This is PEAK Cory right here! It is so great to see these kind of videos! Nerding out on the fish, making the voices, just a happy enjoyable video about the hobby we all love!
The way Corys humor comes out when he's doing store tours just cracks me up every single time! I love the way he talks about fish when he's just riffing
Just went to the store with my family this weekend. You guys are the only store I buy fish from that I trust not to quarantine. Love love love this store and unless it’s something I absolutely need, I will only shop here! Super friendly employees tolerated my 2yr old running through the store❤
Awesome video! Been watching for 6 years now and it’s awesome to see how much the store and the channel has grown. Worked at my local store for 2 years under poor management and always wanted something like this instead.
I had NO IDEA the scoops were 4-way!! Now I want a couple more for my kitchen. It's great to hear the enthusiasm and joy back in your voice. It sounds like you're actually having fun again!
Thanks for the fish tour, Cory! I love seeing the healthy variety and the smart way your store is set up. Also, thank you for the glimpses of price tags, too! It helps people on a fishroom budget plot and plan.
Cory, if you haven’t already, make sure you seal and coat that packing table of butcher block. I installed butcher block all through my kitchen and you can tell the spots that got wet after they were stained but before they were sealed. Those blocks can stain real easy. My recommendation is mineral oil or some sort of polyurethane coating (that’s what we have) so the water doesn’t soak in. It’s so easy to clean now
Last summer I was in Washington for work and it turns out that the store was only 30 minutes from where I was at, so I made the drive there. I was honestly underwhelmed about how small the store was, so I’m glad you guys are expanding. Any chance of franchising the store in the future? But anyway, I didn’t purchase any fish because I had to fly back across the country, but I got to see Murphy so it was well worth the trip. The staff was also very kind.
Even without proper lighting the new space looks incredible, Cory!! Can't wait to see it all once it's set up, even though I'm on the other side of the country. Just an idea: if you decide Murphy deserves a rest and needs to be retired, you should do a retirement party!! That would be fun and make a nice transition . Doing it with the new location would work nicely. good luck with the new space !!!
Great video, I was just at the store on Monday. Got some of the False Corydora Juliis and a Mayaca fluviatilis plant. All are doing well. Looking forward to seeing the expansion!
Finally visited your store New Year’s Day. Things I bought… 7 gallon rimless tank 6 orange shrimp 6 rili shrimp 2 dwarf lotus 5 endlers (2 male 3 female) just had baby’s by the way🥰 1 shrimp sticker 1 loach sticker 1 enjoy nature sticker 1 small crypt. My wife and daughter also grabbed some tacos across the way. Not gonna be my last time visiting. Had to ask Bentley if the store was even open on new years 🤣
I LOVE the process cards!!! How to make your employees feeling safe - there's always 'someone' to ask. You might be new, temp, extra help, not know of this part of tank maintenance, or haven't done it in a while. I always made my own in all parts of life. My jobs, kids schools bc of asthma, friends taking care of pets, my hobby projects, when hosting big patries, studying, everything. To have the processes dokumented and with pictures is gold at a workplace. For everybody to use the same processes and methods makes it easy to switch jobs/continue jobs. This is how it was done in my job as a nurse (in education, training and irl) the handbook was always the how-to go-to. Saves time and lowers frustration. Makes life easier.
Thank you Cory for the update. It really looks amazing and I can hear the passion in your voice when doing the tour. I can’t wait to come out and visit it one day!
Looking forward to seeing the remodeled Aquarium Co-op. Thanks for giving us a update on the remodel and a new tour. I might have to bit the bullet and get a pair of those Long Fin Red Loaches. I didn't see any in your tour, but hopefully you'll be getting more Long Fin Neons...those are so cool. I'm needing more color in my tank. Have a great day!
I want to visit the shop one day soooo bad! I live in New York, and something that caught my eye right away in the beginning of this video is how modestly priced your driftwood is! A piece of driftwood less than half the size of your extra large driftwood, which you're selling for 40$, would cost me upwards of 100$ at my LFS. So crazy. Hopefully see you in person someday!
Wow Cory your store is premium quality not a dead fish to be seen and some of the most amazing colours on them as well I wish I had a store close to my area like this I’ve never seen this in my life absolutely incredible I’d have to take a 2 hour drive to the city’s to see this …
@@AquariumCoop No! My little snails are going off to a beautiful lush tank with lots of overfeeding to live out their lives in peace! LOL Seriously, I'm glad they have a use and y'all take them off my hands. One day I will learn the balance of feeding so I don't end up with hundreds of them. I do actually like them, I just don't need so many. ;)
Love watching your videos and have done since I started in the hobby 5 years ago, I’ve started making my own content and hope to someday educate people like you do.
What I’d like to see… Pom pom crabs… larger fresh water neo’s (and also higher quality)… specialty guppies by breed. Very excited to see the expansion! Been in there every week recently. The tanks will need to cycle, but more selection to an already fun selection will be great. I didn’t know you were in Edmonds until recently.
So cool to see how far you’ve come Cory, I still cherish the memories of helping out in Conway, you and Jim are partially responsible for my addiction! If you had been this established before I changed career goals I would have loved to work with you. Keep up the good work, I’ll have to visit when you open everything up. -Tom
Gotten items through yall! Keep up the awesome work! Wish there was an East Coast location.. though I'd probably be broke then 😂 Edit: What's the aquarium brand at 37:02? Aluminum rim does sound more heavy-duty. Is it better than just silicone?
Got out of the fish hobby years ago but was just wondering "what's that cool fish guy doing nowadays?" And it's super cool to see this. Congrats on the 1M subs! That's huge. As a techie, can't help but be left wanting more after that very short tour of the networking closet lol. Makes sense to have backups like that nowadays. No one carries cash anymore and the rare long power outage could be a nightmare for fishkeepers. Having a UPS is one of my favorite things, as nerdy as it may sound.
❤love your new store, congratulations on your accomplishment and coming from a old fish keeper remember to remain humble and just be positive ❤❤love your heart ❤️
Great store operations. Wish you great success in the new year. Wish you had a store near me in Atlanta Northeast area. I understand about the Weekend business, as I use to work in a mom and pop Fish Store years ago, that was our busiest time. we were close on Mondays. Tuesday was all our fish deliveries. And we quarantined all our new fish at least two weeks to be sure the fish were healthy. But it is worth it in the long term. Hard to sell fish if they die after a customer gets the. Once that starts to happen it ruins a fish store reputation faster than anything else, it cost a many of fish store closing. Also a lot of dead fish in your sell tanks around your store. You got a great store and the people that come there are very lucky to have you there.
i know cory has been keeping fish for years and has so much more experience then i do but our approach and taste in fish keeping is so wildly different that sometimes when i watch his videos i go thats cool never thought about it like that other times i go what is this man even talking about he is crazy, this video made me say both
Always nice to see Cory back doing his thing in the shop and Fish room this is the reason most of us subscribe to this channel in the first place awesome work Cory nice to see you back with the fish on videos again and not products and staff videos good luck with the bigger store
How are fish priced? I am guessing that it is what it costs you, but also how quickly you can resell. Some goldfish feeder fish are 25 cents apiece. And salt water can be more than $100 apiece.
Pretty good at customer service? Sir, your customer service people at top teir. Every time I've had a problem, you guys responded so fast and always made it right. You guys know how to take care of your customers.
Have you ever thought about doing an Aquarium Co-op fish calendar? I gather my wife a wall calendar every year and can’t seem to find one that focuses on freshwater aquarium fish
Yes actually. Chris Lukhaup and I want to do one. I'm always so busy and don't start working on it early enough to launch it in like November/December the previous year. I think some day we will start selling them.
Such an amazing store with so much passion for the hobby behind it. Can't wait to check it out someday. I have been purchasing Aquarium Co-Op products online, but will you be shipping your new tanks and will you be doing a 3-5 gallon long? You had some 3 gallon longs in previous videos that were really cool. Keep up the great update videos and congratulations on the shop overhaul. Cheers
Cory looks like you grabbing it by the horns again always been interested in the videos in the knowledge I can get from you thank you for the videos and good luck with all the new store. What a fantastic place stay well my friend.
Hello Cory I have a really important question. Is IR light from my webcam safe for my tank and inhabitants mostly guppies? I want to monitor and watch them even especially when Im away or at bed. Thank you.
Now that is almost done... have ya thought about moving to Sarasota Florida...? That would benefit me a lot...!!! Hahaha, thanks for sharing...! Keep up your awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today...! Also, don't forget to compliment someone today... Take care...

1 shrimp sticker

Loved your video in the Germany fish store…… so inspirational. I wish we had stores like that here.
Really appreciate your concern with sustainability!
Lol no one can do a fish tour like Cory who brings out the best personality in each species!
CP Danios are super easy to breed and keep alive. Really shy in a species only but out and about in mixed species tanks. (At least for me.)
The quickest click ever hehe my night is made🙌 Keep on keeping on 💃🐡
Feeling like driving up from Vancouver, WA to your store just to buy one of those "pre-set up aquarium tanks." 👍❤️
Those process documents could totally be made into how to books made by aquarium co op. Id buy all of em.
“big or small we’ll take em all”. -Cory

I’m not sure, I don’t think it’s a problem but I’m not certain.
I remember when you were just playing with the idea of putting plants in with the bettas. It's great that you put that into practice.
Hope to visit the new store later this year when we visit Vancouver. A little drive, but I'm sure it will be worth it.
Seems like your having fun Cory. Love it. Also the trailer park boys reference was gold!
I’d spend hours and hours in that store! Awesome!😊
loving the channel lately! keep up the gr8 work Cory!

So I'm in Washington visiting and was planning to stop by the retail store. Is the expansion done now?
Love your store. Worth the drive.
Thank you .
i see like most stores you do slight discount for multiples of a species which is good to encourage small schools of fish ,but many people seem to advise slow stocking of tanks to allow bacteria to catch up.With small species like Tetras does this matter or am i ok putting in six or so at a time.
I love those set ups that you’re selling you need to sell those online. You would make great money off of those. I personally would love to buy one. Specially, with that Siri stone.

Love hearing Cory talk about fish. And I giggle every time he calls out "enhance" when he just moves the camera closer
That's his fancy voice activated camera enhancing mode😊
Beautiful store.
