So if it's not in this Mobile look a like sequel then this is gonna be first Dragon Age game that i won't buy 😐 Third one i bought when it got minus sixty discount ✅ First two with normal price, yeah even second knowing it was hack'n slash with two maps 🤫
I don't want actual real life problems to be in every modern game in a way or another! Video games used to be a distraction. Bioware didn't need more of what they represented well already! And all looks like they came from the plastic surgeon! Super lisse botoxed plastified face! The decors great. The gameplay buggy, from what i saw yesterday, and a youtuber had to pin point all of the ones he noticed during the battle scenes! I don't want dev insecurities to reflect on DA! All the good franchise are being destroyed, it is sad!
Bioware used to produce my two favourite game franchises - Mass Effect and Dragon Age. After replaying the first three games of both franchises dozens of times as well as having read and owning all the novels for both Mass Effect and Dragon age and finishing Andromeda exactly twice - I put all my love and hope for the future in Dragon Age as Mass Effect atm feels beyond saving (it was my favourite of the two universes).
Corinne : We need top scars!
Gabe : Ok, explain to me how this makes the game fun.
Woke SJWeirdos: "You can roll a trans character, complete with top surgery scars."
Us: "How about rolling a gender you 'identify' as. No matter how much you identify as the beautiful swan, aren't the scars a reminder that you were the ugly duckling?"
Also explain how it makes any sense in the world. Krem had no problem identifying as a man and not having top surgery.

This game looks like a poor version of dragon age 3 with even worst graphics aside from some light effects.

Yup.

So they are going forward with this, and the game is... what can be expected.
Maybe someday we can get a proper tactical DA game remake via BG3 mods. Maybe in 10, 20, or 30 years.
the game has very great potential, and THEY destroyed it. yes you read it right. THEY destroyed it, not he not she, THEY
Who is this chick? I think im in love but im already married... Convert to Islam?😆
Now I really wait Fable , because it look like a new dragon age, what never can be a thing with bioware
Everybody's lips move like they just got out of the dentist's office. Here's hoping the Novacaine wears off by the time the game launches.
I think they went overboard with the botox as well.
Wheezing. That is on point.
I'm right like 6/10 times. This is one of those times.
Dam you have been a spark of joy once all this shit came out about DAV. Since you are a streamer you will play it, dont forget about EA subbscription, aperently you can play DAV with it and not give those fuckers 60 bucks.
@@Dexyu I like the way you think
Just came to give a like and watch your video since you have a great opinion.
I didn't play Inquisition because I thought it is already bad. I will let you guess how big are the chances of me playing this.
intelligent, ruthless and on point. you made my coffee taste better this morning
You have no idea what I can do to toast.
Does anybody remember the Cats Movie? This is it...
i hate when they games easy for console, so the delute all skills to fit controllers
With you 100%
"if you make [thing] for everyone, you make it for no one". indeed, you can distill the idea to this. the problem is, the people the point is meant for, wouldn't watch this video. they're stuck in their bubble, and dismiss any criticism of [thing] with the most uncharitable interpretation of the critic's intention. I'm afraid you're wasting your time. the best you can do right now, is to support good [thing], and ignore the terrible ones. because even if you outspokenly denounce the bad [thing], they still get publicity. just imho.
@@rust_and_ruin Oh, no. They watch it. And call me names. But what they don't know is that every time they post a hate comment, I get stronger.
you know rook now can be queer, because i invented water, you know what even funnier, you can't be bad or do bloodmagic, because rook have trauma, you know what, you can't have a bad ending final or e villain arc in the game, because rook have to save the world.
All I see in this video is pure passion ❤ Amazing video 👌
Spot on glad to see a real girl gamer weighing in!
Dragon age veilguard? More like woke age.
cant wait to see how this game is gonna be the reason that bioware will be closed, bc they just RUINING EVERYTHING what was builded before
I have been waiting. With popcorn and a smile.
@@nuhre kinda sad smile though. both with ME and DA (i just really hope ME will be never released after THIS, bc seriously wtf)
@@s00_uth Oh, definetly. This is my favorite franchise of all time. First ever RPG I played as a teen. Hate to see it go down in flames, but I would rather they kill it already.
Actually, the griffon thing was explained in The Last Flight, so them being back was established before Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
@@DaniFantoma I don't know how to read, Dani.
Nobody reads that drivel.
Is this woman single? Because I think I'm in love. The views expressed here are so spot on , perfectly said!
She ain't. For all of those who call me a pick me girl, I got picked already!
The fact you're calling that dude a she is how we got to this point. It'll get worse, but keep being agreeable.
I can be a cunt without being a bigot. The problem is not her being trans. The problem is that she's an incompetent bitch.
Woke game devs are good for one thing. Saving gamers money.
Hero Hei sent me here coz apparently you swear so much that he cant play a 45 second clip on his channel lol, keep up the good work nuhre :)
I curse like a sailor. Sorry, Hero Hei...
omg your answers to woke babies are hilarious xD wish i had the same quick thinking to answer them like this
also this game has some of the ugliest women i have ever seen in a video game and i dont expect them to do anything good with the story
@@eastbow6053 All I have in my brain is anger and sass.
great video. i can feel every rage and frustration from you. keep bringing more and dont buy this crap.
Thanks, will do!
The characters look plastic.
1:30. Very well said. If you make a game political from day 1, it's going to flop and be Concord Jr.
Going to be a beautiful failure again for normal people to laugh at.
So sad to see how far the game is falling.
What are you doing here?! Who let you out of the basement?
@@nuhre Your bf did thats why I love him! :P
Legendary rant, based.
And what has been shown of this game has made me appreciate Andromeda...... I repeat - it made me 'like' Andromeda to the point of redownloading it and pretending I didn't preorder Veilguard. Lady, I bow my head in respect and commiserate. Let's drink to the funeral of Bioware and invest hope where it's due - Larian Studios.
Larian will save us, Foxy. Until then, let us drink!
There is also Exodus coming from Archetype Entertainment a spiritual successor to Mass Effect being made by some of the OG Bioware devs.
@@MrDay53 Really?! Haven't heard about this one. Going to have to keep an eye out for that one.
@@nuhre They've had some cinematics released. I'm pumped for it because Drew Karpyshyn is writing and James Ohlen is the game director. I think they have some old school Naughty Dog devs and old Halo devs as part of the dev team as well.
@@MrDay53 I am definitely checking this out on stream.
29:35 Hrr i can't get that dummy face out of mi mind 😵💫 Please Eaware & other games studio developers stop using so many shiny lights in armours 😮💨
