Yeah, I can't take her when she is being a disaster. Some people love it and find it cute, my OCD meter just pings and it stresses me to watch her be the "cute clutz". But her pallet and whiskey knowledge has gone through the roof. She is a smart lady and I enjoy her notes, but when they "cast" her into this silliness I just can't take it.
A drink I would highly recommend is the Tipperary, it's a riff on the Manhattan. Irish whiskey, Green Chartreuse, Antica Formula sweet vermouth and bitters.
Going to be making that avacado margarita today, will give an update on the end result! So I made one and unfortunately my avacado was too ripe and my jalapeno was too spicy. I'll have to try again but overall still an ok drink (might be user error).
They are in Texas, they have a bias towards Bluebell. During the decade I lived there, I noticed how incredibly high said bias was. Stores would have half their ice cream sections made up of Bluebell.

I lived in that same area for over a decade and all the locals I knew had a clear bias since it was the "Texas ice cream". Not saying it is not good, just that if you tried several or made you own you would find it is not all that other than it being local.

Plenty of irish descendants down there in American SouthWest who need to learn.
Jameson also has a cold brew whiskey that already tastes like Jameson and black coffee mixed together if you want and even less sweet and less creamy version.
