If you want to see their versatility, go look up Christmas Truce, or 1916. If you want more songs like this, try Defence of Moscow, No Bullets Fly, or The Red Baron. If you want more speed/power Metal, try Ghost Division or Night Witches.
The captain of the Sabaton ship is the son of the young sailor rescued from the sunken Bismarck. And he drops the clock at the position where Bismarck lies at the bottom of the sea
Definetly reccomend hearing a song in their native Swedish language. "En Livstid I Krig - live in Gothenburg" is an experience. Subtitles are good for getting the general meaning behind the song.
great reaction, more Sabaton please. Sabaton is a Swedish band with a loooong list of history based music. Sabaton also has an award winning history channel that gives background to over 120 if their songs (not music award, academic, aimed at education of the public) . You should watch the Sabaton History channel as it is the background to their songs (you can check it yourself and make a little comment after the song is finished) (they play parts of the song during the video so do it after you listen to the song and the songs is the whole video as it is usually a tribute to the soldiers who died)
To get a crosscheck you should start with -'En livstid i krig' live from the Great Tour in Gothenburg. (Turn on the subs) -'No bullets fly' the animated story video. -'Christmas Truce' official music video. (And for the love of good, make sure to watch it to the end, otherwise you will will be scolded to the end of day. ...and this is just to begin with. There are so many good songs from them. (Just make sure to choose the right version, for the best experience) Liked your reaction!
Most definitely.....and all of the sabaton songs. They include dedications at the very end. If you want to see a video where young, old and the disabled (especially the deaf) watch "Devil Dogs" official live
I really like Sabatons "Soldiers of heaven" but when it comes to Sabaton it gets hard to choose I do like their history channel too (but a bit to long videos for a reaction perhaps) ..their "Seven pillars of wisdom " official music video is also cool (and if you know that the band actually crached in their car on their way back and was pretty brused up ( broken ribs, brused fingers and injured legs and so on ) to the point that hey had do cancel a gig ..then its gets even more intriguing. ..suggestion for other artist ..easy ..in this video the guitarist that had the solo just recently quit the band (amicably) to persue his own band and career ..why not take a look at him (does a lot of covers on YT under the name Tommy Johansson ..you just choose something that speaks to you ..they are all good ..just a matter of taste ) ...his band is named "Majestica" ( previously known as "ReinXeed" ) ..the song "Above the sky" is usually a good introduction to this band unless its christmas then I would highly suggestion their "A Christmas Carol" album
never end 1 of there video's till the very end, also with the 80th anniversary of D-Day june 6th coming up. in honor of that you should do their song "Primo Victoria" which is about that event. ALSO they have there very own "Sabaton History Channel" were they give you the history of the event they are singing about. a must watch if you want to fully understand what your listening too
For all the shipt state of the art tech. It took Swordfish torpedo ( WW1 type planes in the video) planes to damage him enough to tracked down and sunk.
Bismarck wast the largest ship ever created of its time.. and Germans were proud.. Churchill stated that, no matter what it takes, the ship must sink... which did create few interesting cases but also.. ship which was made to sail 7 seas.. english did everything to sank the beast. Succeeded. But heroism is not political.
Yamato had a standard displacement of c. 64,000 tons and Bismarck had a standard displacement of c. 43,000 tons. At full load this increased to about 72,000 tons and 51,000 tons respectively.
Paying attention to the important details on Sabaton's mv's is a must.
You cut off before the tribute. War knows no nation. Dedicated to those that fought to the bitter end in the Battle of the Atlantic.
Its real. No borders, just people dying
war knows no nation This video is dedicated to those who fought to the bitter end in the battle of the Atlantic, if you want it in full.
NEVER EVER cut a sabaton song short ALWAYS let it play through so you dont miss out on the best ending
If you want to see their versatility, go look up Christmas Truce, or 1916. If you want more songs like this, try Defence of Moscow, No Bullets Fly, or The Red Baron. If you want more speed/power Metal, try Ghost Division or Night Witches.
There is cross-pollination between Nightwish and Sabaton. The Sabaton drummer is married to Floor.
"No Bullets Fly" - animated
Oh i never knew this!

I concur
I concur
Gotta watch sabaton vids all the way through. They like to sneak stuff in the last little bit sometimes.
As a side note here, the name they gave the boat at 2:43 is taken from an older song by the band, from the older setup of the band.
oh nice!!
great reaction, more Sabaton please.

I love the connection you did between this guitar solo, and Avenged Sevenfold. Sabaton and A7X are my two favorite metal bands.

In my honest opinion, Sabaton is a modern bard.
For all the shipt state of the art tech. It took Swordfish torpedo ( WW1 type planes in the video) planes to damage him enough to tracked down and sunk.
Time to react to the Christmas Truce!!!
You should react to more Sabaton, I suggest their animated yarnhub videos. “No bullets fly “ “Night witches “ or” Lady of the dark”
Yea, Jonathan has done at least 4 Sabaton covers, 2 of them are the Sabaton songs you've checked out. 🤘😎
He’s incredible and such a sweetheart! ❤️
And the downing Point of the Battleship Bismark is still kept as a Graveyard... May these Sailors rest in Peace
Not sure if was intentional or not, but you released your reaction to Bismarck on the anniversary of when it sank (May 27, 1941). lol.
Many of their official videos are close captioned, look out for that in the future
Speaking of videos looking like scenes from a movie. "Fields of Verdun" is a must if you decide to do more.
Bismarck was really a beast. It takes almost one day for whole british army to destroy only one battleship .The Bismarck
I like to call Sabaton, Valor Metal. I recommend the 1960 movie "Sink the Bismarck"
Thanks from sweden on your reaction to Sabaton 😍
I saw them in concert last month, opening for another little band you may have heard of.. Judas Priest
OH DANG
It was definitely an old school music video wasn't it loved the song it was really good.
Christmas Truce got to be the next Sabaton video
Wolfpack is another Sabaton song, about a battle at sea.
Or
Dreadnought
Follow the kompass from start to the end.and Always check sabaton videos to end.🇫🇮🇸🇪🤟
Recomend this music of Sabaton
40-1 (Live In Poland)

This is history. Bismark was Germanys war machine. Real ship
Bismarck wast the largest ship ever created of its time.. and Germans were proud.. Churchill stated that, no matter what it takes, the ship must sink... which did create few interesting cases but also.. ship which was made to sail 7 seas.. english did everything to sank the beast. next time try to Night Witches - Animated story video, its more faster and harder than this one, with full story
Please next reaction Sabaton - Dreadnought ❤
adding it to my list!
@@SlayWithBrandy This is great, thank you very much🥰
You are so so gorgeous, love you ❤️❤️❤️ your Threads are amazing xx
If anything, Sabato would have been idols of Avenged Sevenfold. They have been around for a bit.
Well, as both band were formed in 1999, I'd say neither.
They probably get their inspiration from similar sources.
I want your reaction to "en livstid i krig" by sabaton
Personally if you want to hear a song never watch the live performance its never the same as listening to the proper version.
Check out Fields of Verdun.
Hardly no one ever reccomends this one. This was one of the first song I heard by them and what got me into Sabaton.
If you are going to react to Sabaton, you should really talk about the subject of their songs.
Much better than Avenged Sevenfold. Sorry but sorta not sorry 😂.
It’s crazy how people are allowed to have opinions.
Not headbanging to this is simply not possible :)
