  • No stage portion. I can't do anything if you say "why didnt you do stage portion" or "without stage portion it doesnt count" but it is way too easy compared to Hecatia & Junko, and it lasts so long. I just skipped it after 3 days.
    Take advantage of kunai hitboxes, they are like jellybean hitboxes.
    Weird history because used riri's patch to practice stuff.
    Took me a week, I have been playing this extra for 4 months (yes) because it was a very fun boss fight(and maybe because LoLK was my first touhou game lol). But I do not recommend this extra stage for first NN. The stage portion is just way too boring and way too long, and boss is way too hard and you will die, and have to do the stage portion again aka wasting 5 more minutes. I don't care enough to redo this with stage portion really.
    Let's get to strategies and rating. I will rate every attack between 1-5.
    First non: 1 - so easy.
    First spell: 1 - so easy.
    Second non: 3 - can be free but also very heavy. If you face a wall, move right till faster kunai waves go off, then go left.
    Second spell: 1.5 - restreaming can be tricky but with Marisa it only lasts one wave, provided you start from bottom and stream slowly.
    Third non: 2 - harder waves can provide some trouble at first, but when you learn it, you only have to be careful about walls.
    Third spell: 3 - Reaction spell. DO NOT COPY MY MOVEMENT IN VIDEO OR YOU MIGHT REGRET IT. Stay between bottom and middle and you should be fine.
    Fourth non: 4 - Junko's third non in lunatic. Really.... killed a lot of my runs.
    Fourth spell: 1 - trivial.
    Fifth non: 2.5 - if Hecatia moves down you are screwed.
    Fifth spell: 1 - so easy.
    Sixth non: 5 - Very hard. it is really hard to pay attention to gaps and tunnels here because you need to dodge stuff constantly. Wall situation appears here more often tbh, and same strategy applies, but this time, if hecatia moves down, you just pray really...
    Sixth spell: 2.5 - Stars, fireballs and lasers can give you very unfortunate situations sometimes, and yes in fact I lost a run to this spell.
    Seventh non: 2.5 - smaller gaps.
    Seventh Spell: 4.5 - Stacking moons together makes this trivial honestly but you have like 1% chance to do that. I keep this spell as short as possible, or else you won't like how it will go after 40 seconds.
    Eighth non: 3 - Junko's third attack in Lunatic but you only have to dodge 2 waves this time, more merciful but more effective when you lose a run to it.
    Eighth spell: 3 - honestly why did ZUN think this was a good idea? hugging sides omfg so fun... seriously this becomes so annoying if you are using Marisa.
    Ninth spell: 2.5 - well, it is managable but you can get into unfortunate situations like I had in this video.
    Tenth spell: 2 - Not too hard. Hecatia's second phase is the hardest here, third phase is denser yes but slower, gives you more time to read stuff.
