Amazing video!👍👏 I just began my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They have an incredible range of digital comics for every genre, including the hard to find ones. Lifetime updates too!😁
My uncle had an antique store back in the day and he had signs posted throughout the store saying, “You break it, you bought it.” He needs to pay whatever he would normally pay for VF/NM condition.
Oh boy, wow. That is really messed up. If the seller cared that much to want to sell his books at the condition it was that were to his standards the seller himself should have been the one to carefully carry his collections to the buyer, just to prevent any incidents. But that's crazy, i'd say it's the sellers fault for trusting the buyer for handling the books when its the seller's responsibility to make sure nothing like this occurs. Sorry for the seller, that person must be upset for sure. Nice review and haul.
Rule #1 only yourself should handle your books if you are unloading them to sell. That way you can only blame yourself if they get damaged. The owner didnt see the condition of the books prior so at least he offered the seller something for them. Like you said a lose lose situation
The store owner causing the damages should have compromised in the amount wanted by the seller. Yes, he didn't see the books before buying but I'm sure the books could have been pressed and restored or improved. Now the seller feels wronged and he won't be coming back with anymore books. Word gets around and that hurts the store. Lesson learned is always have the seller bring in the books.
sorry if you damaged my books and then, try low ball on them. 2 things. one, i'm calling the cops and two, i'm getting my lawyer invoived cause he has every right to sue the guy for damaging his comics. tripped and fell on them ? how many other times has that happened i wonder ?
1st, I don't care if I have several heavy boxes. I'll handle them myself. 2nd, once a price was agreed upon, the owner should have threw him extra money or like i dunno, 100 dollars credit as an apology?
I would be pissed off and tell him he is gonna pay me what I want for my books he damaged are call the cops on him but for one I would never sell to a shop cause they screw you over every time.
I wouldn't sell to a comic shop anyway before even going in your not getting much what like 20 for a 80 for for a long with a run it of 252-300 sell it yourself do the work
I would have filled a police report. Then I would have had to sue him in small claims court. Pay a lawyer, add the fee's to the claim. Have the collection appraised and try to estimate its value before the incident. Double the current estimated value + lawyer fee's for the claim.
i wouldn’t go back
fun haul if it was the shop owners fault then he should have offered a little more

The shop owner should have paid more since he damaged the books. Awesome video dude!

The shop owner who damaged the sellers books and then didn’t want to pay is a bottom feeding creep. Nothing worse than bottom feeding creeps.
Any advice on how to sell non-key bulks?
Yard sale
@@whynotcomics3291 no yard but thanks
Herb Trimpe was drawing Hulk back at that time
Dude, did him dirty.
Small claims court and never return to that shop if the owner is not willing to do the right thing.
Those DC books at shop #2 are early silver age, not golden age. Great prices!
I would be pissed off and tell him he is gonna pay me what I want for my books he damaged are call the cops on him but for one I would never sell to a shop cause they screw you over every time.
Nice grab bro
I’d go back in there like King Shit😂😂😂😂
🦶
I wouldn’t be happy
He should have paid him bro especially when he damage the books
Did this really happen???
Stupid to have someone else move your merch before its paid for! Nope
He doesnt dig much.

Youre not gonna find a hulk 180 in a box at a shop
Doubt the movie will do the character justice. Most comic films are trash

X-Men # 1 in a 9.0 or a 9.2 (I forget which) is a $20 book per the latest Overstreet.
