I love this process!! At the beginning of each crafting season, I set out items to create different projects I have in mind. Most are inspired by other crafters as well! I get inspiration watching this process!! ❤
It was interesting to watch you procedure of what went where. It's a good lesson for someone that has issues of putting prints, shapes etc. together. My OCD, likes tosay no that doesn't go with that. I've always done a print with a solid. Doing quilting, kinda helped me step out of my box. Going to have to see what I have in my stash, or make some, and try this. THANKS for sharing. It was enjoyable to watch. Also, when my glue tip acts up, I take it off and I run it under warm water to wash it out, and run a pin down thru it. ty again
As someone who tends to overthink when crafting, I understand you. It was really fun to assemble these embellishments and not think about it too much. And I like every one of them, go figure! Junk journaling has been good for helping me overcome perfectionism. Thanks for the tip on unsticking the glue tip! I'm glad you're here, Laura! ❤❤
Careful, it's a slippery slope... that's how I ended up here! 😉 JK, glad you enjoyed the video and welcome to the world of junk journals (and my channel)! ☺💖
I got all of those little scraps off of my table and onto these cute embellishments. I think these have been my favorite way to make clusters that I have tried. Nice to use up a bunch of my punched out shapes, too (finally). 💖
I always enjoy cluster embellishments. Thanks for sharing yours. And there is no reason to be mindless about it, make what you love! I think stapling is the smartest way, you can pick it up and staple everything at once, then glue one item over the staple. Not efficient to glue each layer when you are mass making.
These were so fun and easy to make! I tend to overthink things so it was liberating to grab and staple pieces together without putting too much thought into it. I agree, gluing each one would have been too much! Thanks for watching, Zyn Zane! 💖
Happy Friday Marci💕 Awesome collection of clusters and fabulous way to use up our scraps. This week I have been going through my stuff and I'm shocked at how much premade die cuts I have. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a beautiful weekend, take care. 🤗
It does, thank you, Betty! It's a great encouragement to know that my videos are still being watched and providing inspiration many months later. It's one of the blessings of TH-cam. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 💖
Thank you for sharing Marci! Currently, am working on a journal book out of paper bag to document my kids bday. And I like watching The Posh Paper Lady and The Paper Outpost….
Thank you, Redet! I like Pam too, but can't watch her without earphones b/c the bird noises bother my dog. But she has so many ideas! I've watched Posh Paper Lady a little bit, but could certainly watch more. She does a variety of crafts, I think. Thanks for the suggestions! 💖
Olive green is an excellent color, for accent, neutral, fits a lots of themes (masculine, safari, outdoors, any like travel or earthy themes) I say this as I’m wearing an olive green tank top 😂 These were really cute and good way to use scraps! I think the colors you choose were the right balance between “neutral” and “bright” those are all great colors that go with a lot of styles even the brighter reds/pinks and blues. & I feel like many greens are an universal neutral .
And I really like the flying ant!! I love bee 🐝 designs and he looks kinda cool. I’m tired of all the butterflies and birds that come in everything, so it’s a cool twist
I went through my wardrobe recently and chose the colors that I want to wear regularly. Olive green pants/shorts are a must have. It goes with so many colors. Can't have all black in my closet (not that I do, but you know what I mean). You keep wearing that olive tank top with pride! 😄 Thank you for your kind comments and for watching! 💖
@@silverhoney6969 Well now I'm sorry I discarded him in the end. But he needs to be his own centerpiece I think. I found another one recently on a scrap in my stash. Now I have 2 flying ants!! 🐜🐜😆
That is an excellent question, Cathy! I know I have used them on some things I made, but can't remember which video. I'll do some looking and come back to let you know. 😊
Looks like a lot of fun, but I would probably be just like you with too much thought. It is difficult to not see colors and what coordinates. You can always add a sticker, flower or piece of gauge over the staple, when you use it.
Cute clusters! I don’t really have any suggestions about new people to watch. I try to watch smaller channels because I know the struggle! 😅❤ Oh!!! Do you watch Chasing Retro, very cute things!!!
Meg has commented on my channel a time or two and I think I've watched a few of her videos. Great suggestion, I am going to make an effort to watch her regularly. 😊 I feel that I should clarify that this does NOT mean I will stop watching you and Pam. 😉💖
Cute clusters. Antenna? Don't you mean antlers, as Gayle would say? You might like Margreth at Sevenplaza? Viewing and just subscribed from Indianapolis. Take care. 😊🤗
I got a good chuckle out of Gayle's "antlers" comment in that video! 😄I really enjoy watching Margreth too, but haven't had the time of late to watch many crafty videos (sigh). Thanks so much for watching, commenting & subscribing, Patty! I'm glad you're here! 🥰💖
These turned out great, and you used up so many little pieces. Yes, watching you work through the process is half the fun, so take your time! Do you watch Diane Hubert? She uses mostly handmade ephemera and things she finds at flea markets.
I do watch Diane's channel, she's one of the original jj artists I first started watching. I enjoy watching her put all the pieces together. She has greatly influenced my style. 🤗💖
Great suggestions, thank you, Kristin! Louise has a wonderfully artistic eye and everything she touches turns out amazingly. Barbra is good too. I will be watching more of both of them, I'm sure. 💖
I love this process!! At the beginning of each crafting season, I set out items to create different projects I have in mind. Most are inspired by other crafters as well! I get inspiration watching this process!! ❤
There are so many ways to use these for decorating other projects. They are so fun to make! 💖

Thank you, Ramona! 😀💖

Careful, it's a slippery slope... that's how I ended up here! 😉
JK, glad you enjoyed the video and welcome to the world of junk journals (and my channel)! ☺💖
I love these so much! This is inspiration to bring out all the scraps and create some of these. Thank you for sharing this today Marci!

I didn't see Melina's video, but yours is awesome! Thank you!!
Awww, thank you, Tammie, you're very kind. 😊💖
I really like the way you stapled the cluster together then glued an embellishment over the staple.
Yes, I like to hide the staples when I can (and when I think of it... 😂 ) TFW! 🤗💖
I was worried about the staples 😅😅
Hi , I will try these today . I have so much scraps to use up.
Oh yes, they're tons of fun and so quick to make. 💖
I love these fun videos.
Thank you so much! There's more to come... 😊💖
Happy Friday Marci💕

I'm not surprised that you have a small stash of die cuts. I bet you could make dozens of these cute clusters! 😊💖
these are so fun! i think i might have to die cut my scrap box a bit and make some things like these! thanks for sharing.
Cutting up the scraps is so rewarding! Grab those scissors & punches and have fun! ✂️💖
Love your videos❤
You did great!!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 💖
Nice embellishments 😀😍
Thanks, Lara! 💖
Just realized this video is six months old!! Should make you happy to know you’re still inspiring so many months later?? Blessings from Betty in Ohio.

Good job!
Thanks so much!
You could use eyelets to fasten them together and then something like a clip or a ribbon could be added to them.
That would be so cute! Thanks for the suggestion. 😊💖
thankyou it was fun try pam at the outpost she is great uses every day stuff for her journals cheers
Yes, I love Pam and all of her ideas! TFW Sandie!

Where do you get the hat pin for glue?
Hi Jonna! I looked on Etsy and searched for "glue bottle dangle" or similar and found one I liked. Thanks for asking!
Just subscribed 🙂
Thank you so much!

IKR? It's hard not to see which colors mix and match. Great tip on covering over the staple. I will remember that. TFW, Sheryl! 💖

Where are you in Idaho
I’m in SW Idaho, the Treasure Valley area.
I live in McCall . Are you near me ??
I'm in the Boise area, so kinda close. Do you have some good thrift stores up there? 💖
Sehr hübsch - schöne Grüße aus Europa - Doris
Danke, Doris! ☺💖
That metal tip is making your glue dry fast therefore it is clogging .
Ah, that makes so much sense! Thank you, Michelle! 💖
49Draginflies and Luise Heinzel are fun. More towards art journals.
Great suggestions, thank you, Kristin! Louise has a wonderfully artistic eye and everything she touches turns out amazingly. Barbra is good too. I will be watching more of both of them, I'm sure. 💖
Very dull
Very rude.
