  • Okay stage 5 time.
The gimmick of this stage seems to be to annoy the player as much as possible, as it throws a lot of unconventional patterns and gimmicks at you that can really throw you for a loop as you are usually not that familiar with dealing with them.
Lots and lots of back attacks, usually with horrible bullet types, forced no vertical and messing with your controls. But of course, overcoming these things is what makes it fun.
ReimuA is extremely useful for the stage as she can hit everything on the screen with her homing boomerang mop. You can use the focus button to launch your mop at the closest enemies and it's awesome. Additionally, keeping the mop inside bosses does a huge amount of damage, pretty much SakuyaA levels. However, the mop quickly goes out of the bosses over time so you have to renew it by going up close and throwing it inside again.
You want to speedkill the orb enemies as fast as possible as they can make your life quite miserable if you let them live too long.
It took me an embarrassing amount of time to "get" the midboss card. After the criss-cross below the boss you pretty much want to dive to the bottom and move up with the bullets. It used to end 90% of my runs but I seem to capture it every time now.
The boss's first card reverses your left and right movement and it is in my opinion the hardest, only because of how dense it is. It also has some seriously nasty RNG, the pattern in this run is probably the easiest pattern I've ever had on it. Be extremely careful of the diagonal moving bullets as they can really mess you up.
The second card reverses your up and down movement. I find it slightly easier than the first because it's less dense. It gets a lot easier if you're close to the bottom (top?). The bullets coming from below aren't that threatening as they're really slow.
Third card has nasty RNG again. Too many diagonal arrows can really mess you up.
The Final card is actually her easiest spell in the end. The trick is to move somewhat close to her, this way the red waves aren't as wide and you can easily stream the aimed blue bullets. When upside-down, dash through the blue bullet wave when it has the big opening to restream. Make sure to pick the right red lane as to not get walled.
I'm late. I blame Corpse Party. Also the million 1MNB runs.
    (I know it's a Gohei.)
