my problem isn’t being the gossiper it’s when like someone is gossiping to me about others. i know when they do that it makes me a gossiper to even if i don’t participate.
The Lord has really been helping me recently to deal with gossip and other sins that I have struggled with in community. He is definitely using this right now to confirm so much of what He has been teaching me. Thank you Sarah!
What an amazing topic to cover! Something I have been more and more convicted of is guarding my heart when watching videos on TH-cam. Celebrity gossip and even small TH-camrs, not watching videos that slander public figures.
My mother is bad about talking about dad I heard it so much. I can record her talking about their problems replay it after she’s gone pretty much that’s the remembrance of the conversation we had.

I believe that God sent me this right on time because off late this has been my struggle and the fact that the people that surround me are okay with gossipping makes it worse because , you end up engaging with them but in the end I feel so horrible about it 😭 and often times I don't even have a problem with the individual someone is talking about. The past two weeks I've been going through Christian videos and articles that talk about how to stop gossipping. I repented about the times I've actually ended up giving in into that temptation and going forward, I'm going to intentionally work towards avoiding people who gossip and also continually pray that the Holy Spirit helps me to guard my mouth and heart. I'll also pray for the people surrounding me too. Thank you for sharing your wisdom again you've helped me view a lot of stuff from different perspectives ❤️
wow i needed this! i struggle the most with gossiping even if it doesn’t feel bad like we’re just talking about what a sister is going through and how she should change. not my business to share with others. i also struggle with over exaggerating so lying mixed with gossip, 2 sins in one and the enemy loves to use those!
Thank you so much! Immediately when I saw this I knew the Holy Spirit was leading me to watch it. The frustrating part that you mention is something I do relate too completely. This has been happening to a lot about specific people around me. I thank you for sharing because it’s so true!!! It made so much sense when you said how we end up bashing their character by complaining about what frustrates us. It’s better to just ask the Holy Spirit for help to deal with that frustration. This couldn’t be more timely! Being talked about by people you thought would protect you is one of the most painful moments of my life, and I’m currently processing things, and this video came right on time. I was reminded to be more mindful about what to share with people, and at the same time, I was encouraged to look at their situation and pray for them, still. I take comfort that God knows and His Spirit will help me look at things not on the lens of being hurt, but on the lens of being first and foremost forgiven by the Lord. 🥹🤍
Hey Eke! 💕 I think because it kind of forces us to keep it more authentic because the camera keeps rolling as opposed to second guessing what we are going to say because we can keep changing our message or words when we know we can just edit it 😅 and secondly it makes editing a lot easier because I have been considering hiring an editor since I haven’t had as much time but now I don’t need to because it’s so easy to film and edit and upload 😀💕

I feel like I don’t even notice that I’m gossiping 90% of the time when I am, so this is a good reminder to be more mindful!
