Hi, I've played all sorts of games except a cycling manager game. After a long doubt, I bought it to experience this. I am very happy to have found your tutorials which help me a lot to understand this game. It is certainly not easy, but with these guides it should become easier. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to watching all your episodes!

On a side note if you click the calendar next to continue then you can choose the day and fast forward to it - without having to hit space and end up in a random day. Also if there are races before the chosen day they are simulated.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try to add that to an upcoming video.

Nice man, question when looking to sign riders.. what stats should i be looking for on for certain riders? For every type of rider. ie stage racer/puncher/sprinter/cobbles etc. Not sure which are the most important stat apart from the obvious ones :)

I haven't covered any of the Career options yet in this series. But, one of the great things about PCM--it's a sandbox to some extent. You can choose what you'd like your team to pursue. And, your sponsor will have something to say about it, as well.
With that said, you can never go wrong with good stamina and resistance--they apply to everything. My idea Pro Cyclist rider would be high MTN, FLaT, STaMina, RESistance (and recovery--I like stage races). Secondary, I'd look at DownHIll, ACCeleration, SPRint. COBblestone isn't important for the things I like to pursue. BARoudeur is difficult to gauge; I don't know if an exceptional Baroudeur can really stay out front significantly more easily than a normal rider. But, I can see the effects of Sprint, MTN, etc.
Hope that helps. I'm hoping to eventually cover building a career team. But, you may want to check out DecathlonGamer--he's got a great series going there.

I have 2 questions: what do the vertical bars to the right of the water bottle indicate, and when you "protect" a rider, why is the shield sometimes green, sometimes orange, sometimes red? Thank you for your time

Hi there. The 3 bars to the right of the water bottle, and left of the current command represent your position in the current group--top means you're in the front, bottom means you're close to the back.
For the shield--I've never really noticed it has colors before--I'm a touch colorblind. But I'd think it represents the efficiency of the shield (closer/better is likely green). My understanding is that physical location (upwind, downwind, etc.) doesn't actually matter as much as proximity.

Is there a big difference between this game and pro cycling manager 2019? I don't see many reasons to upgrade because I don't play career

I think this is a good question. I believe the training system is different, from what I remember. Depending on who you ask, the AI has either gotten better or worse. What I noticed, I've been able to make it on a break away in PCM22, on a few occasions. In previous editions, I had only done that one time. Some of that could be I have more experience now. It's hard to tell. I also feel like you see more time differences in final results (fewer s.t.). However, it's still nothing like it was several versions ago.

@@mochad thanks, I mostly care about ai behaviour, because in pcm2019 Bardet or Bernal always win 😂. So I won't upgrade yet, thanks

Game is bugged beyond playability. The first stage you race is just repeated on all days. I just had 8 days of riding in Québec in a race located in Poland. Robbed of my money with this game.

Sorry to hear that. There are problems with the game, but I've not experienced what you're having happen. I have not continued the series for a while, in part due to a data corruption in my playthrough. I will continue it, just trying to decide how to proceed.

It is still full of bugs from way back in 2014.
They keep adding shit but don`t fix anything.
