I’m always so amazed at how well the dogs who have never been groomed behave. Imagine their point of view - being sore and then someone grabs you and restrains you high up in the air… and comes at you with loud buzzing things near your sore spots. Then they put water all over you and get a loud machine and blow air on you.. all that on top of the fact they probably don’t have many good experiences with humans in general. Dogs are so amazing at coping. Thank you for helping them!!

Why all the whining about this being an "old" video? So what -- it's a great video. Well worth a revisit. Thank you, Damjan and Sonja, for all you do for these abused and neglected babies. ❤
Poor little guy. He is so brave That must hurt so much. All those ticks too, my god! So kind of you Damjan and Sanja to do so much for this stray dog. You gave him his life back. I would scrub his face more, there is usually fungus around the eyes, and chin - damp areas. I would also use a soft bristle brush to scrub the INSIDE of his ears and then flush them out with water. Don't be afraid to do this with rescues. There is a lot of build up of dirt, wax, dust, possibly mites inside the ear canal. As long as their ear drums are intact (not deaf), I'd scrub those ears inside out and flush them with lukewarm water and gentle spray. All the dirt loosens up and shakes out. Then you can follow up with ear cleaner. If you don't first wash them out, the ear cleaner has no effect on hardened dirt or ear wax. Nothing like soap and water. When they have a lot of fleas or ticks, dogs and cats have a serious risk of anemia. If left untreated, it can be lethal. The first thing I do with rescued animals, is to give them raw chopped liver, full of iron. Lots of fresh raw greens chopped up with raw meats, esp organ meats. Pork and poultry must be cooked. I also give raw beef bones or raw turkey necks as chew toys. For my homemade dog food, I slow cook chicken bones till soft then pulverize them in blender and add to my meat and veggie stew. This bone soup has gelatin, iron, calcium, protein, minerals - excellent for fast recovery. Gelatin makes the hair grow shiny and strong. Rescue work is very hard and demanding and exhausting. You both did a beautiful job on this little terrier! He looks silky now. Take care of yourselves. Thank you from California.

This is a re-post from last April but the dog being helped is so good and cute, so is his friend that I'm glad they've been adopted together by the same lady. I hope they're living a good, comfortable life in their loving home and not wandering the streets matted and miserable.
