Thank you for this. What I know is that anyone, myself included, that dotes time on being judgmental and negative is taking away from the limited time we have to gravitate toward what makes us happy. Nothing will ever work for everyone but I count myself lucky that you resonate with my work! 💜

We're all different. Not all solutions are universal - however, this sleep meditation is scientifically solid. It has worked EVERY time I've listened; I'm never awake by the time Michelle finishes speaking - and I STAY asleep.
I've been learning to cope (slowly) with an anxiety disorder. It makes it very difficult to fall back to sleep when I wake up at two or three. This one meditation has solved the problem.
Thanks a lot for producing such an effective tool. I appreciate you sharing your own experience with sleep issues as well.
You have the perfect voice and technique (for me) for creating tranquility.

Let’s face it if I didn’t comment you’d miss me! If people produce 80,000 thoughts a day my brain probably triples that. I’m not going to try and count them thank you. I’ve accepted this from brainy. I really don’t have a choice and it does allow me to problem solve pretty well when it’s working right. I recently solved several books I’ve read very quickly and knew who the murderer was within minutes on the last will Trent show. But when thoughts go catastrophic then all goes to crap. I’m listening to this going a million miles an hour even though your voice is laconic and soothing even the pacing of words and the images are all over the place and I can’t grasp where this is going. I loved how you sighed. I don’t sight like that I sound like a dying patient. A giant Texas bed is vast real estate that I’ve never experienced and I’m Leary if I can replace my speedy negative thoughts by simply racing nice thoughts. On my third listen it dawned on me that I was. Of course you were providing the ammunition but I had surrendered to it. So yet again you made your point. I’ve embraced the world of opposites the yin and Yang the soft and hard the good the bad etc. Focusing on the softness or metaphorically the things that feel good is kind of myopic but then focusing on the hard is too. The longer I listen to you I start to believe that minimizing one and maximizing the other is healthier. A real epistemological event. Which may be an oxymoron I’m not sure. So, I liked it.

You know, I think about times when someone is leading a terrible conversation that just makes me feel lousy and has no objective beyond focusing on negative things. It's taxing. And I change the subject or stop engaging. I realized, we have to do the same thing when WE are the ones creating and perpetuating miserable conversations with ourselves and can change the topic. If energy is currency, I certainly don't want to spend money on unpleasant experiences, so why spend the energy. Of course it sounds easy when distilled, but it's really a daily (hourly, minute-by-minute) practice.

Sometimes when extolling a negative diatribe all that I need is a hug and “everything’s going to be ok” which is an even simpler distillation. Negativity seems to me to be a defense mechanism. Guarding against something primordial maybe loss of hope or trauma or some “looking through glass darkly” not sure. One day I’ll figure it out. Then most likely get hit by a bus!

Quite a lot of time spent on... over-explaining, not enough on the actual therapeutic part. No induction. Not sure what to think about this, other than that it's well intended.

Isn't it a bit hypercritical to complain that they spent an extra day at the end of building Lorville to put in moving forklifts and make it look more realistic then you complain that they did not spend spend more time making the forklifts actually do real work and use proper doors that nobody will see? I guarantee that if nothing was moving at all then you would have said 'it is a shame they made a warehouse but did not bother to make anything move so now it looks unrealistic.' 😅

Melissa, I wonder why (if you do not feel that Michelle’s incredible work has helped millions and has incredible value) do you continue to listen ? So you can make negative comments ? The insightful lady who created these wonderful sleep meditations does not need your negativity and neither do the millions of people who find her gift incredible and helpful to every one of us. With millions of voices saying “Thank you Michelle”,
      Your voice fades ….
