Just for my own sake of mind:
This is a *reaction* video not a thought out analysis; I was immediately saying what I was thinking / feeling while watching - my opinions on scenes and characters will change as I continue to think deeper about this episode. Some have already changed over night as I’ve talked to other people within the fandom about this episode.
I just wanted to clarify as I was thinking about the potential reactions this video could cause.

I believe it was a very clear statement, not something u really have to think about. If you didn’t understand in the moment that’s fine I just wanted to make sure u understand it now.

The part about how people care bc they throw the hate party is very relevant. They had to have cared about him to grow hatred towards him and be this mad at him. If they never cared they would have never been upset or gone this far because of how he hurt them.

Relevancy wasn’t the correct word, I’ll admit to that. I do think though that that scene was a good example of more miscommunication (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as that’s how it was supposed to come across), because Stolas’s comment didn’t help Blitzø understand that he’s been cared for by people. Equating someone hating you present time isn’t the best way to communicate that people care to someone as abused as Blitzø. It was a phenomenal scene that showed miscommunication that will ideally be smoothed out in future episodes once Blitzø and Stolas both acknowledge their poor actions/statements to one another.

In "Just Look My Way" Solas talks about Blitz maybe having a wall up but he doesn't know or why. Stolas hasn't asked, it seems, and or Blitz hasn't told him about his past. I agree Blitz should have sympathy, I think most characters in the show just do not know why Blitz is the way he is like the fans do or else they would care more, imo. Dramatic irony is what it feels like the show is going for.
Edit: amazing video!! Thank you ❤

Precisely! This show depends heavily on its dramatic irony when it comes to Blitzø, in particular. It’s going to be incredibly interesting to see when the other characters get to peak behind the curtain of his character, I look forward to it immensely.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for your comment. 🖤

Of course they don't understand him. As Blitz said, they all live in hell, and of course they are all a bit of an asshole. If they understood the Blitz and everyone would be happy and vomit rainbows, then why is it hell? That's the point. For example, It wouldn’t fit into selfcentered Verosika nature, Verosika only thinks about this whole situation:
    1. She is a fool for daring to admit her love for Blitz, because for the first time in her life she opened up to someone. That is, after Blitz dumped her, she blamed herself for it, just like Blitz, but she didn’t understand it. She thought that Blitz was just behaving this way with everyone, which is logical, since love is also far away for her, since she is a succubus and Asmodeus’ politics, which affects everyone, although Asmodeus himself later turned out to be in love.
    2. By throwing a party, she only proved to herself that Blitz behaves like this with everyone. And now her goal is to help others who blame themselves pass the trauma, since she also blames herself, this is her therapy mechanism. Like, Blitz isn't the center of the universe, why shouldn't she take care of herself first?
In the case of Stolas, he himself asks if he did wrong in relation to Blitz, and Verosika and Vortex convince him that "Blitz motherfucker". Verosika simply believes that she is helping Stolas survive what she experienced and move on. For her, Stolas is another case of Blitz’s behavior. But she doesn't think Blitz is a complete, unredeemable scumbag. Because she blames herself for the relationship too, but not for the reason you might want. She blames herself for believing what happened to her and Blitz everything could be serious in love. She blames herself for taking this step towards the Blitz. She blames herself for the fact that she should have realized that Blitz would not accept her love. Therefore, she considers herself a bad person when interacting with Blitz, because she should have understood that Blitz is not like that and being angry with him is the same as being angry in the Law of Nature, for example gravity. Like, why get angry at an apple that fell from a tree? If we continue this metaphor, then Verosika simply helps everyone stop blaming themselves for sitting under the apple tree and move on. She tells the apple tree to stop being an apple tree and become a raspberry bush, although logically she would rather tell the farmer to plant a raspberry bush.
In short, if the situation were ideal. That is, everyone understands each other, etc. Everyone who was harmed by the apple tree would help the farmer plant the raspberry bush. I'm not sure that Blitz will be alone in his journey, he has his team, which symbolically saved him in the previous episode, when Stolas "dismissed" Blitz. And I think that there will be a situation when Stolas understands the Blitz and joins in planting the raspberry bush. Just not right away, of course. Not everyone here is a completely selfless(selfless here in a bad sense. I mean that different thinking is also toxic. You don't have to stay and endure or be your partner's therapist. This is an even worse lesson, since people like Blitz could be even worse. And no matter what traumas they have, it’s better not to completely expose yourself and cripple yourself) Mary Sue
