Hopefully in his late 30's when he's had 10-15 world titles to his name we can see Marquez in other motorsport series aswell. I saw him ride the Civic Type R and a Honda Kei Car race at Honda Thanks day with F1 drivers like Alonso and Button and he was pretty damn fast beating them around the race track alongside Pedrosa. The dude can ride any vehicle, two wheels or four!

Potatolumoc they dont have a lot of braking to do and little grip, in this case rear brake is suficiant. And their tyres are not knobies, so they dont kick up a lot of dirt.

No, it's not because it saves weight, it's just the rules, makes things more challenging and difficult and also keeps the speeds a little lower. I guarantee if these bikes had front brakes on they'd be posting faster laps.

bullshit. This year he brought Santi Hernandez his GP crew chief to set his bike up. There was no different part than Baker's Honda. As Baker said, his disadvantage was down to him using a fresh tyre instead of used tyre like he did to win last year. This year Marquez went with used tyre and pulled away a good lead.
Toni Elias too was struggling all weekend in setting up the bike and he called half a dozen people around the world and finally found a right setup to be there right with Marquez in second. Watch the post race interview sometimes will you?

Announcers say a lot of stuff in any sport. Their sources are mere speculation unless and until you hear it from the official representative. All Honda CRFs there came with factory mapped ECU. But Marquez put a switch on his handlebar to test 2 engine map settings during the practice sessions to decide which one to use for the race. Baker didn't put up a fight because he went with a new tyre instead of using a slightly worn tyre like he did last year.
After the race, Baker was looking at Marquez's rear tyre and he said at the post race press conference that Marquez and others choosing the worn tyre gave them the added benefit.
That was the only reason why Toni Elias, who was nowhere listed to be competitive during his practice and qualifying sessions finished the race in second behind Marquez. Everything comes down to bike adjustments. You think Baker would go to an event with a stock Honda CRF? Baker has his team set the bike up and Marquez had his MotoGP team(Santi) set his bike up. Settings make or break races as you will also see at MotoGP.
