      You are very welcome - great module :D

      I’m anti war but I support this Ukrainian module- so unique and soothing. They could have named it the Benzo, or the Tranq 😴

    Finally someone has done a proper Endless Processor video. Thank you. This enigmatic module, finally demystified.

    I had exactly the same 'is this all there is' experience, but when you gaze into the endless universe you just know it's enough. Beautiful module, and so much fun to hear you review it.

      Robin has a fresh, child like enthusiasm in the reviews of gear that really click for him. This vid will probably sell a lot of units. All his kudos well earned, I still crave the Cinematic treatment for another reviewer with a unique perspective. If you have time.

    I like it, it is really “modular” because it doesn’t do too much and makes you think how to combine it with some other stuff.

    Was intrigued the first time I saw it. Then I thought I can something similar and more with the Panharmonium, but that would of course be only one layer and it wouldn’t be as immediate and fun. This one might end up in my studio after all. Very nice demo. That part with the vocals gave me Underworld vibes. That’s a very good thing! 😊

    It pairs great with Worng's LRMSMSLR mid side module for the 2 channels.

    I know that it wasn't the point, but I'm sold. I'm going to sub, too. I absolutely love your presentation style.

    I wasn't aware of this module until I read your review in sound on sound and consequently watched this video. I've now backordered one as it fits perfectly into the objectives of a small skiff I have put together. Basically what I'm trying to say is watching your videos turns out to be quite expensive :-) Thanks for the good content - really enjoyed it.

    Wow when you started with the vocals, it REALLY sold me. The vocal sound is such a nice contrasting sound to the synth. Reminds me of Helene Vogelsinger a little. Just the way she incorporates vocals in modular.

    Reminds me a bit of the re synthesis engine on the Hologram Infinite Jets x2, but a bit stripped down

    To my ear it sounds a lot like the freeze function on reverbs that have a freeze option. Choosing different reverb algorithms before hitting freeze would sort of allow changing the character of the “capture” and playback also.

    I have one. I won't be selling it. My only gripe, sometimes the input volume comes through a little quiet...but when you hit that sweet spot..oh man or as you put it "but then, oh by golly but then..."

  • @farawaytree471
    @farawaytree471 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great review. I love it's simplicity, it is 'modular' at it's core, which fascinates me.

  • @ScottofOakland

    I was eyeing one of these. It seems like the kind of thing that would enhance my music.

  • @ryanstevens3822
    @ryanstevens3822 หลายเดือนก่อน

    real dumb question, but will it hold the sustain if you remove the input? I'm trying to make chords out of my deckard's voice and curious if ii could cheat it with this

  • @ScottofOakland

    Seems like a couple of EHX freeze pedals in a module

    Have you played with the expander yet? It's pretty incredible! Pitch shifting but it's not V/Oct so super experimental and jammable.

      Yes, both interesting and unexpected with a slight edge of disappointment

    Molten der endless p. Is a lovely module. I don’t know if you use the dusting ex!? ( with second big screen of course ) once you use the spectral freez algorithm, then you really know, what you should know……

    Brilliant module. I have yet to explore the drone/generative side of eurorack. I find it both intriguing and intimidating.

  • @scrampop3353
    @scrampop3353 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've played with both sets of options and have gone back to the stacked even though I have fun with moving between layers. The one trick I keep using, is pulling it thru Mod Medusa for some fun arp drones, plus a smidge of effects from Date Bender or MFX Bit Crusher beat repeat. A couple of wishlist items are: a bit more volume, have mine cranked all the way up and it's still a wee bit soft: a layer pot with detents or bit more of a clue that you have switched or are in a new layer.

    • @MoltenMusicTech
      @MoltenMusicTech  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, i concur with the volume - could also do with a bit of input level adjustment before the buffer. The layer led blink is cute but detents would be more reliable in a ive situation.

    • @davidrhodes6413
      @davidrhodes6413 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bought mine just at the time the new update was released. The stacked option can get very busy quite quickly so I've gone the other way and stuck with switching between layers for the minute

    Nice...I have a guitar pedal that does similar things; but a modular version would be grand

    • @techlab7
      @techlab7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm going to get one of these and put it in a pedal box and play with my other pedals. But what pedal like this do you have that works this way, I'm curios?

  • @VirtualModular

    Is this a spectral freeze, rather than looping sampled audio? I have a plugin that does that, never used it much. This seems useful for hardware setups though. I do like a good drone occasionally 😂

    • @MoltenMusicTech
      @MoltenMusicTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's resynthesis

    • @VirtualModular
      @VirtualModular ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MoltenMusicTech right, different terms for the same thing.The resynthesis is based on spectral analysis (I was bored enough to look it up!)....
      spectral resynthesis is the the process of audio being analyzed and then converted into a series of partials. It’s a similar principle to additive synthesis, because basically any sound can be made of sine waves. So, once a sound is converted to partials, those partials can be manipulated in various ways, to get different types of sounds. Common types of spectral effects are: Freeze, Blur, Stretch, and pitch shift.

    • @Grummycanader
      @Grummycanader 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah. I was thinking this sounded a lot like a freeze setting found in some reverb plugins/pedals/effects.

    • @VirtualModular
      @VirtualModular 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Grummycanader sounds similar, but I think it's resynthesised from a spectral analysis instead of using the original audio like a reverb freeze. Basically the same result though 😉

    i want it... but why so big of a module ?

    • @paulclement4222
      @paulclement4222 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Personally I like the size of it. Cramming as many featuers as possible into small spaces, as so many modules do, often makes them awkward to interact with.
