Kara's theme represents pure emotion (someone fleeing), while Connor's represents a machine like efficiency (something hunting).The symbolism kills me... (I'm incredibly rushed right now and I can't really write out a well thought description. Sorry that it sucks, lol.)
I disagree for Connor's theme. In his theme, you can hear glitches. To me, it doesn't represent the efficiency of a machine, but more like pure and raw hunting, almost like a game in itself, between fear and courage
SleepyPuddle 6 for me in connors theme. At points I will agree, it feels like he is. A predator hunting prey. But also there are parts that are slow he is realizing that there may be glitches in his system or that his software isn’t complete. Like in the end of him theme it feels like he as finally broken down his programming. Yet through out his whole theme it is tense.

I'm in orchestra and can I just say, anyone who is a patron of the arts or someone who appreciates music, _loves_ this game. The music in it is so good at captivating the emotions we're feeling _while_ things are happening on screen. You can really _feel_ the emotions the characters display when they express them. The music in this game is some of _the best_ emotional music I've ever seen in my life.

It's so weird when I hear Kara's theme, all I can think of is bravery and protection. It makes me feel safe. When I hear Connor's theme, all I can think of is the importance of something. It's almost suspenseful. Hearing them together made me feel both ways. Almost like...like in the movies when someone has to leave someone else behind. The person they're leaving behind is telling them to hurry and do what they need to and it's hard for whoever is being told this. Perseverance. That's the word I'm looking for. Strength and bravery are key and that's what I feel when hearing this. It's amazing that music can do such things. Make you think of these things. I love this so much. Thank you for making this.

The tension between the two themes creates a new complex feeling for me, like a tug between the two perspectives. I feel like it belongs to someone who is forced by circumstance to leave behind another who they love in order to fulfill a goal that is paramount, and being faced with the realization that life may not be worth living without them being there anymore. This is why I love music and the creators that use it to its fullest in a medium like movies or games. They have that in one of the tracks! Y’know that scene you can get where Connor is literally chasing Kara and Alice? It's so weird when I hear Kara's theme, all I can think of is bravery and protection. It makes me feel safe. When I hear Connor's theme, all I can think of is the importance of something. It's almost suspenseful. Hearing them together made me feel both ways. Almost like...like in the movies when someone has to leave someone else behind. The person they're leaving behind is telling them to hurry and do what they need to and it's hard for whoever is being told this. Perseverance. That's the word I'm looking for. Strength and bravery are key and that's what I feel when hearing this. It's amazing that music can do such things. Make you think of these things. I love this so much. Thank you for making this.
I agree with you they have done a great job with the music because the choice of music really connects you with these characters and they create feeling that impact the choices you make in the game...

The tension between the two themes creates a new complex feeling for me, like a tug between the two perspectives. I feel like it belongs to someone who is forced by circumstance to leave behind another who they love in order to fulfill a goal that is paramount, and being faced with the realization that life may not be worth living without them being there anymore.
This is why I love music and the creators that use it to its fullest in a medium like movies or games. The fact that I can think of so many examples that are at the same time so different in utilization is astounding. It's so adaptive

They have that in one of the tracks! Y’know that scene you can get where Connor is literally chasing Kara and Alice? The song that plays during it is called Run With Me and it’s primarily Kara’s, but in the background towards the middle of the song, Connor’s track can be heard like he’s stalking them. It’s pretty cool!
