    Ok. I'm sold. Holy Molé. 600 ft lbs... just for reference, my Winchester 12 Guage with 1 Oz slugs has 2,400 ft pounds.
    My Winchester 30-30 has 2,000 ft pounds.
    My Beretta 9mm I used as a cop had 400 ft lbs on average.
    The .22 caliber CCI Stinger I used to use to legally hunt deer with almost 35 years ago has 191 ft lbs. (Laws have since changed in EVERY state and I don't think deer hunting with .22 rimfire is legal anywhere now.)
    My Benjamin Prowler NP has 30 ft lbs of energy. I've killed coyotes with it.
    So... this rifle has 1.5 times more energy than a standard 9mm handgun, and *20 times the energy of a .22 cal Benjamin Prowler.*
    Ok. Again, I'm sold.

      Hey man, I’m so sorry to hear about the tough times, but I absolutely love and agree with that wonderful point of view of yours.
      Suffering in this world has no limits and it presents its self in a million different forms. The ONE thing that we all have in common is suffering, no one is spared. And I think the only thing that can get us out of it is reducing the time and focus we give to it.
      So welcome back, sounds like you’re right on top of the game with the new GK1… keep it up and shout out for anything!

    Hey dude..
    This gun is a real monster.. It flew very fast to 80 yards..wow!..
    It's a good thing that a herd of bison didn't pass by when you shot the video.
    Otherwise, one of them would be sizzling on the barbecue right now.
    But in the meantime, imagine that this rifle fires "exploding bullets" to 80 yards.. amazing!..
    (I think I'm going crazy)..

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hahaha you and me alike, are going crazy!
      I kept looking for them buffalos, but all I could find is ravens and alligators. Lucky them I’m an animal protector and not killer 🤠
      But did you see that?? 80 yards!!! I was so proud of my self! And the gun. And the scope….

    • @mecanomy
      @mecanomy 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I prefer this rifle to the M4..
      Because although this gun is much slower than the M4, it throws "asteroid" pieces that are incomparably larger than the M4's bullet.
      His energy is frightening. He changes the places of the targets he cannot penetrate.

    • @BluegrassBigBoreairguns
      @BluegrassBigBoreairguns 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah the Elite is a regulated reboot of the Challenger Bullpup but it's regulator gives you really good shot count and accuracy it takes the power away from it. While the regulator gives the same psi per shot while it's om the reg the max power dumps as much air as possible allowing it to give alot more power than the elite model but its for power not as much accuracy, that being said the elite is very nice I carry that too

    That's the only .50 cal repeater I know of.... well, besides the 2 shot Umarex Hammer, in which you have to slide the magazine to the next shot. The magazine probably just needs a stiffer spring. Other (lighter caliber) big bores I've seen don't use those spring loaded magazines like that, probably because they'd need too strong of a spring to make it reliable. My .30 caliber Hatsan BT65 Carnivore uses a magazine that's rotated by the action of the cocking lever.
    It's nice that it's true .50 caliber, the bullets for which are a lot less expensive than the .510 bullets used in many big bores. I'm sure the magazine is a limiting factor on what bullets are going to work in it. Is there a single shot tray for that gun? It would be a nice option, and make it much more flexible with ammo selection. Even if they don't offer one, I'm sure someone is going to 3D print them and sell them on eBay eventually.

      Thus, in flat terrain, you can load to the suggested "rifle carriage" , such "50 cal." sniper rifle- for easy carrying around, if the distance was great..

    Dude, not bad for an air gun, but 9 lbs. is not much at all, well at least by MY standards. I served in the Canadian Reserves way back about 30 years ago or so, and our rifle was called the C1, ( the FN FAL) chambered in 7.62mm x 51mm and that gun weighed in at 9.283 lbs. empty without a magazine in it, and when fully loaded with one in the chamber as well as a fully loaded magazine, weighed in at 11.341 lbs. not to mention the extra magazines you had to carry as well as all of your other kit. When we finally got the C-7 (the M16A3) they felt like they were plastic toys by comparison and had virtually zero recoil compared to the C-1 as well. They were so incredibly light After using the C-1 for so long, the C-7/8 felt like my old .22 rifle and was not too far off the mark considering the 5.56mm NATO round was only 3 thousandths of an inch bigger than my .22 gopher gun. and it was actually lighter since my .22 rifle was an old post WW2 Czech BRNO TGF military training Rifle. (LOVE THAT GUN!) still have it too! will pass it down to my son when he's old enough. so, a 9lbs. .495 air rifle with a built-in air tank seems about right. I betchya don't want to know what a standard Barret M-82A .50BMG rifle used by the military weighs. It's actually over 32 lbs. LOL I had the supreme pleasure to be able to shoot one of Canada's McMillan Tac-50 rifles once, and it blows my mind how much that thing kicks Wish I had shot the Tac-50-R1 with the hydraulic shock absorbers in the buttstock, but you could castrate a tick at 900 yards without breaking a sweat, nor killing the tick, if you so desired. Ever see the movie "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg? The scene where he is shooting a can of food on a mountain, from another mountain...he is using a McMillan Tac-50. I LOVE THAT RIFLE! but man are they expensive they cost more than I paid for my car! The greater part of $12,000 USD. Too rich for MY blood, I'm a poor boy who paid no more than $300, for any rifle in my selection, most of which are surplus but from all over the world. an Air gun that shoots .495 cal. rounds is something I never expected to see in my life, but it is super cool they exist, so they must be considerably quiet compared to a firearm, yes? it's hard to tell from the Video since you dampen the sound. so how does it compare to regular firearms, if you know?
