Love this podcast! It's refreshing, positive and REAL! I will say that the topic feminine vs. masculine has room for a deeper conversation that I don't think is being had. What does feminine and masculine mean to each gender, how does it show up in relationship, etc? Because I think the real intent behind these words are being lost. When a woman says feminine are we really saying we want to feel safe that you can lead, provide and protect? And then when a man says he wants a feminine woman, what does that mean exactly, submissive, nurture, etc? We'll be waiting for this episode 😆 God bless!
I really love Egypt and Mike's conversations, how they exchange with each other and their honesty. I really enjoy their podcast. OAN, am I the only person slightly taken aback by the Pastor saying that for 1yr he/they "hid/withheld" the fact that he got remarried? Did I misunderstand what he/they said? At one point it seemed to me that he was justifying why he withheld the information (i.e., shared too much of my personal life before, the church isn't equipped to take care of the pastor?). I clearly don't have room to judge anyone but I was wholly uncomfortable with that "message" coming from a leader.
Make sure you are available and not just single. Make sure that when you are truly ready to be in a relationship you are coming with the full you. Thank you for giving Dr. Hart Ramsey and his wife the platform to tell how they met, and how they are working in the ministry together. Dr. Ramsey is definitely a good teacher, but he is not a good pastor. This is my opinion, and I know many do not agree with me. I am praying for him and his third marriage. I cannot wait for Part 2.
