I returned mine because I got it on Amazon and it specifically said it was 4K when in fact it's 1080p but if You connect a 4K device to it, It can display the image so if you run a 4K disc on a 4K player it will play it but it will only display it in 1080p. Also the first time I set it up I noticed a small black spot on the screen. This unit isn't protected against dust and you will have to open it and clean it out after each use. I'm not really into all that I just want a projector that doesn't get dusty in the inside so I returned it.
This is common with a lot of projectors. You have to look at the native resolution specs, that is the max resolution it will display. 4k just means you can input 4k video but it will still be the native 1080p resolution.
It's nice but having the JBL options is a no no for me, just raises up the price tag. Most people have sound systems already for it or a soundbar and so on. Maybe good for people who carry it around with them all times? By the way having a cat sitting on your projector is very bad idea, lots of hair into the system can cause a lot of damaged. looks like Yaber addressed the stupidity of having excessively noisy fan and single speaker on the K1 - but then they've let this one down on design for keeping dust out of the unit. in your video and in other reviews, you can physically SEE dust being sucked into the lens surround! i wanted either of these units for their picture quality but yet again Yaber shoot themselves in the foot! after comparing dozens of competitors products, this is soooooo annoying.
