- 24 Startups from Southeast Asia have gathered in Singapore to pitch for their share of seed funding worth up to one million dollars. This week, the journey continues with another 10 start-ups in the Quick Pitch Round: PharLyfe+, Goro, OneNorth.ai, Farmio, Octopus8, equo, Kabel, WeavInsight, I am Sustainable Studio and ArkoPay. They have only two minutes to present their ideas and convince the judges why they need to move to the next stage of the competition.
Ranging from groundbreaking ideas in healthcare to using AI to create video sense-making solutions, these 10 startups will be evaluated by resident judges: Roshni Mahtani Cheung (CEO and founder of The Parentinc), Lim Wai Mun (founder and CEO of Doctor Anywhere), and guest judge Ng Yeow Boon (Deputy Chief Executive of Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX)). Only 15 companies will proceed to Stage 2 - who will make the cut?

Great program by MediaCorp & Singapore Home Affair Ministry
The fractional investment platform is exactly the same product that was introduced in one of the shark tank episodes. Funny enough, all the sharks turn the business idea down due to red flags.
The business model is purely a MLM structure.
Exciting times in Southeast Asia's startup scene! 🌏
9:17 yeah! Robert Hoving from GORO I just searching this video to see how Robert introduce the GORO so we know the product and we sure to invest in property with only 1 dollar.
congratulation ArkoPay
Fractional properties and it start from bali. You know indonesia has a lot of problem with P2P investment and according to 2020-2023 indonesia has a lot of problem in property business and also many data said that bali is more expensive than bangkok and saigon. The more you know that jakarta is more expensive than bali so....
Indonesia has many complex rule of administration and not all region in Indonesia has proper properties that acomodate local and foreign tourist. So i think they should reconsidered range of properties that offered in that startup.
Because the fact that i mentioned before make its too segmented and small.
Agree. Goro sounds like some property investment scheme. Not new nor innovative?
Isnt it just REIT?
I love Singapore
Guru speaks say they would invest in a company if there is strong passion/fire in the founding team. Then the judges proceed to reject "I am Sustainable studio" pitch. This show is a definitely No for me
Roshni needs to check if Indranee Rajah is her relative. The resemblance is uncanny!
“I find it crazy that we don’t have one. Such a line is standard worldwide, in countries rich and poor.”
Jamus Lim called for the establishment of an official poverty line, arguing that it needs to “go beyond just crude basic needs of housing, food and clothing”. Jamus Lim
