At the time my husband proposed to me almost 20 years ago all he could afford was a small diamond ring that wasn't worth much. To this day I still have that ring and I won't let him buy me a new one because the sentimental value means so much more to me than any price you could put on a diamond. A loving and trusting relationship is worth so much more than jewelry. You can't put a price on that!
