Mike & Egypt you not only Rocked the Block but you are Rocking the Podcast 🌎 with Marriage & Money. The only thing I wish is that it was longer. Congratulations and definitely keep the episodes coming. My husband and I have been together 27 years and 19 of them married. You're right in marriage there are no rules or a magic combination to success except doing what's best for you in your own marriage.

No 🧢 Mendeeees an Yandy are one of my favorite Black couple an couple period . I remember praying 🙏🏽 so hard an being so emotional around the wedding episode. She had said ,” until my family is one day together again .” I almost cried like a baby . I’m sooo glad they made it even tho there’s still battles like any couple , ima keep them in my prayers so they can really really make it ❤❤❤
Mandeecees and Yandy pulled up to my job about two months ago. They were lost, looking for a particular location. I gave them directions. I knew who they were, but I acted as if I didn't. Just treated them like regular folk.
This is a real thing. Husband and I have been together since college. 30 years. No kids at home for some time but this happened to us. It started with my spouse not being able to get sleep without the Tv. I need complete quiet when I sleep. Before I
Knew it we were sleeping in separate spaces for about 3 years. Then it changed when my spouse got sick and we are now in the same space when we sleep give or take. It was weird at first for me but we did some checking in with one another and we were fine. The circumstances dictated the situation at the time. To be clear, our marriage is stronger than Ever!

Happily married… Actually I interviewed one of the first anthropologist of South Korea years ago and that is actually their tradition as they grow older in they’re in their marriages, they sleep in separate quarters❤❤
This is a very real discussion. 😬A LOT of women are in Yandy's shoes as far as being expected to work full-time AND solely maintain the household. I hope he loosens up his expectations of her. Best wishes.

My man does the same thing. Unpacking on vacation right away. So i have gotten into the habit to living his way very discipline on being very neat and clean everything put away right away. I love it. It keeps our place and things in order.

My Husband and I love our "Lounges"!! For 6 years now! He has a few issues in his sleeping pattern. I have been afraid for my life a few times. He doesn't even have a clue what he doing. He was robbed and shot a while ago and the trauma affected him to the point it disrupts his sleep. We have been together since we were 9yrs old. Now going on 61yrs old. It works. Plus I can't stand the television on at night! He needs it to go to sleep. We meet in the middle on any given night! Great segment! Love you All!

Thank you for being real and transparent about marriage. I can relate to the sleeping situation 😊.
To keep each other safe during the height of COVID my spouse and I slept in separate bedrooms for the first time in our 40 year marriage. I am convinced that it helped to save our lives. We are back sleeping together most nights. But, when one of us works a longer or different shift out of respect to the other we might sleep separately. We realize now how extremely important it is to get our health promoting 8 hours of sleep every night. We both feel so much better now, which makes it more enjoyable to interact with each other. I really LOVE my good night of sleep!
I love the podcast and the couple that it shows, this by far was one of my favorites it's really nice to see both of they're growth praying a blessing over their marriage and yours.

I have a 3 year old with my husband. I'm at stay at home mom. He snore, covet the covers, like to cover with a blanket in all seasons, and he wakes up really early and makes a punch of noise. So, separate rooms became the thing. I actually like it because we don't have to wake each other up, and everyone with young babies and toddlers knows they get up in the middle of the night. It was refreshing to know that parents and married couples are doing what makes sense and not just moving forward with outdated practices. My mom and step- dad been in separate rooms and other married couples I know as well, nothing wrong with the relationship because my mom has been with my step-dad for over 30 years; he snore and likes to sleep with the TV on. My husband's parents as well. His mom likes the fan on and his dad does not. I am happy you both shared your experience with us. Love you both and love your shows. Learned about this podcast from "Married to Real Estate." I missed the other show,"Flipping Virgins. "

Tht flexibility in Yandy’s approach is why she’s good in her hustle. U can’t be good at wat u do being rigid. Structure is good but not always necessary. Mendeecees is water sign. Fire sign can be all over the place so I get it. He’s more emotionally invested in everythin he does. And as a fellow fire sign woman, I totally get both sides but I ain’t naturally domesticated and this is primarily reason commitment is hard for me. I can’t wrap my head around it bc my energy is definitely scattered at times and success, abundance is more important to me. I totally get mendeecees bc it sounds like he operates well in a balance, grounded, slow pace energy but tht ain’t Yandy. And Yandy may think she’s giving her best but he doesn’t get it bc their energy is off. There has to be a balance. Let go and accept the good in either side
