Oh my goodness! I did not realize snow could do so much damage. Praying for strength for you and Don as you clean up♥️ praying for your special tree and praying your property is even better than before. Praying protection over y’all♥️. In Jesus Name♥️🕊⚔️ It’s sweet that the Hares make a home out of the brush🩷 Have a great day💛☀️
It's weird, even with the storms that happen, nature is still as beautiful as ever, especially out there... I know mother nature rears her ugly head sometimes, but then God puts it all back together again. Y'all are doing a wonderful job... just don't work yourself too hard girl.. Hope ya have an amazingly blessed day! 💜🌹🤗🌻
Thank you Becca, I like that perspective ❤️ Our bodies have a way of reminding us that we aren’t as young and spry as we used to be. But……where there’s a will there’s a way 🤗 I hope you have a blessed day ❤️🙏❤️
I like the way you summed that up. After every storm , the sun will come out and the light will shine up on us. Definitely a lot of clean up required in the future. Take care
Lots of damage. Up here they chip small wood and brush but bigger stuff goes to a different dump. Thank you for the tour, Kat. You and Don stay safe and stay cool
Good morning Kat I’m watching your video while I’m having my morning coffee so sorry to see about all of those beautiful birch trees that are no longer going to be standing up straight anymore those two storms you had up there earlier this month was bad I. Myself had went up to my place after the second storm to clean off the roof and see if there was any damage but when I got up there the Sunday after the storm most of the snow was gone it melted as quickly I haven’t really been up to Maine in about a month or so except a few weeks ago when I went up there with my brother in law but I didn’t record anything but I’m hoping to go up there this weekend and open the camp up for the season I know I too have a lot of clean up myself but anyways you and don take care and god bless
Good Morning, it’s so good to hear from you. It’s been awhile and I’ve been hoping all is well. I know the birch will grow back, but it’s still too bad. Yes this last storm we had was a bugger of a storm and some people still have no internet. Everyone is still cleaning up, but a week later you would never of known it snowed. I’m glad you were able to get to your camp alright. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week!
Bless your heart lot of work your so right nature takes care of it.Bamboo so handy for gardening canes.Oh that tree 😢😢that's very sad im sorry for all the damage. Wow you have worked so hard ❤❤❤
Thank you Mary ❤️ My daughter’s maple tree lost a few limbs, and so far it looks like the apple tree my son planted years ago, will be okay (a little damage). It was an angry storm.
That storm did a lot of damage! Stuff like that, I plug away with thru the summer. Too bad about that tree that won't stand back upright that someone planted 😢. Nature, although beautiful at times, can be quite destructive!
Good Morning 🤗 Yes it sure did. We will be getting at it when we can. I was surprised I didn’t pick up any ticks after crawling through all that mess. Maybe they’re confused about the weather 🙂 I appreciate you stopping by my friend. God Bless ♥️
Oh my, so sorry Kat. That's a long time for people to be without Internet. That's really too bad you can't use a lot of it for your wood stove. God bless you guys and be careful. I pray clean up will go smoothly. 🙏🏼❤️
Our towns shreds & chips stuff eventually. And we have good brush & cut branches pick up.. those bent trees make trail look like a tunnel. God bless Don working 50 hr weeks . Good teamwork on clean up.that stuff you call bamboo may be the same junk we have growing in damp shady spots Japanese knot weed.
Hi Kat, If you want you could try to stand that tree back up, that was planted by your friend useing a sling and a come-along if you pull it up right for a few weeks it should stay take care😊💕🌲
Good Morning Del, This is where having a wood chipper would be handy. We will get through it, but it’s just going to take time. I thought of you and all that wood you cut all the time. It’s a lot of work. Thank you for stopping by my friend!
@@inthebackyardwithdel438 Awe, thank you! You’re so kind! Most of these trees aren’t as big as what your used to, but they are all tangled, fallen over, and snapped off on the tops of some. I hope the spruce tree I planted 30 years ago will still grow without the top. I guess time will tell.
No Bamboo up here, Hope you can stand the special tree up with a post. We also have piles of Brush for animal shelters. So much work. You have amazing trees for wood for lathing Yikes the videos stalled hope they #21 like and comment sticks CYU U2
