My family has owned property in the vineyard for over 30 years. I love visiting Aquinnah and Plymouth. I was surprised to see the melanin of the Wampanoag Tribe. I do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but I give thanks to our ancestors and to you. Stay steadfast and never leave your homeland unattended. My last visit resulted in hearing that the youth leave and do not return so the land is being gentrified. Never forget youth, return to your native land.
@@beewiseagency9796 you were surprised at the tribes melanin levels? You do realize that is not what the original tribe looked like. Right? There has been heavy interracial mixing between the tribes, hispanics, and blacks in the past several generations.
Thank you for sharing all of this. My children and I chose not to celebrate Thanksgiving and to fast and to remember and honor the First Nations. I would love to visit your tribe and Plymouth Rock. I am so sickened and grieved for the atrocities committed against your precious people. You are so resilient and amazing. You all so much to teach us. I honor and respect you all so much. Much love 💕 to all of you.
It is really hard to grow up, thinking that the days we celebrate were all happy and have this great love and family, and then we find out that it's not really the truth... For my personal life, I had a lot of hidden facts that needed to be healed and that was done through my relationship with Jesus Christ
I am searching. I have researched my DNA and found that I am middle eastern, Nigerian, and European. Knowing that I'm majority European, I'm looking at the real history of what has happened and how we got to where we are. I've been listening and reading a lot about native Americans and also African history... And I can't describe the emotions I feel when I hear your thoughts and feelings, but what can I do? How can I support the voices of truth?
Amber, the fact that you view this most enlightening piece of education, the fact that you inquired as to how you can help, you have begun your support. Continue in your search for truth!
The so called Middle East is nothing but North Africa and Southwest Asia. The Europagens coined that term trying to somehow separate the North Africa from the rest of the continent.
Native Americans are an integral part of our present and future also. We should learn from them about how we can live in agreement with nature and how to stop destroying the planet.
You are all amazing young people... I honor everything you had stated... I totally agree and understand the anguish. I feel you deeply. I have just found out at 73 yrs. young that I am part Wampanoag... and so honored to hear this. In my world you have always existed... Native Americans are such truly beautiful people, well to me all people of color are very special to me. Personally I have always had a problem with the white man who caused so many problems and difficulties for all who were not white. There were times I was quite sad to be white... then when I found out I had Wampanoag blood in me, I felt rich. ... I for one would like the truth to be known... Thanksgiving has always to me felt like something was missing. My partner was half Native American... I was proud to be with him, he passed, I miss him every day of my life.... Please know I do feel your trauma... I am not a rich person, I love the indigenous people and would love from my heart to know more and honor you all in my heart...Please, since I can remember I have love all people...and love learning about every ones culture... Well I could go on for ever... I do not want to come across like a nut bag... for I am not... just so proud to hear my news... even though it was late in my life... it has answer a lot of my questions about myself...and the way I have lived my life. Would so love to hear back for someone. I have a book that I read. The Indian Way, it tells full moon stories for each month and other stories in the back... although what I love not only the stories, also the end of each story it says...And the Earth stayed young... peace...
History needs to be rewritten to tell the real true storys of the indigenous people and all Americans ... It is only right for us to teach our children a different way.
If we continue to search for truth, we will find that history has been corrected. As is true of most positive things in the world, it is not widely encouraged.
Yea, I've heard about this not too long ago and thought that it may or may not have been true... Given the ignorance of those that enslaved & oppressed... it doesn't surprise me of the onslaught of those that were victims...and when we speak of the VICTUMS of the sad😢 things that took place - a healing, information, & teaching of true things, beings and events are MOST IMPORTANT, Just because it wasn't all or always those of darker complected skin that suffered or endured But All involved. Sad as it was, THANK GOD that people heal, forgive and as you stated Learn the better way of Life & Living!
@@magruderk915 cool. Make sure to write it so that it tells how this Indian tribe use the pilgrims and their technology for protection from other Indian tribes. Then lied to the pilgrims about the land they were being supposedly given, instead being indian givers and telling the pilgrims that they couldn't live on the land does the Indians have given them in exchange for protection from the other tribes
I am participating in a program "Sacred Ground" that speaks of This land from the time of the arrival of the first colonizers, and also the ships carrying enslaved people from Africa. I will never again celebrate "Thanksgiving" as I have all my life. A day of gratitude ... but never again the "Thanksgiving" that we were taught about in school. My heart mourns with you as I write this, and I am commited on this day; Thanksgiving 2021, to learning all I can about the true history.
I'm surprised how the US has never had a native American president. Also as a non US person, I don't understand how the country celebrates a Holiday based on when they were colonized or taken over by foreigners. In my country we only ever celebrate Independence from colonizers not the day they arrived and got killed by our Datu. It's a weird concept to me.
Some people believe Abraham Lincoln was a copper colored native since he is depicted on a copper colored coin. As well as Alexander Hamilton his mother was west Indian from Nevis island in the Caribbean's before meeting his Scottish duke father. He was then outcasted when he came to the Americas and denied emissions from schools by the Anglican Church for his parents never married. Then, Alexander's mother left her two son Alexander's older brother James Jr. It's said James was dark skinned and was treated as a black man in the colonies. Also, Ben Franklin wasn't Native American but he was an runaway indentured servant.
We did. Back during the installation of the *first* CONstitution. It was based upon the 6 Iroquois Nations Confederacy 'Great Treaty of Peace'. They were betrayed by the 'fumbling fathers'. ------------
I appreciate your perspective greatly. I can see how that would feel confusing. The reason it's celebrated is because it's the colonizers themselves who are celebrating while continuing to disregard native peoples. It's like a continued slap in the face every year. As a white US person, it took me 40 years of growing up here before all the false propaganda put out in elementary middle and high schools, and the constant suppression of the truth of current genocide and abuse going on to native peoples , fell away from my mind and became apparant for what they are: blatant ugly cowardly lies . Twisted history made up by the cowardly colonizing psychopathic people, so they don't have to face themselves and begin to give appropriate reparations . It's a theme that , like a virus, is throughout all of the US cult-ure here. If you state the truth, there's an established stigma where you'll be looked at and called a "conspiracy theorist".
It is written that the nit wit they called Washington from england got lost/couldn't read his own map. Also an escaped/runaway...was given a deal to conquer new land and set up the british/englands greedy mindset. They are still doing it today, bullying/colonizing other lands. I see that it is ending world wide. DON'T FALL BACK INTO THE LOOP, STAY WOKE ❤
This video was a great reminder of what happened at this time in history. I remember first learning about Native Americans in Junior College and being sad for the natives and being robbed of their land. I know that this is more of an American holiday but I have much respect for the natives across America.
Thank you everyone who shared. Touched my heart. There is so much work to be done with everyone and educating ourselves and having care and compassion for everyone. I recently learned the colonists exploited the conflicts of Northeast tribes to get them to wipe each other out. The Pequot and Wampanoag were among the first.
They ran that game for last 6 centuries. Divide and Conquer that game is still working today. Look at Libra, Iraq, north and south korea, north and south Vietnam all over Africa Divided and Conquer
Indians had rivalries, genocide, Wars and colonization of territories long before the Pilgrims showed up. The wampanoags military alliance with the pilgrims because they themselves were weakened by a recent disease that had wiped out their tribe before the Pilgrims showed up, and a rival Indian tribe was squeezing them out of the territory. But here you are pretending and lying that the pilgrims started the Rivalry, as if Indians didn't have issues with each other😅
They weren’t pilgrims. That name was given them a century later. The religious people on the Mayflower were Separatists, having left the Church of England to run church as they saw it. They called themselves Saints. Their Thanksgiving at Plymouth colony was for surviving. The puritans came later to start the Massachusetts Colony. They were trying to reform the Church of England from within. They had a harsher view of life as being filled with sin. Their Thanksgiving was about purging.
This is my last post I feel that when African-American started protesting in 2020 I felt as though all the Native Indians should have been right out there and got their land back!!!
I understand how you feel but you realize the Indigenous People been through a lot of Atrocious in their lifetime. No Nationality in this country have Endure so much pains, hurts as Native Americans and Africa Americans. We need to learn to come together and this Problem Together ❤
Why? BLM made it clear that they didn't care about any other race but black people. They would casually extend a mention to the lgbtq, hispanic, an Indian communities just to get them to join, but not to put any focus on them. Ask BLM leaders reportedly stated,.... "no lives matter until black lives matter." And that was always going to be the power Dynamic and agenda for the BLM black supremacist group. Why the hell would anyone want to join in a demented Marxist anti-American racist like BLM that only cares about itself?

@@cherokeerose5258 You can quit calling yourself and Indians native slash indigenous. You're not native to this land, none of us are. You are native to Asia. Your land wasn't your land. Over 90% of the current landmass that makes up America was legally purchased by the American government. The rest you got your ass kicked in a war, you're lucky that you weren't exterminated. Most other Turf Wars the losing side is exterminated or driven completely off the land. At this point America's biggest mistake was leaving you alive. Since then all you can push is the native fraudulent claim and the lame stolen land claim. Knowing damn well that one tribe stole it from another tribe stole from another tribe. And the Indians thought from the people who were here before them. Yes there were people before the current Indians came over.
If only the colonists had adopted Native American ways instead of forcing their ways upon them. Then we wouldn't be talking about sustainable living like it's a brand new idea, we'd have been doing it all along. Only honoring the masculine sky spirit and abusing the feminine earth spirit hasn't worked out very well. It's a shame that you're African aNcEsToRs judge your family as being inferior, weak, criminal, deviant, and a burden on African society. It sucks that Africans have been slaving themselves, as Africans have also enslaved other races, since the beginning of African history. Nobody has benefited more for the transatlantic slave trade in the modern black American. I'm sure you're glad that you weren't born in Africa, the place where the descendant of the African people who enslaved your family still live.
I am a black man who knows some of those people are black and should be proud of that fact. If I have a little anything else in me so be it, but I am proud to be black.
@@broski84 Oh, ok. That’s the cool thing about being multi-ethnic. You can represent more than one culture. There are ethnicities that look African but are genetically different. An example are people of the senelese islands near India. They have dark skin like us and even darker. The genetics state they have more common ancestry with the Australian Aborigines than Sub-Saharan Africans.
Topg, view the numerous shows that trace ancestry. Multiracial people have existed since the beginning of time. If you study the bible closely, this has Always been made evident.

I read on a genealogy program that I’m 13 generations away from being a 1st cousin to Massisoit. I would never have guessed this. I watched many videos about the Wampanoag tribe. I just cried when I figured out that it was my own ancestors that were the people who taught and gave so much to the white people, and yet even now they have not been respected or properly thanked nor credited for how important they have been. It a very different feeling when you know it’s been your own ancestors, family, and friends that have been so trodden down by the US government. I’m so sorry for how long the USA has treated the indigenous peoples of this country so poorly. At the same time I send respect, love, and support to you. I wish I could’ve changed history. 😢 peace and prosperity to all of you.
The story I heard was the first one happened after the pilgrims helped vanquish a neighboring enemy tribe of the Wampanoag, who had enslaved them in the past. It was bloody. It was in celebration of a massacre. But that was not when the treaty was broken between the Wampanoag and the settlers, they stood in battle together. This is mostly based on journals and other historical documents piecing this story together, along with a few scraps of information from the Wampanoag of the day. Anyone that can verify or correct is incredibly welcome
True native blood they have is Wampanoag & they had nothing at all to do with $5 Indian so UR statement that they mixed with $5 Indian is bullcrap. U don't know what a $5 Indian is. Its actually black ppl that are 'wannabe Indian' who accuse Indians like Wampanoag of being $5 Indians.
Our People Black People don't really Research these holidays to see the Evil in them. I stop celebrating these holidays once I Research it. Thanks for Sharing this great information 👍
I watched Addams Family Values and there was a scene in the movie that opened my eyes. It was the Thanksgiving play performed at a summer camp. Wednesday was playing Pocahontas and she was telling the truth about Thanksgiving, then sets the camp on fire.
People are aware of the truth!! The fact is many were running and leaving the happenings on other lands, surviving just the same as the Indians, following their leaders as everyone still does, I also think diseases from surviving people were unintentionally passed considering the different environments and ways of life! People on the other lands were surviving and fighting over resources, lands, leadership and ways of life, from the top of Europe to the bottom of Africa! If people didn't have remorse for wrong doings in a place of misled understanding, helping people live again wouldn't have happened! True Evil doesn't allow people to get back up at all!
What I'm hearing from this is, they should have gotten along together, and respected one another. How about all of us take the responsibility to do that together now, better than they did? Its not someone else's problem. Its your responsibility. Yes, you. And me.
I like the way the young lady said that Americans are sitting on land that was being cared for by others. That is the definition of the entire earth. We, as humans, are taking care of land that was created by an other, Jehovah God. We were instructed to take care of it (Gen. 2: 15).
When I still lived among my First Nations Two-Spirit people, we always attended Th Native American Sunrise Ceremony. There are speeches and prayers and we honor our ancestors. It is a day of mourning for many if not most Natives. That doesn’t mean we aren’t going to gather, enjoy one another and eat good food. If schools aren’t going to teach critical race history, then it’s YOUR JOB to teach the truth to all non-native children and Individuals. It’s the very least you can do. How can one celebrate a massacre? How can one celebrate a national holiday and not know it’s true history? If colonizer are going to gather and celebrate a thanks-giving, at least invite a low-income family or individual to join you around your table and break bread with them. Mitakuye Oyasin! We are all interconnected.
Bcuz whites almost annihilated the whole tribe but left the women alive & they were sold into slavery & with no Wampanoag men 2 have children with, they had children with black men & they told their children they descended from wampanoag Indians & now they R mixed with African & European. They are tri-racial Indians.
Next year I am going to add something to "Thanksgiving" which will be to honor the Native Americans and ask forgiveness for the things my ancestors did to this country and the rightful owners. European's taking over this country has never sat right with me even as a child. I'm even more disgusted I'm a Mayflower descendant. For everything that has happened I am truly sorry.
It’s interesting that I grew up in a particular town in New York where many of my neighbors where the people of the land. ( I don’t like to refer to the name Native Americans which was given to them in the 1960s changed from American Indian) I prefer to say The original people of the Land. Even though I was very young at the time. I wish someone had told me the real historical truth about Thanksgiving. Everyday I’m learning the real truth about our history.
We need to change the meaning of Thanksgiving we have been taught that we all got together with the indigenous people and it was great so it never meant to be hurtful 😢 Make our own time to be with family and prayers to the Indigenous people. I will not celebrate the lies I will celebrate my family coming together ❤

When I think of the phrase ( a village raise a child ) that is what we did , Indians and Africans, but the white people brought the guns to separate Us !!! 😣😣😣
I pulled this video to show my sister the people who greeted the pilgrims and who died shortly after! to explain to her why we should not participate in the rituals of thanksgiving! We can commune with family without the rituals of the Americanized version! We don’t have to eat Turkey, cranberries, and pumpkin pie to enjoy our family! These things are all apart of the ritual! by participating in these rituals you are celebrating the murder of your own people! Energizing the spirit of your own demise!

My history museum has an event when all the NC Indian tribes come and sell things. I always enjoy that event. I always liked the American native Americans since I was little. I like the way you made things out of nature like flint arrows, spears, etc. I went to the Grand Canyon in 2015. I got a CD with your flute music a book about Native Americans, a book of old fairytales. My mom told me she never had the feast when she was a little girl. Her parents would just sweep the front porch. They did not like Lincoln and he established the holiday. I hope you and the native Indians thrive for thousands of years. ❤

Great to know the truth about Thanksgiving!! Too many people feel African American Slaves were the only ones to suffer!! The native Americans suffered more than any others. Their land was taken away from them, women raped, children slaughtered men made slaves so African Americans weren't the only ones that were slaves. North America Central America + South America were all Indians. Christopher Columbus + his men came here + slaughtered the Indians + took their land!! Central Park in NYC was an Indian Reservation. But this isn't taught in school. It is taught that blacks were slaves but nothing taught re Native Americans which is wrong. In NYC, black Americans think they were only ones who were slaves. This needs to be corrected + proper history should be taught. Why do people in certain parts of the world speak a certain language. It is because they were conquered + made to speak the language of the conqueries! In Jamaica, they speak English + their language. Why do they speak English because conquered by England. India was also conquered by England. They speak English + other languages but English is their main language!! I wish children were taught proper history so no one would treat others like they're not good enough!! We're all God's children + should be treated as such but many people are bad + cause wars because want to take over other lands + kill × have slaves!!! No one should be a slave!! We're all equal in the eyes of God!! No one is perfect but we can strive to be better + help each other to be healthy + happy in this world. This is how I feel. More persons should have more respect for others so this world can live in Harmony!!
True. And native Americans had Black slaves. It is also said that Blacks had Black slaves and some native slaves. The story isn’t as simple as we’ve been told. When the truth is finally revealed we can put all of this to rest.
One very important fact it's overlooked in this discourse about the history of Thanksgiving. It's a lie that the people that came from Europe were pilgrims. Pilgrims are people that are on a religious exploration. These people that came to America were not on a religious expiration. They were Mercenaries higher and sent out by the king of England to find new land that they could occupy and colonialize. As a result, of disease and famine in Europe. So let's stop pretending that mercenaries and pilgrims are synonymous.
Growing up in New England my entire life I should tell you that is completely false. Some were what you would consider mercenaries. But families and women and children were not brought here to explore. They were brought to settle
Agreed. They weren’t pilgrims. And they had separated from England to live in religiously tolerant Holland. They left as they didn’t want their kids becoming Dutchified. They were illegals in Plymouth. King James gave them permission to go to Hudson River and send back fish. They were supposed to be within the Virginia territory- not 250 miles north in Wampanoag country. They got so lucky being saved from starvation by a man who had been captured by English fishermen, sold into Spanish slavery, then miraculously escaped. He makes it back home to the Cape Cod region after an apocalyptic plague killed his entire tribe. He encounters the English again, but now squatting in his homeland who weren’t farmers. He saved them. Thanksgiving was For surviving and establishing a trade alliance. The Saints had to send raw goods to England as part of the deal to get financed to come in the first place.
PREACHING IN NYC... Dear Friend, JESUS Loves you. The 1st Thanksgiving was about How the Indians Help the CHRISTIAN PILGRIM White people so that they would SURVIVE as a people. GODS WORD says that we must Forgive our enemies and Pray for them in the BIBLE. So that we may Be Blessed and see the KINGDOM. THE BOTTOM LINE is that GOD wants us to also be a BLESSING by being HELPFUL & THANKFUL regardless of the past, & Have Hope for a better future. We must PRAY for the Healing of our NATION in every bad situation so we can make it positive. Thank God for what is now and Stop dwelling on the past. The fact is that GOD has richly blessed America above and beyond all Nations. Thats why people from everywhere want to come here to have the Benefits of this Great thing that GOD has done for all people. So much that we are the (#1)choice around the world. That is a GREAT THING. We must all UNITE AS ONE NATION to continue to BE BLESSED. THANK GOD FOR HIS BLESSING UPON SO GREAT A NATION. AMERICA! AMEN!
DID you even watch this video? DId you notice that Thanksgiving was declared for colonizers celebrating murder of 700? Listen more than you speak and you might evolve.
No one here wants to listen to your preaching, your use of Indian shoes you know nothing, the only reason you use that word is because a man who never once touched America's content thought he landed in India. America isn't better then all other nations, the past is something we clearly need to dwell on because you clearly know nothing about the colonization America has participated in. The atrocities, nightmares and numerous war crimes, learn the real history and maybe you can have a discussion.
No we are not! That book has nothing to do with us! It was used to eradicate our people so take that nonsense elsewhere! We don’t practice the religion of our oppressors. Sorry if you do
My brother's and sisters me too.have native ancestors every thing abouth native people I love 💘but I no the truth abouth the white man genocide I say no to thanks giving I say thank God for native tribe's who survived
10:10 yes I totally agree, that we should be thankful everyday and not just one day of the year! 😊
I like that the channel took the time to get viewpoints, from all different views and see different perspectives of what happened
Heck yea. Is amazing how much they look like us south Americans we been through the same I'm with you brothers and sisters God bless you xoxo.
We are the same. Once all the records are uncovered, the full history will be more widely known.
Thanks for this! I feel very enlightened. Sending love and healing.
What a wonderful way to commemorate this atrocious day in history.
What a tribute to our people and so thankful for our youths for bringing about awareness and making us proud
Keep educating yourself and refrain from being biased during your learning journey ✨
Beautiful watch! We must never forget native people all over the world and what integral part of history they are!
Yea,
I've heard about this not too long ago and thought that it may or may not have been true...
Very well done. Thank you
I am participating in a program "Sacred Ground" that speaks of This land from the time of the arrival of the first colonizers, and also the ships carrying enslaved people from Africa.
Ok. You're ignorant.
Thank You for this beautiful education.

And let's not forget how this behavior continues to exist in America.

Why? BLM made it clear that they didn't care about any other race but black people. They would casually extend a mention to the lgbtq, hispanic, an Indian communities just to get them to join, but not to put any focus on them.
Ask BLM leaders reportedly stated,.... "no lives matter until black lives matter."

You can quit calling yourself and Indians native slash indigenous.
If each person would give back equal to what they take and then give a little more, we could turn things around and restore balance. Thank you to the young people who spoke on this video.
The true native blood mixed with $5 Indian blood is evidently seen.
Stfu we don’t do that up here..that’s a yall problem…
We didn’t participate in slavery, segregation, or Dawes rolls!!!! Carry on
True native blood they have is Wampanoag & they had nothing at all to do with $5 Indian so UR statement that they mixed with $5 Indian is bullcrap. U don't know what a $5 Indian is. Its actually black ppl that are 'wannabe Indian' who accuse Indians like Wampanoag of being $5 Indians.
Thank you
I am part Hawaiian and i was dressed as a hula girl for Halloween. what u talkin bout bruh?
Facts
Yes

Bitterness and unforgiveness leads to an ungrateful spirit and destruction.
I will NEVER CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING MYSELF
⭐
bless
Native Americans helped Africans when they were brought over in slavery because they knew they knew what was going on. ❤
Thanksgiving today is more a day of gluttony rather than being thankful.
Copper colored not Asian not white
!!!
Not black either. These members are obviously heavily mixed . In the picture they look like Apache .
@@MariaGasca-Reyes You havent seen the original natives then. They were originally VERY dark. I have pictures.
What I'm hearing from this is, they should have gotten along together, and respected one another. How about all of us take the responsibility to do that together now, better than they did?
Its not someone else's problem. Its your responsibility. Yes, you. And me.
Thanks for the awareness I my self are and Afroamerican I do not celebrate AMERICAN Holidays because they are all untruths .
Right!
no matter the good stuff that a thanksgiving celebration could be, i can’t just ignore the 50 million dead natives... because i’m not a psychopath.
❤😮😢😂😅😊🎉❤.
I like the way the young lady said that Americans are sitting on land that was being cared for by others. That is the definition of the entire earth. We, as humans, are taking care of land that was created by an other, Jehovah God. We were instructed to take care of it (Gen. 2: 15).
I stopped celebrating thanksgiving over a decade ago.
We are all interconnected.
why is this tribe just black and white ppl had not seen a native in sight
You obviously don’t know anything
You also must not know native men 😂
Bcuz whites almost annihilated the whole tribe but left the women alive & they were sold into slavery & with no Wampanoag men 2 have children with, they had children with black men & they told their children they descended from wampanoag Indians & now they R mixed with African & European.
Go to communities and help people
Thank you for this...I'm using it as an "un-teaching" tool for my school-age children.
Everyday I’m learning the real truth about our history.
most of you are not native american, you look mix.
Obviously they are mixed Forced intermixing force ethnic cleansing
Mass genocides .
You’re only referring to the people who are deeply melanated.
We need to change the meaning of Thanksgiving we have been taught that we all got together with the indigenous people and it was great so it never meant to be hurtful 😢
Make our own time to be with family and prayers to the Indigenous people. I will not celebrate the lies I will celebrate my family coming together ❤
Ungrateful Wampanoag twits.
You're not victims, you were being eradicated by a rival tribe. Your tribe was decimated by disease.
They pilgram-indian alliance was mutually beneficial. You got allies armed with guns that helped defend your tribe in exchange for land.
You taught them how to gather/grow food.
It worked for over 50 years. But some of your tribe decided to get shady and started making agreements to give land away that never belonged to you because it belonged to a different tribe. This set up all kinds of future issues, but here you are pretending that you were innocent 😇😇 angels.
Hearing the most ignorant negative twit thugs whine and spew modern Woke rhetoric is laughable.
Okay. Your cultural clothing are not our's to wear.
... then why the fuck are you wearing blue jeans, plaid shirts, ball caps and watches?? OUR cultural clothing isn't your Halloween costume either.
This is the kind of one-sided whiny ass shit where you are oblivious to the hypocrisy of your statements and lack self-awareness.
Also the very cleverly worded part where you claimed that you were taking care of this land before the pilgrims came was quite slick. Only problem is you didn't buy this land, you didn't own this land.
And you sure as hell were never native/ indigenous to this land because you are not native to the American continents, your homeless ancestors staggered across the Frozen Bering Strait, and killed whatever previous wave of people that lived here before you.
Apparently Indians don't want to learn their own history. So until you can be honest about not being native, your narrative comes off as nothing more than a greasy fraudulent agenda to deceive and portray yourself as the victim.
As far as the land is concerned, over 90% of the land was legally purchased by the American government.
The rest was taken by force that's what happens when you're Conquered.
What doesn't normally happen to the conquered side is that The Winning Side didn't exterminate you completely. The reason why the losing side is not normally around to whine for hundreds of years it's because they are normally exterminated.
Eradicating your Rivals via genocide is what Indians have been doing to each other for thousands of years. Be glad that the European migrants didn't treat you by Indian rules.
When I think of the phrase ( a village raise a child ) that is what we did , Indians and Africans, but the white people brought the guns to separate Us !!! 😣😣😣
Buh?! 😂😂😂
It's okay to lie as long as you be thankful🎉🎉🎉😢
I pulled this video to show my sister the people who greeted the pilgrims and who died shortly after! to explain to her why we should not participate in the rituals of thanksgiving!
We can commune with family without the rituals of the Americanized version! We don’t have to eat Turkey, cranberries, and pumpkin pie to enjoy our family! These things are all apart of the ritual! by participating in these rituals you are celebrating the murder of your own people! Energizing the spirit of your own demise!

I think Thanksgiving should be a day of fasting not feasting.
You should celebrate it by fasting then. We would suggest that you fast for at least 3 months
Native Americans were all dark skined people too teach real history
Not all….depends on location and tribe
N.A. are Proto-Mongoloid, not Negroid. N.A. have skin shades of light, medium, dark brown shades, never black shade.
My Sufi name is Shakurallah, meaning "Grateful for the many blessings of Allah" -- Who is Mercy and Compassion, and I live on Carquín, Suisún, Patwin and Muwekma occupied ancestral land.
I remember my ancestors, in particular, my parents Jean and Dr. Abe (Chiropractic) who devoted their lives to working for peace and racial, social, economic and environmental justice. A-ho!
And I remember Kandii Webb, a beautiful transgender woman, beloved of her community, killed out of hatred for being who she was

Yes, they bought black slaves and practice slavery
I don’t celebrate the “ Americanized thanksgiving “
I always liked holiday. When I was in school I was told the lie. I just found out the truth recently. I hate the truth. The way your ancestors where killed. I like family food.
Of course it's unsettling. Your history was erased. This is heartbreaking. 😢
America wise up
You are who your forefathers are.If you have a whiteman as a great grandpa or father you not native .
That’s a fuckin lie
Wrong!
Good. But the point should not be hating all white people.
How are they hating all white people ?😒you just want to say something 😒
tell white people that
Dress like Native American for Halloween is BEYOND DISRESPECTFUL

I think her daughter is beautiful but this is a serious matter not to be laughing about it
One very important fact it's overlooked in this discourse about the history of Thanksgiving.
There weren’t pilgrims. They were Separatists defying King James who was the head of the Church of England.
The Heavenly FATHER has the final Word! These people belong to the Tribe of Gad from the House of Israel! They are called Gadites!
No we are not! That book has nothing to do with us! It was used to eradicate our people so take that nonsense elsewhere! We don’t practice the religion of our oppressors. Sorry if you do
Wamapanoag aborigine
Thank god for Christopher Columbus he conquered!!
