Few things are more gratifying to a paper lover &/or crafter, than finding ways to use all of your supplies- event tiny bits the some might consider useless garbage.
In this video I'm sharing a few of the things I've made using just scraps- yay!
It's part 1 of a 2 part video just to try to keep the time as short as possible- I don't think I have every uploaded a 30 minute video before- yikes! I hope you get some ideas from this video- please tag me if you create anything, I'd love to see!

My economical tip is to buy sets of cards at Jo-Ann or Michaels on sale for like $0.10 apiece in boxes of 40. Then I cut off the fronts and mix and match the fronts with any of the the backs for matting on white cardstock. Sometimes I fussy cut out an entire central design on the front and use that as a pop-up. Because you get several of the same design in a pack like that you have lots of options as to how to use the pattern side versus the blank backs. Sometimes both sides are patterned so that's a win-win for your options!

Great tip but those sale items in Joann and Michaels never last long. I always go there and shelves are always empty, sadly. I always missed it 😢

So, so cute!!! I use Project Life cards for tons of projects. Cut the down, punch them into shapes, layer, embellish, the possibilities are unlimited!
So true! I love PLC’s so much- it’s hard to resist buying them when I find them on sale, even though I know darn well I already have way too many! They’re so useful!!!

These are so great! I love the small embellishments and making my own . I struggle with allowing myself to go wild/ random, and I over analyze each thing I try. Or then I get itch from it being messy and I go back to simple or minimal things , when others have such an awesome layering game!

I’m glad you found it helpful! Process videos tend to give the illusion that everything happens in minutes but they usually take time. This is why I like to work in batches. Not only do I get more out of the craft session but I find that the more I make, the more relaxed I become/ the more creative I get. Happy making of all the things! Thanks for being here.

Love the little laminated card! This would be great for crops because I do use washi on my scrapbook pages, just accents. These little cards would would lighten my crafty supplies by quite a bit! Thank you for the inspiration.
