I KNOW RIGHTTTTT IT’S SO!!!!!! So!!!! 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭💖💖💖💖💖 ugh I love it so much. Pretty sure it’s influenced by Elgar’s style of composing, which makes it extra special to me!
Very interesting cover! It colours the emotional sound of the composition in a different way, adding new emotions of a kind of ‘home’ feeling and longing for it. In this version near the end of the song, there is more of a sense that all ‘lost’ people will sooner or later find peace and return to a place they can call ‘home’. At least to me, as someone in a similar situation, it seems that way. "Please grant them eternal rest and may the light always shine upon them".. Thank you so much for creating this cover!
;o; That is such a wonderful interpretation of the music, and I'm so so glad that my playing evoked these kinds of emotions for you - and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts like this, I can't tell you how much that means to me! Thank you so much, and I hope life treats you well 💖
Do you mean because of the vocal part? I was playing with the thought of singing that myself, but then decided against it because the cello can also sing beautifully u v u
Oh I see! Yes playing with a string quartet would be super nice haha, though I think it wouldn't quite manage to hold up to the magnificence of the original track - it'd have to be an octet still imo hehe
this song is way too good, it just never gets old for me❤️ there's just somethinf about this track that makes it stand out with all the phrasing and instrument combination with vocals you absolutely GLORIFIED this song! thank you for this, i definitely now have a cover to listen to!
AGREED! It hits so different from many other OST tracks, it really holds a special place in my heart 🥹 Thank you so so much, that honestly means the world to me 😭💖
YAY IT'S FINALLY HERE :D It was so worth waiting for and I think rerecording everything was also totally worth it if the end result was this good! I can't believe this one has 8 cellos though, oh my gosh I can't imagine how long it took lol Not gonna lie, when I heard you were gonna do a Remuria cover a few weeks ago it finally made me go finish the quest and fully explore everything which I really enjoyed. Remuria/Petrichor was such a special little place with a lot of meaning and I think you really reflected that in your cover :)
;o; dude you always make me cry with your lovely comments!! Thank you so so much 🥹💖💖💖 I knew straight away I wanted this to be for 8 cellos just to capture the sheer magnificence of the build-up towards the very end! And yes omg it took ages to parse everything - and actually the worst one was the middle bit around 1:12 - 1:22 because I could NOT figure out what was going on with the time signature and those insanely high intervals in the harp and ghsfjkghfj man it gave me a headache HAHA but it was so worth it. And in the end it was much easier to play then to write 😂 Also omggg that is actually such an honour 🥺 I'm really happy you enjoyed the quest and the region, and to have motivated you to finish it in the first place!! I love going back down there just to enjoy the ambiance and the music... Kinda similar to Enkanomiya, but with a lot more of a hopeful note 💖
@@LittleLyre oh wow! thanks for giving some insight into your arrangement process. it sounds so natural when it's put together it's almost hard to imagine all the pain you had to go through to transcribe everything :"D i appreciate all the effort you put into making these wonderful covers which is why i always love commenting on them hehe i also really love going back to Enkanomiya for no particular reason! the sub-region areas are always so ethereal and calm despite their heavy lore, it's part of why i like genshin so much :)
My desire to play remuria is being solely carried by you
It is my honour 😌💖
This piece is so 😭😭😭 something about those opening notes🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@LittleLyre no, I actually was imagining more of a quartet when I heard you play in this vid.
