  • BASIC INSTRUCTIONS HERE: • Animatronic Eyeball DI...
Ever wanted to build your own animatronic? One of those paintings that follows your movement? A taxidermy animal that's a little too life-like?
This is a great place to start.
I've designed these kits myself, and 3D print each one from PLA. The eye can look left or right, up or down, and blink as fast or as slow as you want it to!
You can also run up to 4 eyeballs at once, with fully independent motion, meaning you can do normal movements as well as wink or look cross-eyed whenever you want.
I have considered sharing the 3D print files and code publicly, but am concerned about security. Let me know what you think. Portion of the proceeds goes to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of South Alabama.

What you will need to find yourself:
    - Small Phillips (+) head screwdriver
    - Small Flat (-) head screwdriver
    - A hot glue gun, or similar adhesive
    - Optional: External power supply for microcontroller
As always, let me know if you have any questions! My goal is to make this the kit I wish I had when I was younger.

Will you be selling the 3d printed files? Currently, there isn't a listing for them on etsy.
    Thank you for your time!

Thank you very much for this video, i'm so keen to start making my animatronic eyes, just one question: Is it possible control the eyes wirelessly, like using a joystick controller or maybe a glove??

Hi John, the etsy page says the eyeball print yourself files are "sold out". Is there anyway to get the STL files?
