Our grooming styles are almost identical. Start to finish. I would recommend putting a towel down during your first pass with the dryer. And using a smaller towel with your left hand as you dry each section with your right during the second pass. Also try drying most of the face and ears while the happy hoodie is still on. Once the happy hoodie is removed you’ll only have a tiny bit left to dry. This will reduce drying time as well. Excellent video and great techniques.

I have a 6 month old labradoodle and he’s got the curly hair and so I really didn’t realize how much hair he had until I decided to groom him myself! I purchased a vacuum cutter and it’s awesome! I’m just struggling with figuring out how to cut his face. Thank you for this!

What I admire most about your grooming technique is the way you focus on one area until perfection and then move on . I find my ADHD getting the best of me and I am constantly working on multiple areas at once! Ugh.
It definitely helps to get into a routine and stick to it! Easier said than done….

I always give 2 shampoos, and with all the people that don't want their doodles poodled we do lots of scissor work. We're booked solid, we just take the time, sux when you can't be creative and have fun

This is the most superb doodle groom I’ve seen . Very explicit fantastic instruction . Very detailed . I learned a lot ! I must say the dog was exceptionally patient , but then most doodles I’ve found to be really good to groom ! I really appreciated so much all the description of each tool as used . I found this video to be the most helpful of any I’ve ever seen . The gal doing the groom is amazing for sure ! Thank you so much !

I find that the Ultra Max Spray also seems to help dry the coat faster as well and I love the finished feel of the coat from it after. I'm a big fan of Best Shot products. Beautiful job as usual.

You do SUCH a thorough job and take the time to brush out the whole coat…. Unlike other groomers in You Tube who don’t brush and just shave them all down instead. Laziness! You really spend the time!

At first I thought these groomers put these videos up to help people to groom their dogs. But the more I watch, the more I realize, it is to discourage people from grooming their own dogs! This is a huge amount of work! Especially with these doodle dogs.
Anna...I'm not a groomer, but I own a dog who needs one. It's mesmerizing watching you work...you're incredibly skilled with your tools, but moreover I noticed your handling of the dog. Your touch is firm, has clear intent, and exudes confidence. This kind of communication with the animal is so important for the dog/groomer relationship...it seems intrinsic with you and is amazing to watch! You are such an amazing groomer. I have three Wheaten Terriers that get mistaken for Doodles all the time lol! I wish I could bring them to you but since our proximity makes that impossible, I hope you hold online classes at some point. I have been grooming them at home for a year and your videos have helped me tremendously.

You do an excellent groom. I especially like the way you handle the dog. He is obviously used to being groomed. He is so good and I attribute that to the groomer. The only thing I didn’t like was the music during filming (lol) but did enjoy the high speed. You are an awesome groomer. Thoroughly enjoyed watching you.
